T-Bones, like I'm sure most other Lakes Region staples, are extremely short staffed and either bad at being honest about wait times or haven't learned what their small staff can handle yet. My party of 8 called ahead hours before we walked in because they told us 2 hours to wait. We finally get there around 8pm and it's deserted but we had to wait for an undisclosed amount of time longer (about 15 minutes). They end up splitting up my party since we were flexible. For the food--I ordered an espresso martini which was hilariously (and fittingly) treated like a dessert drink here with a chocolate sugar rim and plenty of Bailey's. The portion was huge but the Bailey's was a bit sickening so I didn't finish. I ordered the Blackened Salmon, which came with rice, cooked spinach, pineapple salsa, and a Greek salad to start. The salad was pretty good, with only a few wilting pieces of lettuce and the oil and vinegar were decent, though clearly not extra virgin olive oil. The salmon was pretty lackluster. Not too much flavor and flirting on Sysco/frozen, the salsa and rice couldn't quite make up for it. Portion was huge and I couldn't quite finish it. Our waitress was very nice but service was expectedly slow. I would give this experience 2 stars, but I know T-Bones is typically (used to be?) better and more reliable and they've upped their dairy-free and vegan options in recent years. This place is fairly generic and mostly what you'd expect. I was here maybe 1-2 years ago with a small group of people, and again this year for a similar trip. I didn't enjoy my meal last time, but figured it deserved a second chance. The ambiance is bland. The menu options were decent- they even have a section of the menu devoted to healthier options (unfortunately named "In the Pink). No, seriously. I ordered a bowl of chili and a salad. My chili came with fresh tortilla chips that were tasty, but the chili was not even lukewarm in the middle. Since there was melted cheese on the top, I knew it was microwaved. Disappointing. The service was a bit slow (or maybe the kitchen was slow?) and I wasn't impressed with anything this visit so I don't think I'd be back again. read more

This place is set in a nice quiet, remote part of New Hampshire. I came here as part of a skiing trip to the Granite State. I was lured by the promise of delicious, wholesome American cuisine. The portions are gigantic! I thought it was odd that as I walked in from the parking lot, everyone was carrying boxes of food and going back to their car. We started with an appetizer and we were surprised by the loads of food that came. Just the appetizer alone was enough to cover the 3 of us for the night. Nevertheless, we persevered and dared to order the 22 oz steak. The meat was cooked to perfection and just the way we ordered. I didn't even finish half the meal but I would recommend coming here. After leaving another restaurant in the area due to a long wait time, our party of four ended up at T-Bones. I have never been before and did not know what to expect. We visited on a Monday night for dinner and called ahead to be safe that we'd get a seat. We were seated within minutes and greeted by our waitress quickly. We were even able to sit next to the window and got a nice view of the lake, which meant a lot to me being from out of state! FOOD: I have tons of pictures for you, because the menu was enormous and the food was worth talking about! I ordered one of the summer specials on the first page of the menu: BBQ Dijon Salmon with asparagus and sautéed zucchini. Holy moly, how delicious!! Perfectly cooked and so flavorful. It had tomatoes and bacon on it along with a perfect tangy bbq sauce. The veggies were well seasoned, while not overly salty. The other menu items ordered by our table included Teriyaki Sirloin Tips, Seafood Casserole and Low Fat Fiesta Shrimp Pasta. Everything was excellent. Not one complaint from my fellow diners. The drink selection is pretty extensive as well. Your typical beach bar finds, but well made. I had the Governor's Island Iced Tea which was a pink mish mosh of liquor and juice. Was tasty. They have a decent beer selection too. There is plenty of seating and a nice bar area. They also have outdoor seating for nice days and nights. Parking seems a little squishy but not too bad. This place does get very crowded on weekends and it's smart to call ahead if you can. I really think they did a great job with their menu items and we all left super satisfied. Although not a fan of chain restaurants, this place exceeded my expectations.It was packed and we had to wait almost an hour to be seated. When being brought to our table, we heard a patron complaining about slow drink and food service and I thought, "Oh no." However, our server Brandon quickly introduced himself and got our drinks and appetizer order in immediately. As busy as it was, he was on top of things. The taco fries appetizer was o.k. but nothing to write home about. For entrees we ordered the baked, stuffed haddock and prime rib, both with potato and fresh vegetables. Food was delivered quickly and the meals were most delicious! Generous portions and reasonable prices. We sat by the huge windows overlooking the lake, where we got to watch the sun set and a fireworks display across the lake. Fantastic! Great food, great views, and outstanding service really made for a wonderful experience during our stay in New Hampshire. read more

Again, service was very disappointing. Rolled in with a large party 14 and we expected a wait, which was fine. But, after calling ahead and still waiting 30 more mins to be sat we are given a table that lacked silverware for half the party. The servers never noticed, we had to request several times and we had our appetizers. We were told "they're being washed" while we saw another server setting a table with silverware? So half the table ate the apps with their hands. I kid you not. When ordering entrees, T-Bone American eatery sold out of t-bones. That's what half my party intended to order, and the other, ribeyes, also sold out. Soups ordered that never arrived... NOT told about the summer specials. Only one summer menu placed in the menu... Okay, it was a holiday weekend, but wouldn't you think as a holiday weekend you would have brought your A game? Our bill could have been higher, they missed out on some serious tourist dollars. My son and I ate here last night and it was incredible! The whole staff was very friendly and polite. Dinner was delicious. I always share my entrée with my son and this is the first restaurant I've ever been to that served our split meal on separate plates. I came here with my family for lunch. Never been here before, figure is give it a try. We were not impressed to say the least. Our server was terrible. Never once cracked a smile, took more then 10 mins to get our drinks (didn't even bring us water), never checked up on us till we were finished, and had to wait more than 10 mins for our check.... And there were only a handful of parties in the building. Food came out fairly quickly. I had the shrimp scampi. It was dry and bland. Worst I've ever had. And to top it off... I became very I'll later that day and was up all night vomiting and shitting. I've always said everyplace deserves a second chance, but I stand corrected. Easy enough to order online, difficult to pay for the order once I showed up. The order hadn't been placed in a timely fashion because the person responsible had "just started doing the online orders." Couldn't pay if it wasn't on the system. That eventually got sorted out. Burgers were great. Prepared as ordered, sides were spot on, pumpkin pie was very tasty but a quite small.portion. We called to reserve a deck spot and they said they had a spot. We were put on the waitlist but when we got there and it was a 45 minute wait "because people like to linger out there." However there were tables "with a view" inside so we agreed to go in. It was not too crowded inside. The table was by the window but the blinds were drawn. Nice booth, hand sanitizer posted at various spots in the restaurant. Waitstaff was wearing masks although some nose slippage. Menus were online. Wish we'd discovered this place earlier. Unfortunately we found this place just before we left Laconia. It's cute, with nice outdoor seating and an unbeatable view of the water. It has a nice vibe and a fun atmosphere. They bring complimentary popcorn to the table, and it's as good as movie popcorn! We munched on that while waiting for our lunch. I had a veggie burger with sweet potato fries. The burger was exceptionally good, and they make their own rather than heating up something from the freezer. It was much better than one I had a couple days ago at another restaurant nearby. The fries were also excellent, crisp and well-seasoned. We ordered a T-bones T-bone, 2 country fried chickens, and a filet mignon. We all thought the food lacked seasoning. The mashed potatoes had a film on them like they were sitting and waiting and they were served with a tiny bit of brown gravy (not country gravy?). The Brussels sprouts was the best part of the meal. We had the fajita pasta, turkey dinner and 2 blackened salmon dinners. The dinner salads were so fresh, delicious dressings and we all commented about how good they were. Same thing with our main course, fresh and flavorful. We were seated inside and by the time we finished there was a waiting line and the noise level from the other seated patrons was a little high but I think that had more to do with all the families enjoying dinner and not an issue with the restaurant. I would eagerly go back and work my way through their menu. The prices are reasonable, the food is outstanding and not your typical pub fare, it's was a winner of a combination! read more

Amazing food and even better service! Visiting from Florida. Discovered TBones on Yelp & hotel recommended. Started with the popcorn over the bread! It had the perfect amount of salt and paired so well with our bottle of Cab! Perhaps we were overly hungry! The bacon wrapped scallops were delicious! The bacon was not overcooked and the scallops were moist. Salads were just as tasty with thick blue cheese dressing on the side! The croutons and radishes were a yummy addition! Hubby ordered the TBone steak medium rare. He said it was almost like a porterhouse and tasted better than a steak at Ruth Chris Steakhouse. The onion ring topped on the steak was not greasy & had great flavor! I enjoyed my medium rare filet paired with the garlic mushrooms (to die for) & butternut squash (just the right amount of seasoning & better than sweet potatoes). The sourdough bread the filet was served on was delicious (perfectly toasted with just the right amount of butter). Bottles of wine are half off on Sunday..
