Texas Roadhouse used to have good quality steaks but lately haven't had any luck. Yesterday 5/2/2025 my sister took me and my brother for his birthday. The bread rolls are always a hit and so with the sides. I ordered rib eye 12 oz which supposed to be a good cut but what I got looked like they run out of rib eye, my steak did not look appetizing and it was very thin like they run out of rib eye. Incredible service from the minute we walked in. Since we joined the waiting list on the app, our wait to be seated after arrival was pretty quick. And they have a ton of screens to watch sports or other shows in the waiting room near the entrance. The guy who sat us was very friendly and walked us to our table with a fresh basket of bread. That bread was so soft and the sweet butter was outstanding! All of the steaks were cooked as ordered. The ribeye was so juicy and flavorful. The full rack of bbq pork ribs was delicious and came with a nice crispy skin. House made croutons were tasty on the house salad. The baked potato was a little firm, but that's my only gripe. The onions and mushrooms complimented the sirloin steak perfectly. They have a good draft beer selection, and their cockctails are generously sized and reasonably priced. Mary gave us great service and had us cracking up. It does get a little loud with the music, but that's my preference so I liked that. This place is so much more affordable than some of the high end steak houses in town and I think the service and steaks are better here. Quick service although it was busy. We put in our order and our food came out very quickly too. Everyone would always ask if we're ok, how's our food, do we need refills, etc. I would say we were in and out within an hour!! Our total for 7 of us was reasonable too. I hate to give away my secret but this Texas Roadhouse serves the best steaks and prime rib in Vegas. I've eaten here many times and each time the meat is cooked to perfection. Always tender, juicy and flavorful. Portions are so large that my wife and I always split a meal. 16oz prime rib medium rare, 2 side caesar salads and all the fluffy soft bread we can eat. Way better deal than any high price steakhouse. Unless you have to have that fancy steakhouse atmosphere, do yourself a favor and save yourself a lot of money and try Texas Roadhouse. I've been to Texas Roadhouse many times at many different locations across the country; including the St. Rose location. So I enjoy the place and expect a level of service and quality. However on this particular day the meal and service at the St. Rose Texas Roadhouse restaurant was disappointing. My guy ordered the ribeye and ribs with a loaded baked potato and macaroni and cheese. I ordered a sirloin with veggies and loaded baked potato. The food took awhile to arrive and when it did, it was barely warm like it had been sitting there waiting for a server to bring it to our table. During this wait the table next to us had Texas Roadhouse employees in the booth. Maybe they were off their shift or maybe they were on their break but their booth seemed to be the popular place to be since other Texas Roadhouse workers gathered around there just chatting and ignoring their tables. So I can only assume that our food sat for a bit while the servers were shooting the shit with their coworkers at the booth next to us. Now the Mac and cheese looked like it had no cheese sauce at all. It was just macaroni noodles. I stilled it around and took a bite. It looked and tasted like the boxed Mac and cheese you buy at the grocery store. Disgusting. My guy didn't even eat it. We barely finished our meal and took the leftovers home for the dog. $77 wasted. I told my guy to remind me never to come here again. I do not recommend the Texas Roadhouse on St. Rose at all. Our server Kourtney was great! This was my hubby and sons 1st time and I haven't been to a Texas road house in 10 years or more. It was very good as I expected and I will definitely go back. We love going here with my bf's parents because it's always so lively and welcoming! I will say it is loud so expect a lot of noise, but it just shows the place is busy and alive. The food is decent for what it is, you can get a decently priced steak and sides for a casual night out. Very family friendly! Walking into Texas Roadhouse, you really want to like the place. It just has a positive vibe about it. You can put yourself on a wait list for a table before you arrive. We did that - not sure it did us any good. But not too bad a wait on a Saturday night at 7 PM. Slater, our server, was at our table soon after we were seated. Vey friendly and welcoming. He answered all our questions and then brought a supply of the rolls. WOW - are they good! My wife and I shared a full slab of ribs with 2 sides (sautéed mushrooms and steak fries. He brought a side of mashed potatoes by mistake but gave them for us to try). The ribs were fall off the bone, as advertised. Unfortunately, I wasn''t crazy about the rub they use. The mushrooms were way too salty - we ended up leaving them over. And the steak fries were soggy - not a win. At the end of the meal, the manager came by to see how things went. Nice touch! So how do you rate a restaurant that is 5 stars in service, 4 stars in ambiance but only 3 stars in food? I will go back and try a different entree. If still meh, I will re-review and downgrade. I had to call to see if they even served it as it wasn't on their online menu or hidden because I didn't see it....It's not her favorite place as she finds it very nosy inside esp. when the staff starts singing loudly to the birthday guests. It was actually very busy on a Tuesday night when we went in for dinner. We didn't wait long. I did sign up on line for the waitlist that may have helped but there wasn't anyone in front of us waiting. It wasn't long before our waiter came over to greet us & get a drink order. I ordered a Tito's & soda and our waiter was good & knows how to "upsell" as he asked me if I wanted a double. I had to decline as my mother said "your driving." We ordered shortly after, not sure why I told him I needed a few more minutes because i always order the same thing when I go there...lol Mom got her prime rib, ordered it medium rare but it was more rare then medium rare, very red. See photos. I got my filet mignon medium rare which came out that way. You can tell when a piece of meat is a good cut when the knife cuts it so smoothly, which it did. I got the loaded baked potato with no bacon but the person that prepared it loaded had put some bacon in it. I told our waiter & he said "I told them only cheese" & offered to get me a new one but I declined. I got a salad prior to my meal with no egg or croutons on it. Honey mustard on the side which is delicious & very thick. Mom got chili & said it was really good. We didn't get any dessert, actually I'm not even sure if they serve it?? LOL Service was good, I forget our waiters name??? Food was good! Place was slightly noisy but it also was busy. First off, my love for Texas Roadhouse usually ends with me giving every location I end up at five stars and this was absolutely no different. I had an out of state friend visiting with a bunch of roadhouse bucks so we ended up coming to this location last night around 5 for a Texas Roadhouse feast. I'm not actually sure if my friend checked in our not, but we were seated right away and given a magical bowl of bread that lasted maybe 30 seconds which always seems to be the case. Texas Roadhouse has probably the best rolls I have ever had in my life and if there's one thing that keeps me coming to this place, it's always gonna be the delicious fluffy rolls. Mike was our server and he was on top of his game with taking orders, refilling drinks, and just being a good dude throughout the night. We started off with an appetizer of the cactus blossom which is a solid little onion blossom dish which lead into the main course of the 6oz steak with shrimp, loaded mashed potatoes, and chili. Both the loaded mashed potatoes and chili were solid side dishes that ended up coming home with me thanks to the amount of bread I consumed. The shrimp was really good and get zero complaints from me, while the 6oz steak also gets a thumbs up for having solid flavour and being cooked medium rare like I asked for. Overall, Texas Roadhouse is a king among chains and has never done me wrong. The atmosphere here is fun and filled with photos and music, the staff is always super friendly and welcoming, and the food has always been really good. Just want a simple and fun meal? We were in a quiet corner but the place was definitely lively! Birthdays are hilarious to watch as well. Now... for the food. This place knows steak. Ever since we tried Texas Roadhouse in Arizona, we have been hooked! We have been dreaming of the food. So glad to see they have them in Las Vegas. We dined in on 12/13/24. We were greeted warmly at the front and about 5 minutes later, we got seated. The best part is that as they walk you to your table, they already have delicious homemade bread and whipped butter ready for you! How amazing is that! Their homemade bread is delicious, fluffy and buttery. Live the whipped butter they give, perfect pair! We were greeted with smiles by Angela. She was friendly, efficient and provided excellent service. We ordered the cactus blossom for starter. It was fresh and so delicious. Not oily and the sauce is a perfect pair. We ordered 4 16 ounces of ribeye steaks and different sides. The loaded sweet potato is delicious! I love it so much. Reminds me so much of the holidays. The kids enjoyed their mac and cheese and mashed potatoes. We ordered a bowl of chili. I thought it had too much beans. Because t the cheese and onions made it even better. The steaks were perfectly cooked. Love the char and definitely upgrade to sautéed mushrooms and onions. I thought it was a little too salty for my taste but everyone else loved the salty flavor.
