The food was OK. The service was OK too. My mother wanted to go here to celebrate a belated mother's day. We went the wedenesday after mothers day. It was packed and loud whe. We went around 630pm. By 800pm, there were not much people left. She loves the bread with the flavored butter. We ordered the account and cheese and it didn't have enough cheese. The macaroni noodle was dry. I love Texas roadhouse Saint Rose location, but I'm getting to feel like I'm being rushed through my meal. The food was tasty. The portions were just right, but I don't like the rush feeling! we had just received our salads and we were not even halfway through our salad when our main course came! As soon as I was done with my main course, she scooped up my plate and told me about paying at the kiosk, my husband was still finishing his dinner , and needed a refill of his Diet coke. I called her over and asked her for a refill for him of diet Coke and she replied you can pay your bill on the kiosk and I'll be right back with your Diet Coke to go.!!! we never asked for the drink to go! Came here yesterday for the first time with my family. Around 4 on a Saturday and waited maybe 5 minutes. Christopher d was our server and he was very friendly and great talking with us and our younger kids. He was even joking with my husband at the end. My husband is still in a food coma from the yummy food. The rolls and butter they give you are delicious. We had the fried pickles. So yummy. Added to that, the steaks are pretty good, the shrimp are pretty good, the sides are pretty good, and the food is really good. Service is very friendly. Prices are extremely reasonable. I would rate the steaks as eight or nine out of 10, the fresh vegetable side was eight out of 10, the bowl of chili was nine out of 10, the baked potatoes are 10 out of 10, the sauté mushrooms are 10 out of 10. Overall, fantastic food for the price and the phenomenal quality of service. The restaurant itself is very nice with a very fun vibe and very relaxed, so there are no pretensions. I came here because it was close to my house and I heard it was really good. When we first entered it was busy but we got seated quickly. The staff was very nice and attentive. The meals came out pretty quickly! I was surprise. so if you're starving, you will not be waiting long for your food which is awesome! The appetizers were good , I the rattlesnake bites were so good my favorite appetizer! Even the wings were good . I wasn't a huge fan of the onion rings. We were able to join a waitlist beforehand so our table was ready right as we walked in. The inside was a bit hooky but I liked it. The meal started with the rolls and honey butter, I could have gorged myself on those alone, so fluffy, buttery & delicious. Been to several Texas Roadhouses and the service and food is always amazing, however this was our first time at this location. On 8/23 around 6:00 under name of Denise F party of 4 we took our granddaughter and her new boyfriend out to dinner to get to know him better and celebrate a special occasion. We did get seated fairly quick, service was a little less than stellar as throughout the dinner we rarely saw our own server but we didn't want to fuss in front of our new company. Our food came, dinner looked good and my Granddaughter, my husband and my food tasted great! We later learned on Monday after talking to my Granddaughter that her boyfriend told her his full rack of ribs even though they looked amazing they were stone COLD!!! He didn't want to say at the time because he did not want to look bad or complain in front of us, beside the wait for the food and lack of service we were having but now I am super upset about it. I know not everyday is not perfect but when u spend $$ for good food you assume you will at least get it HOT!!! Now reading the comments on here I see we need step up management to work of service and making sure at least we have warm food! I've always had mixed feelings about Texas Roadhouse, probably because I've been spoiled by great steakhouses around Vegas, but we needed an easy meal and was gifted a Texas Roadhouse gift card during Christmas. Also because their rolls and butter are ABSOLUTELY FIRE. We've been here maybe 2 or 3 times previously, and I can't say I've ever been impressed by the steak quality or how it's cooked, but again, spoiled. For this trip, I got on the app's waitlist, which put us at about 5-15 minutes, equal to our drive there. We parked, I marked us as "HERE," and almost immediately after received the text that we were next on deck and to see the hostess. She put us in a. Waiting area and we only waited there for about 5 minutes before we were seated - it was all very efficient. As it stands for casual dining steakhouses, this was good, but not outstanding. My medium rare was probably closer to medium, was a bit tough for my taste, and lacked any seasoning, and table salt wasn't cutting it for me (but I digress, I'M SPOILED HAHHA) in cases like this I turn to A1 steak sauce to salvage the meal, and it helped. I wish they had done a better job rendering the fat, because the fat cap was super tough and hard rubbery. The Caesar salad was delicious and crisp, and the loaded mashed potatoes were rich, creamy, and wholeheartedly satisfying. Our server, Jennifer, was great - always very kind, warm welcoming smile, refilled our beverages and rolls. Overall it's great for what it is, casual steakhouse atmosphere, with loud country music, sports, and line dancing. If you're coming in expecting a Gordon Ramsay steak, you're going to be disappointed. I recommend this location, as long as your expectations are better than mine! read more

Crispy, well seasoned, and gone way too fast. And the warm rolls with cinnamon butter are always a win. I could probably make a meal out of those alone. I ordered the filet with a baked potato. They brought out a different steak at first but corrected it pretty quickly. My boyfriend got the prime rib and it was amazing. If you order it make sure to ask for the creamy horseradish. It adds the perfect kick. One of his sides never made it to the table which was a little disappointing but we didn't notice until later. I've been to Texas Roadhouse many times at many different locations across the country; including the St. Rose location. So I enjoy the place and expect a level of service and quality. However on this particular day the meal and service at the St. Rose Texas Roadhouse restaurant was disappointing. My guy ordered the ribeye and ribs with a loaded baked potato and macaroni and cheese. I ordered a sirloin with veggies and loaded baked potato. The food took awhile to arrive and when it did, it was barely warm like it had been sitting there waiting for a server to bring it to our table. During this wait the table next to us had Texas Roadhouse employees in the booth. Maybe they were off their shift or maybe they were on their break but their booth seemed to be the popular place to be since other Texas Roadhouse workers gathered around there just chatting and ignoring their tables. So I can only assume that our food sat for a bit while the servers were shooting the shit with their coworkers at the booth next to us. Now the Mac and cheese looked like it had no cheese sauce at all. It was just macaroni noodles. I stilled it around and took a bite. It looked and tasted like the boxed Mac and cheese you buy at the grocery store. Disgusting. My guy didn't even eat it. We barely finished our meal and took the leftovers home for the dog. $77 wasted. I told my guy to remind me never to come here again. I do not recommend the Texas Roadhouse on St. Rose at all. The best part of the meal, honestly, was the bread; the rolls are warm, soft, and dangerously addictive. You could make a meal out of them alone. The meat itself was average. Not bad, but nothing that stands out, especially if you actually know Texas BBQ and what real smoke and flavor are supposed to taste like. For a place with "Texas" in the name, nothing about it truly screams Texas. It's more "Texas-inspired" than Texas-made. Texas Roadhouse used to have good quality steaks but lately haven't had any luck. Yesterday 5/2/2025 my sister took me and my brother for his birthday. The bread rolls are always a hit and so with the sides. I ordered rib eye 12 oz which supposed to be a good cut but what I got looked like they run out of rib eye, my steak did not look appetizing and it was very thin like they run out of rib eye. Incredible service from the minute we walked in. Since we joined the waiting list on the app, our wait to be seated after arrival was pretty quick. And they have a ton of screens to watch sports or other shows in the waiting room near the entrance. The guy who sat us was very friendly and walked us to our table with a fresh basket of bread. That bread was so soft and the sweet butter was outstanding! All of the steaks were cooked as ordered. The ribeye was so juicy and flavorful. The full rack of bbq pork ribs was delicious and came with a nice crispy skin. House made croutons were tasty on the house salad. The baked potato was a little firm, but that's my only gripe. The onions and mushrooms complimented the sirloin steak perfectly. They have a good draft beer selection, and their cockctails are generously sized and reasonably priced. Mary gave us great service and had us cracking up. It does get a little loud with the music, but that's my preference so I liked that. This place is so much more affordable than some of the high end steak houses in town and I think the service and steaks are better here.
