Neat coffee shop franchise with delicious coffee! I visited back in April, and I ordered a cold brew, drip coffee for my grandpa, and a matcha affogato, which is something I haven't seen being served anywhere else. The cold brew was super nice, I sprinkled a little bit of cinnamon on mine to give it a little more flavor. The matcha affogato was delicious, I chose the got milk flavored gelato and served as a sweetener for the matcha. They must've cooled the matcha before pouring it onto the gelato, because the gelato wasn't too melted when I received my order. The baristas were super nice while taking my order, and answered any questions I had asked them. The line was a little long, but moved quickly. There was even a free sample of espresso with single serve mugs on the counter before you reach the registers! I wish more coffee shops in general did this! Creamer is on another small counter where sugar, cinnamon, and the trash bin are, although they were running low on it. I wanted to ask the baristas for more creamer for my grandpa's drip coffee, but I was running short on time so I didn't ask them. Definitely stop by when you get the chance!

I drove by this place and thought it was a dental office or something, unbeknownst to me, it was an amazing coffee shop! Not much signage, and even less parking. Heads up, you'll need to probably park in the neighborhood (so please be courteous) but a very cool shop. Lots of seating, and seems to be a popular place for folks to drop in and work or study. The coffee was top notch. I had the gingerbread latte...beautiful presentation and you could taste the quality. Will definitely return now that I know it's there!

Very aesthetically pleasing in every way. So much cute cute merch. They did not have any stickers at the time. Bummer. I just ordered a hot latte and a croissant to go. The barista had the latte out very quick. Cashier had my croissant out fairly quickly. The croissant was decent. They did not warm it up, if they do that. They didn't ask me if I wanted it warmed up. The latte was pretty standard. But it was cute. Overall, not a bad experience. I would go back. I kinda want that little stuffie and am regretting not getting it.

Temple Coffee Roasters delivers an experience, not just coffee. Every cup is unique, with flavors that are delicate, enticing, and incredibly enjoyable--you can actually taste the distinct notes in each brew. Honestly, it's some of the best coffee I've ever had. Sipping a cup of Temple is always a pleasure and makes Starbucks feel like gas station coffee in comparison. A true standout for any coffee lover.

Absolutely delicious quality coffee, but does it egoize their customer service? Shared with the barista with short blonde/pink hair that it was our 1st time and there was zero to no acknowledgement on that. We were a group of 3 that was taking our time reviewing the menu options and felt pressured to make a decision with no explanation or suggestions of menu options, just eyes watching us. Someone in my group requested a Caramel Macchiato and the response back was "I can make you a Vanilla Latte." all while a container labeled caramel was in sight. Out of fear of asking further questions, we just agreed and ordered 2 of them because the other person in our group no longer felt comfortable to say what they wanted to order. I very much enjoyed the cherry foam! They definitely put a lot of heart into their seasonal specials. Will try again, maybe different location.

Temple has to be one if my top favorite coffeehouses. This location has limited parking; if you park in the neighborhood, be careful not to block the neighbors' driveways. Love the clean, natural aesthetic, the plentiful windows letting in natural light, the extensive menu, and the not too distracting or loud music. Lots of seating. Not much left by way of pastries by 6 pm on a Tuesday; better come early if you wanted baked goods. Iced Thai tea was delicious and topped with a sprinkle of cinnamon.

Great coffee classes every 1st and 3rd of the month

Love coming to this particular location for affogatos and coffee classes. The free coffee classes are offered 1st and 3rd Fridays of every month from 1-2pm. I always learn something new. Connor spoiled us on 12/6/2024 with cookies and hot apple cider while introducing us to the Festivity Blend and it's single origin components. Such a wonderful class that highlights and breaks down what each single origin contributes to the easy to drinking, festivity blend. I learn so much from each class, and I am grateful for the passionate staff for sharing their knowledge and expertise with the Sacramento Community.

Nice reading area. Seating inside and out is good. Parking is hard in this area due to a small parking lot and limited street space due to the residential areas and major street. But once in, one finds the service good, the choices like other stores in this chain, and a relaxing place to chat or work..

Food is great (I always leave with an affogato or muffin) Service is amazing (the whole staff is friendly and knowledgeable) Ambiance is my favorite!! ( I love coming here to work or catch up with friends) Get here early to snag a seat. It gets packed quick! If you plan to work and need an outlet to charge your device, there's only outlets along the wall facing the window or along the couches closest to the restroom!

The Black Sesame French Toast was fantastic! We also got the Date-Orange Latte and the Salted Honey Lavender Latte, both tasted great! Our three drinks took less than 10 minutes, and I think the French Toast took exactly ten minutes. Not long at all, and it was busy when we were there(11am). My order was to-go, and they were all perfectly packaged! I so appreciate the front girl answering all my silly questions, the efficiency of the team, getting to watch the man in the kitchen do his work, and the clean and inviting presence of the place. My daughter brought in her baby milk and spilt some, only for one of the guys to clean it up quickly. I so appreciate you guys!! There was a challenge, as I also spoke with the front girl about, but parking is competitive. All the parking spots were taken. Some parking spots were reserved for the neighboring businesses, so I found parking on the roadside. Is it possible to expand the parking lot? It's tough to give patronage to this great business with this challenge. I suppose it's a good problem to have when many people want to come here ;)

My drink wasnt too sweet which I prefer. The hojicha latte was great as well! You don't see this often if at all so it was a pleasant surprise. The service was friendly and they were patient when I had questions on the standard vs the "twice" drinks. They have a shared parking lot which helps as they are off a busy stretch of road. The cons: They do not have size options for their beverages. Which for the most part isn't an issue except when I wanted a large drink. Which is why I bought 2. They partnered with Pastry Cat and unfortunately the common theme was they never had pastries even in 9am window. Not their fault but maybe partnering with a patisserie that offers consistent inventory might be worthwhile? The ambience is less "come and enjoy your drink" and more "we don't have enough seating"and use the space efficiently. I think if they update the layout of the tables and chairs, it would feel more inviting to sit for a bit or meet up with friends. The parking lot. It's terrible, crowded and people don't know how to park. I saw a couple of cars almost back into eachother while waiting and I was grateful I parked on the street and walked. Overall, the quality of the drinks and the friendliness are great and that receives 4 stars. If you want a quality matcha drink then give them a try. But I have access to other cafes that meet my needs; enough that Offbeat will be more of an off the beaten path option than a regular one.

Wushiland Boba is my new favorite spot for boba in Sac!…read more I found out about it from a recent Feed Mei Mei YouTube video, and of course I had to check it out asap. I looked up the origin and it turns out Wushiland is a spin off from the Taiwanese boba chain 50嵐 (if you speak mandarin, it says Wushi Lan). Located on Sutterville in a tiny strip mall with minimal parking right next to the Freeport area where there are plenty of good eats, some of which are my favorite places in Sac to eat at, Wushiland is in an optimal location. Bright, clean, and with a decent amount of seating, you have the option to order from kiosks or up front at the counter. The AC was blowing cold and a nice respite from the El Niño heat. The workers are friendly and drinks are made quickly. Be advised that the drinks are voluminous, especially if you're like me and ask for less ice. Coming from someone who considers Chicha San Chen their favorite Taiwanese tea chain (but alas we don't have it in Sac), the difference in quantity is huge. Obviously if you're looking for a refined style of tea chain, Wushiland doesn't compare, but still the taste of their teas shine through and there is a good variety for everyone's palate. The first time I tried their earl grey tea because I have been craving an earl grey for a while, and that was deliciously smooth. The mini boba were so fun to chew on, and I usually prefer them over the regular size. They provide a ton of boba here as well. The next time I had their yakult green tea and that was very refreshing indeed. Both times my husband went with fruit teas, and had nice remarks to say about both of his drinks. He also tried their new QQubes and their texture was very QQ (I had a sample). We will most certainly return to Wushiland, especially since it's so accessible. Prices are standard, and honestly for the amount of tea you get, it's very worth.

You can get brewed teas, yakult teas,…read morebrown sugar drinks, macchiatos and even ice cream drinks, which not a lot of other boba shops have. And you can get an extra shot of tea if you want your drank strong. Prices range from $5.25-$7. I've tried the roasted oolong milk tea and the grapefruit green tea and they've been on point. I usually get them both at 50% sweetness. Another thing they offer here that some other shops don't have are the mini boba balls. My friend ordered the uji matcha latte macchiato with the mini balls, and he wanted another one to-go! The shop is a tad small and cozy(ish) since the seats and tables are close together. The theme is very colors of a bee; black and yellow. There's a long bench with cushions so it's a good place to sip and chill, and people come here to study it seems. Ive been here a few times mainly on a Saturday and all 3x it's been busy. They have 2 kiosks you can order from, or you can order from a human. Wushiland choose a good area of Sac to post up shop because it's the currently the only boba drink shop (for now) near Hollywood Park/Land Park and very close to Sac City College. They're located in the corner of a strip mall type plaza. And parking isn't too bad. Overall, good drinks for a reasonable price and service is decent. They have a fun logo, too. I would definitely come back here to try more of their drinks!
