They have paper straws, free WiFi, no restroom access, DoorDash and outlets to charge if you want to sit and drink your tea there. They also have a digital stamp 'card' where you can earn a few drink, you have to enter your phone number. The employees have always been nice and I get my drinks very quickly. I also see DoorDash pick ups regularly from here. For drinks there is an extra charge for getting no ice. I always get my drinks with less or no sugar. I've not gotten any food items but the drinks we've ordered: 1 Honey aloe, 30% light sweet, light ice - my go to drink 2. Smoothie pineapple with fig jelly - best enjoyed immediately before it melts 3. Hot ginger tea (add half lemon optional for $1), only comes hot - also a favorite of mine but you must like ginger 4. Elegant rose aloe with lychee jelly, no sweetness, light ice - floral, too sweet regular so I'd recommend no sugar, lychee jelly will add sweetness 5. Grapefruit royal tea, no sweetness, light ice 6. Jasmine green tea - not bad but not a regular drink 7. Thai tea - standard Thai tea taste, fairly sweet, boba is a good topping add on 8. Oolong milk tea with coffee jelly, less ice - good but we don't drink milk teas as much Overall, tea is good but having no restrooms for that after tea "tea-pee" is critical and I'm not a fan of the paper straws since they get soggy before I finish my drink. The 1 star is for the Elegant Rose Royal Tea cuz it was one of the best I've ever had at any T4 location. But I don't understand why the receipt says total of 19.26 while it charged me 19.62? Also idk why this location doesn't offer popcorn chicken like the others? It's lightly sweet and hits the spot on a cold bay area evening (55F or so, brr). The roasted oolong milk tea has good flavor as well. I've also tried their peppermint milk tea which didn't feel quite right, and the rose milk tea, which was a bit strong and really sweet even for reduced sugar, but not bad. Service is consistently just ok. I'm glad they have digital stamp cards now, but you have to remember to enter your phone number and ask for stamps, because the staff don't care. The only reason I'm giving this 2 stars is because the staff are nice but the drinks are not good. I ordered the black milk tea with drinkable mochi advertised outside and with tip, it came out to about $8 which is an insane price to pay for boba that is not good. The drinkable mochi is a big glob that kept getting stuck in the straw and stuck together on the bottom of the drink looking like a misshapen brain. It kept blocking the actual drink in the straw to the point that my straw turned into a flattened shape and it was basically impossible to finish the drink. She painstakingly gets up off a chair she's sitting on, finishes whatever she's doing on her cell phone, and I hope, I can only hope that she turned down whatever she was listening to on her airpods. Another employee steps in to assist the girl. This is where it gets comical. Instead of making a new smoothie, they cut the cup open and start scooping out the ice chunk avocado smoothie out of the cup and back into the blender. They fish out wherever boba made it into the blender. Then, instead of putting in more milk, water, avocado what have you...she begins to blend it again. Like it would make a difference. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯ The poor blender started yelling, "help me! I need more liquid!" But girl with airpods didn't hear it's plea. I mean, if the blender is struggling that loud it makes sense to add a little bit more liquid to get the blender a-whirlin'. ?!?!? Prices are a bit high for a standard drink, as a large size drink with boba with quality that is not really anything impressive is close to $6. I got the classical rose milk tea with boba, large size, 30% ice and 70% sugar. The sweetness level is still a bit high, so I would go with 50% sweetness. Boba is decent as it is not clumped together, and it was quite chewy. The tea gave a nice fragrance to it, but it was quite average compared to all the other boba places I have tried.
