I ordered the chicken salad and added 8 oz of salmon on top (keeping the chicken) but ditched the cheese and dressing. My sister ordered the same thing and my husband had the sirloin and shrimp combo. We all rest enjoyed our meals, polishing off our plates! The salmon was super tasty... Making me wish a Texas Roadhouse BBQ were near where I live in Los Angeles! This is my birthday dinner restaurant every year. I love the salad, dressing, rolls, honey butter, grilled shrimp, rice, loaded baked potato or loaded sweet potato (depending on my mood) & last but not least a side of barbecue ribs. This last time I went with my family. We had a big party so it understandably took a bit for all the orders to arrive. The place is usually great. Honestly for me personally I find it noisy. I prefer a restaurant where I can talk to and hear the person next to me without having to raise our voices. I cannot speak to the steaks, ribs and such as I don't eat much red meat. read more

This place has gone downhill.. worst customer service for my husband's 50th birthday... don't expect anything & they are ridiculous to ask. The food 'potatoes' were dripping in salt. I wonder if those that love this place have never cooked. First time ever my ribs were biscuit dry. Huge regrets & we left before they could come pretend they like birthdays or special occasions.. it was 20+ mins after any part of dinner that was edible was eaten.. why even ask? Still good food and a great ambience, however had issues within the service in regards to 21+ activities. My friends and their better halves are all legally 21+ trying to order some drinks before we all get transferred for work and never see each other again. We are from all over the country and in the trades, so we have different ID's from different states. In all the times I've been to Texas Roadhouse, it has never been "corporate policy" to take ID's to the back and check them (for almost over an hour), as we were told. Long story short, the unnecessary lying and delay in what we thought was going to be a good night lead to uneducated management ruining a good experience. We have been coming here for over 25 years and it has always been our go to for a good, reasonable priced steak. The last several times we have been, it has been a disappointment as far as the steaks go and being cooked overdone or getting a sirloin when we ordered a filet. We were planning a double Birthday meal. We called on Saturday at 6 and was told that even though the website says 35 minutes that we couldn't get in till 9:30. We decided to go on Sunday so we we called back and set up a time for 6:45. We stude in the lobby till 7:20 then we were talken to 2 tables on together. The hole point of this dinner and calling ahead to reserve a table is so we could be together. If we wanted to have 2 tables we could have just showed up and gotten 2 tables. We told our server that we would like to be together. He said that atleast we were close to each other and laughed. We tried to deal with it and it tuned out to be horrible. We couldn't have a conversation or even share appetizers. Our server took our order and could plainly see a here us comitt that we were not happy with the seating arrangements. I asked for a manager and she showed up and didn't even make eye contact with me. She went to the other table and told them something I couldn't hear her and even though I asked for her she never came to our table. The food was good for the most part. My Son's food was horrible. He wanted chicken fingers fries and mac and cheese. In the menu it says cheeses mac in town what he got was old dried out box mac. His fries were mostly burnt and chicken was rubbery. Our salad had no croutons and was bland and boring with out some crunch. All and all the food was good not great by a long stretch. The bill had a 5% discount on it but that doesn't make up for us not being able to have a conversation and we were charged for my son's drink even though the ranger meal comes with a drink. valentines night dinner.....decided to order online for pickup because so busy. we went online, ordered, double checked because system was acting really wierd, jerky, kind of like it was crashing. got order in, husband went to go pickup (3:30 we ordered) and when he got there they only had one order, said they didn't get other order and that was it. my husband called told me what happened i went online to order his dinner again and system kept saying we can't take your oder at this time. called them and mia put me on hold, three times, 15, 25, and audrey 28 minutes, finally called back and told them i wanted a manager and i was not hanging up and they weren't putting me on hold! finally got amanda, who said she was a manager, said the system had crashed, i told her what happened to us and the three times on hold, no remorse, no nothing, just do you want to place order with me? but it will be at least another 35 minutes and of course another trip to town!!! now , to my order, i ordered chicken fried steak, i got chicken fried chicken. raw, undercooked rolls. my husband and, an hour and half later (or more) finally got his order came home, his was cold, they never called him to come in and get he finally went in and asked if it was done yet since he didn't get the text to come in and pickup....it appeared he got the 6 oz steak instead of the 8 oz as ordered...you would think since they have been open here for many years that they could handle a holiday night, guess not!! we used to love this place, horrible customer service, food is subpar, don't waste your time or patience! read more

Wouldn't normally give this restaurant such a low rating but the take out was truly gruesome. They have the "to go parking"located next to where everyone takes a break from the restaurant. It was a hive of activity the whole time I waited. I counted at least five employees at one time smoking and chatting outside the door. I was told 25 minutes on the phone for my family's order. . It has now been 45. Would have liked to have known it would take so long, I would have gone somewhere else. Not only that but they forgot the butter AND sour cream for 2 orders of loaded baked potatoes and the honey butter for baked potato. Disappointing experience!! read more

Stopped here while on vacation, and enjoyed very good meal with very friendly service. I had one issue that could have soured my trip: since masks and hearing aids don't mix well, I removed mine during the meal and apparently let them fall out of my pocket. I called Texas road house the next morning from our next destination, and a helpful employee looked for them, had no luck and suggested I call back after 2 when Amanda, the shift manager, would be back. Amanda not only searched successfully, she cheerfully mailed the hearing aids to my home so I wouldn't disrupt my trip! With a replacement cost of about $4,000, this could have put a real damper on our first post-COVID adventure. I went to Texas Roadhouse for dinner tonight. While walking to my table; the young woman asked how my day was going. I told her I came to celebrate what would have been 37 years of marriage if my wife was still alive. We always enjoyed going there. I ordered chicken fried sirloin steak ! A family favorite. A tossed salad with blue cheese crumbles and my raspberry lemonade rounded out the menu. I ate and reminisced. I enjoyed every bite and the excellent service from the friendly staff. At meal's end, my server came to clear the table and told me her manager had picked up my dinner tonight. I was blown away at the kindness. I told her how amazing this was. She told me, yes, this is a great place to work. I left with tears in my eyes... ........ tears of gratitude for the years I had with her, tears of joy for the memories and tears in awe of the kindness I had experienced. Went at dinner time, party of 2, was able to be seated right away while larger groups had to wait. Wait staff were all friendly and attentive to our needs. Food was great, came out fast, and cook as ordered. The fresh baked rolls and cinnamon honey butter are the best! Restaurant is clean with typical decorations. There was something that stood out though about this one it was our server Spence. He was very attentive to our table and an energetic and joyful personality. Pretty damn consistent. That's a huge plus. I love it when my grandfather asks for the prime rib, end cut, rare. That's damn near impossible, but it makes his heart happy to ask for it! He wants the char of an end-cut with all the tasty, crispy, pieces, and the tenderness of a rare prime rib. Good luck, gramps, all the power too ya, but... they have a blooming onion (sorry Outback, but they call it some type of flower). Very, very similar. Eerily similar. Like Siamese twins similar with the same type of dipping sauce. The ambiance is casual, yet classy enough you can take a dinner or lunch date to visit. This is one of those eat peanuts and throw the shells on the floor places! Amazing restaurant!! My family and I are on a road trip and saw this on our map and decided why not! The service here is absolutely amazing and the food itself is great (loved the fall off the bone ribs!) But the absolute best part was having them sing happy birthday to my mom (they brought out a saddle and wouldn't stop singing till she got off!! This used to be one of my lady's and I favorite restaurant however the last time we've came was August 20th at 8pm and we got horrible service. We both ordered the critters one with ribs and the other with a medium stack. 20 minutes later the server comes back and says I was informed that the kitchen is out of chicken. Communication with front of the house and back of the house doesn't exist anymore or what? It should have been 86 and the server should have immediately came back to table and told us. Anyways we substituted for catfish. They ended coming out with the food. My lady got ribs and not her steak. Our fries were cold and soggy.. We had informed the server and instead of replacing the sides and bringing out her steak like she ordered she said it's been a rough night. That's not out problem. We asked to speak to a manager and they tool off 10 dollars off the ticket. I and my lady both work at well known restaurants in the grand valley and we would definitely comp out the whole ticket or at least 50% off and make sure they would get the right food. I ended up paying 47.00 dollars for a half slab of ribs and one piece of catfish. My lady was upset and as was I.
