    11oz Hand-Cut Sirloin*
    Michael P.

Fresh and delicious. Everything from the onion in the Cactus Blossom, the side salad, rolls and meat was very fresh. This location was packed too. About 1.5 hour wait time on a weekend evening so I do recommend calling ahead and get your party on the waitlist before arriving. The staff was amazing and prompt when it came to taking our order and refilling our drinks. It is rather a noisy environment so be prepared for that. Especially if there is a party celebrating a birthday. You will know because The staff will scream the announcement to the entire audience.

Walked in and sat at the bar. Bar tender attended me right away. I decided to try their 14 oz steak with Okra', sweet potatoes, and bread! Man, that steak came out nice and hot! It tasted just the way I like it! No evidence was left on my plate of its existence! The sides and bread were the right touch to satisfy my evening hungry! Very please with the bar tender's attention and speed of the food. Place has a lot of seating space for large parties to single person.

Excellent service, tasty food, and welcoming Texas ambience. This restaurant gets busy on weekends, so during the week you will enjoy a quieter, more relaxed atmosphere. If you want a well-cooked steak, Texas Roadhouse is the place to go!

My wife enjoys coming here more than I do. We came in for dinner, it's nice that you can use the Yelp app to get on a waiting list. We just live about 10-15 minutes away. So it's nice we can get on the waiting list. We got to sit down fairly quick. Place is always busy. Which is good I guess. I sometime like it when it's not too busy. The servers are more attentive, when it's not so busy. They have TV's, and you can sit at the bar, if you're interested in just watching a game. Plenty of drinks. Not a lot of craft beers to choose from, plenty of liquor drinks to order. We got the 6oz steak, I got mine medium cooked, it was okay, kinda tough, had to chew it to break it down. The veggies were good. I had loaded mashed potatoes. That said, it's just okay if you want a semi fast meal. Sometimes the wait is longer than sitting down to eat.

Texas Roadhouse is just a staple of good steaks consistently being great. With certainty I can say that I've never had a bad steak there nor a bad bread roll lol. Their drinks are good, all their food is delicious. I've always had good service. Glad there's places that will always smack no matter what.

16oz medium rare Ft. Worth ribeye. Buttered corn. Applesauce. Strawberry lemonade.

OMG I have so much to say! I had ordered a medium rare 16 oz ribeye, and when I got it, I couldn't bite into it without almost choking on the fat that was super hard to chew. The steak was so pink on the inside and was a very hard eat, due to both the Pinkness and the Fat. The texture of the meat was too very so weird and just keot changing with every bite. The server we had was absolutely amazing though, he was super nice and really chill, he brought up so many baskets of rolls and it just really made the atmosphere of the room light up. The steaks both me and my sister had ordered were both very pink, despite us ordering two different styles of how we'd like to cooked. I think that the flavor as a whole was good, it had all the qualities of a good steak, taste wise, but the only thing was that the steak was so unsettlingly pink on the inside, the whole thing on the inside was pink! My sister had ordered a 8 oz sirloin and had to give the rest to me because she had felt nauseous about how pink it was on the inside. Half of the steak was just fat and it gravely disappointed me because I was expecting something grand, I'm used to eating 12oz steaks, and this was my first time trying a 16 oz, and I am very disappointed, one, it wasnt even that big and was the equivalent to the 12oz steaks Im used to. Two, it was all just fat, only 20% of the steak was actually edible. Three, the unsettling Pinkness of the steak was even causing me to not want to eat it, and which is quite shocking to me and my family, as for I always leave not a crumb left when eating steak, as for it is my favorite food in the entire world! I would rate the steak overall a 5/10. I will not be ordering a steak from here ever again. --Coffins.

It's been awhile since we had Texas Roadhouse and I don't have one where we live so I was excited to eat here! It was pretty busy for a weeknight and we ended up waiting for about an hour to get seated. We started off with the cactus blossom and of course the rolls and both were good as usual! I love fried onions and you can't go wrong with their warm rolls with cinnamon butter. For the main, my sister and I shared a ribeye steak with loaded mashed potatoes and corn. The ribeye was cooked perfectly and it was so juicy and flavorful. The sides were standard but still tasty. Our server was friendly and everything was brought out within a decent amount of time. Texas Roadhouse is a great place for a delicious casual dinner! The place gets really busy and loud so make sure to come early if you don't want to wait too long.

As she was walking us to our table, I noticed right away the awesome ambiance of the dining area and bar area. Their menu items looked great. They have lots of Gluten Free options, so my wife was happy about that. Their food prices are pretty decent. Their lunch specials look great and prices were pretty decent. Our waitress was very friendly, polite and professional. She was very attentive also and keeps checking on us to make sure everything was OK. My wife ordered the grilled chicken salad(GF) and I ordered their lunch specials Chicken Fried Chicken plate. Our food came out pretty fast and it was hot and fresh. My wife enjoyed her salad and I thought my meal was very delicious. The chicken patty was huge, crispy and very tasty. The garlic biscuit and coleslaw looked homemade and was very delicious. The French fries were very crispy and tasty and looks like it was made from fresh cut potatoes. Overall experience was excellent. We will definitely come back here for lunch and dinner. If you're visiting San Antonio, we would highly recommend this restaurant for your friends and family.

When we arrived, however, we were told it would actually be closer to a 30 min wait, which was disappointing. We had a party of 5 and were seated at a small square table that seemed intended for 4 guests. They simply added an extra chair, leaving very little room for everyone to eat comfortably. It felt cramped and made the dining experience frustrating from the start. We ordered the Gringo queso and chips as an appetizer and that was definitely a highlight. The queso had good flavor and was enjoyable. For my meal, I ordered the Rattlesnake Pasta and unfortunately was not impressed. While it had some spice to it, the sauce itself lacked flavor. The garlic bread served alongside it was also disappointing it smelled and tasted like cardboard. Overall, I was not pleased with my experience. Between the inaccurate wait time, cramped seating, and underwhelming entrée, it wasn't a place I'd be eager to return to.

How can you relax and have a conversation with your friends or a date if you can't hear yourselves think? The service is nonexistent and that's fine because it's your basic fast food concept. Not a problem. However, the food is more industrial based than true Texas BBQ. My brisket was very dry. They slather a lot of BBQ sauce on top of your meat. Why? Because the meat is either old or dry or both. Mine was very dry. The beans were drenched in sugar. The Mac and Cheese lacked (cheese) taste. We love good BBQ. This is not good BBQ. Compare to the Burnt Bean in Sequin and you will understand. The burnt bean runs out of product leaving long lines for their food; it's real BBQ, fresh homemade food. You can taste it.
