Quick and easy service where you don't need to think too much to enjoy a meal. 4 rolls for $28 - scallop, blue crab, salmon, tuna (and can choose between regular or spicy versions for each). The five roll set includes a Toro handroll. Innovative flavors for each roll but I think that they utilize a little too much sauce. Added the everything bagel handroll at the end because of my curiosity. I think it is worth a try, it is very unique and jampacked with flavor. The everything bagel handroll consisted of cream cheese, miso, marinated salmon, and a sesame dressing. I would recommend it for those with adventurous tastebuds.

Service is stellar!! I sat at the bar by myself and had the "Hungry Hand Roll Set". You sre able to select original or spicy for each hand roll in the set. For the scallop I wanted original but the server made a mistake and gave me a spicy one. He allowed me to have the spicy one and made me the original one at the end to make up for it. The original was definitely better with the scallop. Even though the hand rolls were decent in size, you can alter by letting your server know if you want less rice. But the portion of fish was not alot. It was mask with lots of sauce, which is my only complain.

Food: I ordered two hand rolls - toro and scallop. The scallop was very fishy and didn't taste fresh. It's disappointing and concerning they would serve seafood in that condition. The toro was just okay and didn't taste as good as toro I've had at other hand toll bars. This hand roll bar is below average; I would recommend you spend your money elsewhere that serves fresh and high quality fish. The menu options were also very limited and not the typical sushi or hand rolls you'd find at a more traditional Japanese hand roll bar. Service: Staff were friendly and welcoming. Service was great and the best part of the meal. Ambiance: The restaurant is a good size with two sushi bars with about 20 seats total in the whole place. No tables in this place, just counter seats at the sushi bars. Overall, I wouldn't recommend this place and won't be returning.

Prices remained competitive! We showed up and they luckily had space to accommodate four. The staff were super friendly and courteous the whole time. They served us water and complimentary miso soup. I got the starving set and was able to make substitutions without extra charge. The fish were decent quality. I liked the salmon, scallop, tuna, and the hamachi. I would tweak some of the flavor pairing though. The toro wasn't the best, but it was doable. I was content after five hand rolls, but got hungry about half hour later. It's a good quick lunch experience.

I think I will put this place for a quick easy breezy lunch or dinner. Here's why. I had this place on a list so I walked in when it wasn't so packed. The person at the front guided me and made sure of my options whether takeout or dine in. They offer combos of their handrolls from 3 - 6 choices. In each roll, you have the option of choosing a spicy toppings or a "classic" one. For example, the scallop offered either yuzu honey mustard and tobiko (classic) or chili butter aioli with chili flakes and tempura crumbs. You can mix and match the spicy and classic hand roll. I took the 6 handroll ("hangry") combo and it was pretty filling. For $38, I had a decent meal plus the rolls were not skimpy (not overstuffed but not decent). When I had to leave earlier than expected, they allowed me to put the rest of my rolls in a to go box. The music wasn't too loud so I could have conversation with someone. It was on a Monday so it wasn't too packed plus the lighting wasn't too dark or too bright. Overall, a decent place for a meal.

Had a great time here! The hand rolls are absolutely delicious! We ended up getting the "hungry" option. I forgot to grab a picture, but I also got the crunchy rice with the yellowtail. That's a must get for sure. Price isn't that bad especially if you're hungry. It'll definitely fill you up. The best one they have is the lobster hand roll, but we ordered that separately. Service was fast, they serve it to you right away as soon as it rolled up.

Ok so the vegetarian menu is limited, but I'm still going to give them 5 stars. I tried all four vegetarian hand rolls and they were all very tasty. Pair that with the fact that the sevice is nice and friendly, a tip included pricing, and yuzu and matcha ipas?! This place is definitely worth it.

Food is phenomenal. I am a sushi snob and this sushi is amazing. Service is excellent, attentive and friendly. Ambiance is very chill and trendy. Laid back vibes with a warm energy.

Blue Crab Handroll

Food was great. A friend and I got the "starving" menu with came with 5 handrolls. The blue crab handroll really stuck out to me. It was amazing and so sweet and tasty. The rest of the rolls were great too. It's a little pricey, but in my opinion, it's worth spending for. The service was really good and the staff was friendly. I got my water refilled hella times because the waiter was so diligent. Very cool. I got to stay hella hydrated W The inside has a nice ambiance with a very relaxed and minimalist decor. Honestly helped me focus on the food and enjoy it. Definitely come check it out, W handrolls

Truffle Blue Crab Roll

I was craving hand rolls so bad and this place hit the spot! It's already become a regular place for me because the truffle blue crab roll is so delicious! Francisco was the most attentive chef and made my experience feel one of a kind. I can't believe this place isn't always packed honestly. Everything was fresh from the fish down to the Nori. Almost want to gatekeep this place from everyone I know

Scammed me on my order. I ordered salmon and they ran out and gave me cheap imitation crab maki and hand roll instead!!

DON'T come here! I'm from out of town and came to visit NYC. This place legit scammed me on my order. I ordered take out, toro maki, salmon maki and salmon nigiri(my favorite; was really looking forward to this) they ran out of salmon and gave me cheap imitation crab maki and hand roll instead! Without informing me! I left to a near by Boba shop getting ready to eat and noticed they messed up on my order. So I came back and that was when the host told me they ran out Salmon so the kitchen gave me what they had like what the actually FUCK?! You couldn't have informed me that?! I didn't pay for cheap fake crabs. The host girl ask for my info so she can ask the manager tomorrow to refund me. But I never got a refund. I'm so disappointed. What a ripoff. Save your money and go elsewhere.

Came here on the weekend for lunch. Overall, the food was decent, but the ambiance was a bit strange. I wouldn't go out of my way to come here, but it's a casual spot you can easily walk into if you're around the neighborhood. It doesn't compare to KazuNori, but it does the trick. It was nearly empty when I came on the weekend for lunch. Host / server was friendly, but just sitting on their phone where the main dining is and there wasn't someone behind the counter to make the rolls. Bit of a strange ambiance during peak lunch. I ordered the Hangry - comes with 6 hand rolls. It was plenty of food (I didn't even finish it all). You also get a free order of the tuna crispy rice if you check in on yelp which was really nice. Comes with 3 pieces - they were good!

I was in the mood for some hand rolls. This place did not disappoint. Ordered the spicy tuna and the spicy salmon. Both were delicious. Fresh and flavorful.

The sushi rice was too hot and made the seaweed soggy. Otherwise great with a wide variety of rolls to choose from.

The atmosphere here was a bit more lively and crowded compared to the more relaxed vibe of the UWS spot. I enjoyed my meal even more this time around. I started with the beet salad, which was delicious and offered great value given the generous portion size. it featured sliced beets, arugula, goat cheese, and walnuts. I also had my eye on the hijiki soybean salad--which is a bit smaller and reportedly homemade--so I may try that next time, along with the warm mushroom salad which looked very tasty. The edamame was standard but served as a nice starter. For my main rolls, I chose the salmon avocado and the yellowtail scallion. Both were very fresh and definitely worth ordering again. The salmon avocado roll had a nice touch of sesame seeds on the rice, while the yellowtail scallion was prepared with the seaweed on the outside. My boyfriend's sushi entree looked excellent, so I am considering that or the sushi-sashimi combo for my next visit. The entrees provide a substantial amount of food, and I especially appreciate that they allow you to choose which roll comes with your meal.

The slices aren't thin, delicate, and melt-in-your-mouth as one usually gets in a sit down; they are extra thick, and I had to really bite down on some of the pieces. The rice was nicely seasoned and was cooked well + portions are also big to match those thiccccc salmon slices. To be honest, I was getting a little nauseated after 5 pieces, haha~ They were definitely delicious but I'd probably just eat 3 or 4 pieces and share with a friend! It was easy to text the number on the website and coordinate a pickup time, and the staff was friendly when I arrived. The restaurant is a little hard to find as the windows are blinded and the sign is a piece of paper on the door.

The katsu was very, very moist on the inside, with a crispy batter that was so light it was almost flavorless. I honestly couldn't really tell the difference between the tenderloin and pork loin. Overall the dish had a very light flavor and I added quite a bit of sauce and wasabi. Some of the less memorable dishes were the eggplant agebitashi and truffle rice. The eggplant agebitashi tasted like a cross between an eggplant parm and a bolognese. The truffle rice had a very strong truffle flavor that ended up overpowering everything else in the dish. I thought the slices of raw button mushrooms were a little strange. I really enjoyed the sabazushi. The pieces of mackerel were thick and carried a lot of that characteristic mackerel oily flavor, but the oiliness was cut by enough vinegar to balance everything out. The niku udon was also a surprise hit. The noodles were wide, flat, super slurpy, and the broth carried a deep umami flavor. Overall, I had a pretty solid experience here.
