Been to this location a few times and normally the service and food are great. This time was honestly awful. My girlfriend was given so many dirty looks from servers/managers just hanging around that she felt uncomfortable to where she didn't order food and ended up leaving. Our waitress didn't even ask what had happened to the 4th member of our party and just ignored the fact that she left. On top of that already making things worse the food was pretty bad. My shrimp was extremely rubbery and barely edible - mac and cheese had like NO cheese and tasted like plain noodles, the sauce was barely visible. Our waitress was barely anywhere to be seen at our table but kept checking on the tables around us - we had to wait to ask for refills because she kept disappearing. On top of that she didnt fully listen to how my friend wanted her food and ended up with smothered food instead of mushrooms on the side. Came in on a Thursday evening and place was packed! Only had to wait 15-20 min on an estimated 10 min wait, so it wasn't too bad. Once seated, we got our drinks pretty quickly. One of our napkins was definitely dirty - we asked for another one with no issue though. Our waitress definitely expected us to know what we wanted as soon as we sat down lol but I told her a couple times in a maybe 5 min span that we still needed a minute. It felt very rushed. When we ordered our food, the waitress tried to upsell every item possible - if i wanted avocado, I would've asked for it. If I wanted my fries to be cheesy with bacon, I would've asked. If we wanted the baked potato to be loaded, we would've asked. Every individual being asked this is repetitive and annoying. It took a decent while to get our food, but the place was busy so that's understandable. We had to ask for more bread - service is best when it's offered, especially when the wait is long. I probably wouldn't order it again, but that's more personal preference than anything they did wrong. For entrées: * My wife ordered the ribeye, and it was cooked perfectly. Finally I've had sometimes after an appointment near by St. Rose, I drive here 2pm. And waited in the empty Parking lot, wanted to make sure I could get in today when they open at 3pm. I only came here out of curiosity cuz my friend said it was her favorite restaurant... clearly she hasn't had anything better than this. Almost every Sunday with 3 adults... we almost always get the Mikes who are awesome... today we got Jocelyn who was absolutely HORRIBLE and WE WON'T EVER COME BACK! But the worst was that she never cleared the dishes, never offered desert and left us there for over an hour trying to get a bill! My steak was cold and all they did was more than likely, stuck in the microwave brought it back out to me, and it was still just as cold. This is a chain but the food is good. I've been to each location here in town and I personally feel the one on the North side is better then the rest. I've always had amazing service here, the staff have always been nice and the food has always been good. The place is cool, the staff do dances from time to time and its a fun place. My last visit was to the one on St. Rose and I must say the staff there were really nice and the food was good. Watch out for the rolls, they are dangerous and will get you hooked. On the North side you get a bag of peanuts on your table. At this location, some had and some did not. We were a table of the did not so we had to ask. The rolls do come with cinnamon butter which I cannot eat because of a cinnamon allergy, (I know, its not fun), but if you ask your server, they will bring you regular butter which was yummy. The potato skins and the rattlesnake bites are really good. I recommend those for appetizers. The pork chops, ribs, prime rib all amazing. I do like this place, I do recommend this place no matter which location you choose, but make a reservation as it gets crowded quickly because they are a popular choice for eating. They have an ample little waiting area for parties to wait if you prefer to do so in restaurant, versus outside or in your car like some people prefer. The entire restaurant was busy, packed, and each table had couples or families, so we figured this location was a good one. For our entrees our go to are the 15 oz ribeye with grilled shrimp or their rack of ribs. Their steak is well seasoned and cooked per your request and it never fails always on point don't forget to get it smothered with onions and mushrooms. Their grilled shrimp is ok tail on not dry also their rack or ribs super soft bones fall right off and great bbq flavor.
