In a city area that feels more like a theme park - I call it Drunken Disney - it is nice to find an oasis where you can still hear originals. Got some footage of Ms. Maddox who is here fairly regularly. The building itself is the oldest in downtown Nashville. AJs is the oldest on Lower Broad itself (1862), but this one has been around since 1820. It was originally a shop and a residence, which was typical in this period. Years back this was occupied by Pancho & Lefty's, which is now in Sylvan Park. Teddy's opened when they moved in 2023 (March 15 to be exact). The business is operated by The Nations Brewing company, which explains their primary beer choices - Nations owns Fat Bottom Brewing, Music City Beer Co., and Brvazzi Hard Italian Soda. Enough history, let's talk about Lefty's. This spot is off the main drag by about 50 feet, just far enough the prices drop a few bucks per drink. They claim to have the best burger on Broadway. I am not sure if it is the best or not, but they do make a solid burger. Weighing in at $17, it is a 6 oz burger with Tillamook Sharp Cheddar on a Potato bun. Definite win. Today, I just had a bowl of chili, while she had a house salad with grilled chicken added on top. I think they overdo the cheese on the salad, but I would still have the salad again some time. Grilled chicken is very nicely done. The chili is fairly pedestrian, but has a nice flavor. I would say these are just average, so going for the burger is a good option. As for the drinks, in downtown, where $8-$12 domestics are the norm, it is nice to see local craft as low as $5. The other spot in the Lower Broad area worth checking out is Broadway Brewhouse. I live downtown, so will definitely return. I actually prefer brews other than Fat Bottom, but having a cheaper beer with good music? A win in my book.

10/10. I celebrated my birthday on the second floor with ~40 people. The food was so good!! (Brisket, stuffed peppers, mac and cheese, salad). It was super easy to set up the event with Iris. We were able to play our own music and project to TV with help from Jess, and our bartender was amazing :). After the three hours were over. We went upstairs for 10mins while they cleaned and came back for karaoke. It was the best time!!

Teddys tavern is a great spot right off broadway! One of the bars in the area that you can actually sit down and have a great meal. Big menu with plenty of tasty items. I had their spin on a hot chicken sandwich which was great. We tried their house margarita as well which was hand crafted by the very knowledgeable bartender. Great ambiance, live music, fun spot!

Good spot right across from Bridgestone Arena. They have a downstairs bar and a rooftop, it definitely gets busy no matter where you are! There's a good selection of beer and cocktails. We liked the sloppy joe and the hot chicken sandwich!

This place was "okay-ish" First and foremost, service was horrible. Sat on the rooftop and never got anyone to come help us after 20 min. Had to walk over and place my food and drink order at the bar to get service. Food overall was good, the chicken sandwich was pretty damn good, however I could tell it has been sitting for a min. Bun was soaked in oil and chicken was lukewarm. Would have treated better if I got it fresh I'm assuming. Nachos were garbage (fries, beans, cheese, and meat?) better of getting some chilli cheese Fritos from the ice cream truck. Positive.... Ambiance and location is awesome, and perfect place to pregame before the game.

This is must stop in Nashville!!!! If you want great draft beer, excellent delicious food and impeccable service...you HAVE to come here! We had the pretzels and beer cheese and the cheeseburger and both were amazing! Probably the BEST pretzels and cheese we have ever had! Liz (the lizard) was so hospitable and gave the greatest service and then we had Chase who was equally hospitable. Good music and atmosphere. Can't say enough good things about this place. You just have to come here!! Period. Came back later and service was unfriendly with Ivy and Becca. Scared to order from them!!!! Mean girls!! But JP the entertainment was awesome!! We got the wings and they were petrified! Don't get those! Bartender makes the difference for sure ! We wanted Liz and Chase back!!!!

Teddy's is just a few steps off of Broadway, and it was much less packed. They have an awesome rooftop bar if you're in the mood to hang outdoors (it's partially heated in the winter), and they have live music on the other two floors. Their chicken sandwich was pretty good, and the drinks were fine. Prices were a little high, but they do provide a local's discount with your Nashville driver's license!

    Great deal on beer!

This is a fun place to chill off Broadway. The beer special is fantastic (Music City Brewery 16 oz for $2 ). The bartender was super fun to talk to. The food was not as good as we expected. They advertised "best burger" but I have had better. We also ordered a salad and wings which was just OK. The music was not as good as other places we visited in Nashville.

Was in the area for a concert and wanted something close and not a chain restaurant. Once we arrived we were immediately seated close to the stage. Loved the atmosphere of the old Nashville feel. We had the pretzels with the beer cheese for an appetizer, the pretzels were hot and fresh, beer cheese had great flavor with just the right amount of heat. Burgers were really good! Nothing fancy here, just good food, good service and great music. This is what makes Teddys unique! Keep up the good work, keep being you!

    The best burger on broadway!

This place was amazing! The bartender had a little bit of sass which we loved right off the bat. He was fun and got down to business. We told him we came in specifically because the sign said they had the best burger in Broadway. And I'm gonna have to say. I think they may have been right! The cottage fries were so good also. The guy that was playing music set the tone for a relaxing late lunch. Would recommend this place. 100/10

The bar has two hidden TVs that you can only see when you sit at the bar, which is such a cool touch. It keeps the space feeling upscale without sacrificing the ability to catch a game. The overall ambiance is great, and the music is always at the perfect volume for an easy conversation. The drinks have been consistently excellent. We've tried both cocktails and wine, and everything has been delicious. The wine is a little overpriced in our opinion, but it was so good that I'm glad we still ordered it! On our most recent visit, we started with the burrata. It was very good, but I do wish there had been more sauce and more cantaloupe. The sauce felt more like an accent than something that really tied the dish together. That said, the perfect bite was definitely the burrata with the prosciutto and cantaloupe! For our entrees, Jonathan ordered the pork chop, and I had the piri piri chicken. Both came with broccolini and patatas bravas. I was expecting traditional Spanish-style patatas bravas, so when whole baby potatoes showed up, I was initially a little disappointed. Don't let that fool you, though--these potatoes were incredible!!! Crispy on the outside, perfectly cooked on the inside, and packed with flavor! They ended up being one of my favorite parts of the meal! My piri piri chicken was fantastic! The portion was much larger than I expected, and the piri piri sauce served on the side was absolutely lick-the-plate good. I found myself dipping the potatoes and broccolini in it because it was just that delicious. Piri piri isn't something you come across often in Nashville, and The Finch absolutely nails it--and at a really reasonable price. Jonathan's pork chop was cooked perfectly with great flavor. It wasn't an over-the-top, show-stopping dish, but for around $30--including both sides--at a more upscale restaurant, it's hard to beat the value. One more recommendation: get the volcano rock shrimp. We had it on a previous visit, and we still talk about it! It's easily one of our favorite dishes we've had here. The Finch has been consistently good every time we've visited, and that's what keeps bringing us back! Great food, great drinks, a fun atmosphere, and solid value for the quality. We'll definitely be back again!

We got the pork chop medium well bc we like our pork more cooked bc ain't no one trying to get salmonella from undercooked pork. But it was sooo good, has a nice char on the outside, and perfectly seasoned. Additionally, it sits on top of a bed of allegedly "rice" according to our server. But to me, it reminded me of a tendon brisket texture. I would've bet money on it too. But delicious with sweet peach sauce that came with it. For the prime rib, it was a huge cut of meat, but it was lacking flavor, needed some more salt and some rosemary to bring out the meat. Both main dishes can serve 2 people each, so worth the price and food. Definitely come back! And a shout out to our server Cole, who was great
