The pineapple curry was great! The curries seem to be hit in general. Wasn't a huge fan of the Thai beef salad which is a personal favorite Thai dish. Lettuce was soggy and beef cook I like a little more rare. The pad kee mao had noodle which were all broken that even the family didn't realize it was a noodle dish. Disappointed in the pad kee mao. It's been quite some time, and my husband and I have eaten at this establishment, and now I know why. We ordered egg rolls and fried dumplings. The sauce for the egg rolls tastes like straight chili oil. Where's the fish sauce? , don't tell me they ran out of fish. We ordered two pad thai, level of hot, 4.5 and a 5. You think that would give a kick in our ass, It did nothing but overly sweet, served with raw scallion. Remember I ordered pad thai not soup. I had to ask for a bowl to dump out what they call sauce. I ate two bites and I was done. My husband, he filled half a hole. McDonald's here I come where I know it's the same every time. You know what comes next, the owner or manager came, kept apologizing when I I told her what I thought of her food. She did comp the meal and told me it's their house sauce. Ordered take out for lunch on Sunday -chicken pad Thai, Thai tea, mango sticky rice, beef green curry, dumplings, and crab Rangoon. Curry and dumplings were amazing! Pad Thai is good too, traditionally made with fish sauce which my pregnant self couldn't swing-- totally a personal problem with aversions, but made me realize the pad Thai I had two weeks ago somewhere else was likely not as authentic. Thai Hut was an amazing find! I had the red curry and my wife had the yellow curry. The chicken in the curry was thick and very flavorful. Honestly, I have never had Thai with that delicious of chicken. They also have sushi at great prices. The restaurant is very clean! It was or anniversary and we both had a tiring long day and wanted to be home soon as hubby had cowboys game to watch. Found this awesome thai restaurant and thought to give a try. I am so glad we went, it had 2 tables occupied when we reached. We were seated promptly and order was taken pretty quickly too. I ordered papaya salad and chicken satay. Loved the chicken on satay as it was juicy and fresh. Sometimes satay chicken is very chewy. Hubby had chirashi bowl, that we had no idea would be like he loved it so much that he plans to get it next time too, it's like sushi bowl with rice on the bottom and fish on top. Our server was nice and did explain what Chirashi bowl would be like, it was definitely helpful. Parking is available easily and only thing I noticed that restaurant need to pay attention to is there name sign wasn't lit outside. So we thought it might be closed but the open sign on door was ON so it cleared our doubt. If they can switch ON the name sign it will be helpful to attract more thai loving people! With so many new Thai joints opening around north Fort Worth, I would say this is one of the top contenders. Delish, mouth-watering Thai food right here! In terms of soup, I personally think the tom yum goong is the best on the menu. It is a hot and sour soup with rich flavoring from onions, coconut milk, bamboo, lime juice, lemon grass, and galangal; a very tolerable spice level for those who are very heat sensitive. The soup is very well-balanced with a nice hint of sour, sweet, and salty. I'm a noodles-type of gal. Thus, I have to pick pad see ew and pad thai over fried rice and curry. The noodle dishes come with a slice of lime for a little acidity. The pad see ew, essentially noodles mixed with broccoli and egg, was very tasty with just the right amount of soy sauce. Even though the dish was not too salty, I had to quench myself with additional water afterwards. I also had the pad thai, noodles combined with carrots, green onions, egg, peanuts and bean sprouts. Both noodle dishes had great texture that is lacking when you buy togo since the hot food in a closed container creates this moisture, resulting in a soggy surface by the time it gets to my house. Better to dine in. All of the above with thai tea equals a fantastic meal. At a glance, it's a typical family-owned business without any fancy interior decorations. The service may be a little slow for not too many diners inside. They seem to be prioritizing the togo orders and deliveries instead of focusing on the diners. Drinks were immediately served shortly after being seated. However, the food can take at least 15 minutes before coming to your table. Just a little FYI to not expect a quick in and out dining experience. They do a pretty good job with takeout if you're in a hurry. The portions were generous - you can probably get away with leftovers if you're a light eater. read more

I agree with another review that the young staff could use some polishing up. The pad kee mao looked bland at first glance but once tasted was actually quite flavorful. The tom yum goong was tasty but the papaya salad was disappointing to me. I ordered to-go the second time and again encountered a careless service. The portions were so small! (See photos) Bummer. Woah woah woah this place is awesome! Just recently opened next to WorldBlend Coffee on basswood and definitely a good location. Food: BBQ Short Ribs: Grilled perfection with a sweet savory taste. I would eat this with Somtum(Papaya Salad) and the green sauce the meat comes with is sooo good. It has the right level of spiciness. Pad Kee Mao: One of the best I've had at a restaurant in awhile.
