Ok, the main point of writing this review is to state that Sammy Jo is a boss. I stayed for about an hour on a Friday, and she single handedly worked the entire bar like a champ! Seriously, an underrated skill because this bar was bustling! Happy hour seems to be a hotspot for this place. This was my first time in, and I was surprised to learn that they offer tequila flights, and whiskey flight, but do not offer beer flights! This is surprising because this is certainly a beer joint. On the plus side they have a great selection of local brews (although not all on the menu were available), and the bartenders do a fantastic job at helping you make a selection. Also their shots menu is really unique...peanut butter pixie stick what?! Apart from the drink, I'll agree with a few of the reviews below- the food takes quite awhile, BUT if you have a minute, I recommend the pretzel & beer cheese *chefs kiss*. I'm sure it's meant to feed two or three, shared amongst friends, but this was the perfect size for a gluttonous me (love me some beer cheese)! While I personally cannot say I'm in love with the "come and take it" staff uniforms, all and all, I would recommend this place for a nice happy hour brew with the mindset that the food is a bonus.

At The Annex Crafthouse and this place never disappoints. From the customer service to the food. Everyone is friendly and accommodating and the food is not fast but it's very Texan and they use quality products and ingredients. The Annex is truly a place you can safely get away and have a great meal where the staff treats you like family.

I've been here a handful of times, the vibe is cool. Laid back...service was good each time. Our waiters never mind taking our pics so they win with us. The food was meh...fill up on drinks and it's more than acceptable lol. I've had my share of beer, wines and fun mixed drinks. Can't say the pour was heavy. They have a HH menu but I'd stay away from those cauli bites...chile, a mess! The street tacos were pretty good though. Now the vibe check is ruined cause they either didn't play music or the music to my liking. And that's sad cause my taste is quite eclectic. Definitely wasn't a loud crew, weekday or Fridays. Restrooms were clean and stocked with paper napkins. Always a winner....

It's your typical bar with decent drink and food selections. My friends and I stopped by here after spending the earlier part of the day outdoors at Paradigm Brewery a few miles down the road and we wanted to find a place where we could sit indoors while enjoying some good cocktails and delicious food. I'd never been here before nor did I have heard about this place. However, one of my friends is a fan and recommended this place so we ended up here. The bar is located inside Vintage Park so there's plenty of parking in the lot. The interior ambiance is nice with the bar smack in the center of the dining area. We sat at the booth facing the back wall. When we sat down, the table had not been cleaned yet but they quickly took care of that. Our server was friendly, but a bit on the slow side. He got pretty much all our orders right except for... drumrolls... WATER. As he was taking our drink orders, I had asked for a cup of water to cool down from the heat first. One of my friends had also asked for a cup of water along with his cocktail. Long story short, those cups of water never came until way, way, way later after we'd ordered and received our food order. And even then, when I'd asked for water again for the table, he had only brought out one for me. Now let's talk food. As a group, we had ordered the tomato basil soup and grilled cheese, herb & garlic ribeye, and Texas Cheese Steak. I personally had the cheese steak and even though it was decent, it was nothing to brag about and definitely not something that you go out of your way to get. I wouldn't mind coming back here if I were in the area. However, since this place is around 25 miles away from where I live, I doubt I will be frequenting this joint.

Drinks were delicious but felt the food was over priced for the portion size. We started with the garlic Parmesan fries but they were nothing special. The garlic aioli was all in one spot. My hubby enjoyed his cup of chili. We ordered the chicken fried chicken to split but it was not nearly enough to split.

Great spot! Nestled in the Vintage area, Annex Crafthouse offers a great spot to catch up with friends, grab dinner or even catch a game. They have a variety of indoor and outdoor seating and tvs are located all aroused so have a good view of multiple screens. They have an extensive menu and a wide variety of beers and cocktails. Be sire to scan the qr code for some rotating offerings on the beer menu. The service was great as well. I would highly recommend this location.

"Celebrating Mama Bear" 04-18-26…read more My family and I visited Cutten Kitchen together for the first time, and we absolutely loved it. My eldest sister was the one who searched for places to celebrate our mother's birthday, and she definitely picked a winner. She felt like this would have been a restaurant our mom would have truly enjoyed if she were still here on this earth, and she got it right. Let me count the reasons why Mama would have loved this restaurant: the aesthetics, the well-seasoned food, the lively vibe, the soulful energy of the atmosphere, and the wonderful customer service. Upon arrival, we were greeted by the hostess, Victoria, whose professionalism and mannerisms were spot on. She was so friendly and welcoming. She held the door open for us when we entered, and she even held it open again when we left. Our server, Daniella, matched that same level of professionalism. She was not intimidated or nervous by our group at all. She greeted us warmly, introduced herself, and took our drink and appetizer orders with ease and confidence, which let me know she knew exactly what she was doing. She also offered great drink suggestions that we really enjoyed. I do not want to bore you with a long, drawn-out review, so I'll keep this part simple. The atmosphere is welcoming, with music playing at a nice medium volume through the overhead speakers. The dining room is extremely spacious and clean. Food Ratings: Fried Catfish/Shrimp Platter - 4/5 Both were fried to perfection, with nice crunchy edges and a soft, succulent, meaty texture inside. However, it was a bit too salty for my health. Fried Fish and Grits Platter - 5/5 My younger sister said she could taste the authenticity of Black culture in the well-seasoned grits and she enjoyed them. The CK Burger - 5/5 My son said this burger was delicious, and he tore it up too! The CK Patty Melt - 5/5 My eldest sister said it was delicious and felt like it melted in her mouth with every bite. Salmon Bites Appetizer - 5/5 Fried to perfection and surprisingly not too salty. Fried Plain Wings/Lemon Pepper Wings/French Fries - 5/5 Everything was served piping hot and extra crispy. Deviled Eggs Appetizer - 5/5 Everyone around the table loved these babies. My eldest sister said she did not care too much for the fried chicken tender on top, but overall, they were still a hit. Dirty Rice - 1/5 Too salty and too greasy for my liking. It also lacked the authenticity I was hoping for. Mac and Cheese - 5/5 According to my daughter, the mac and cheese was a 5/5. However, it did have a spicy kick, so my son gave it a 4/5. If you like spicy mac and cheese, then you will probably love theirs. Collard Greens - 5/5 This item stole the show for me. The collard greens were delicious, not too salty, and seasoned just right. Here's the shocker: instead of using pork in their collards, they used turkey neck. I was genuinely impressed because a lot of people believe pork is the only way to get that deep, flavorful taste in greens, but Cutten Kitchen proved otherwise. Blueberry Lemon Drop - 5/5 This drink may seem girlie, but it hit like a man. Sitting Sideways Cocktail - 5/5 This one hits just right and gives you a nice little buzz. Pineapple Upside Down Crown - 4/5 It was a little too sweet and did not have enough liquor for me, but it was still delicious after I poured an extra shot of Crown in it. Overall, Cutten Kitchen is an upbeat, lively, and soulful establishment that offers some of the best Southern cuisine in the area. I highly recommend this place if you love authentic soul food, great customer service, and a vibrant atmosphere. FYI: Parking is plentiful, but it would probably be best to make a reservation beforehand. I have heard this place can get packed.

She was pleasant and did her best, but it took a very long time for her to take our order, and the food took an equally long time to arrive. As for the food, it was a mixed experience. The lamb chops were actually very good and were probably the highlight of the meal. However, everything else fell short. The salmon bites were disappointing, and overall the food seemed to be lacking seasoning and flavor. The cornbread was another letdown. The only sweetness came from the glaze on top--the actual cornbread itself tasted more like a plain muffin with no sweetness or flavor of its own. I ordered the breakfast sampler with grits and eggs, but the grits that were served were heavily seasoned, dark Cajun-style grits rather than the traditional white grits most people expect with a breakfast plate. When I asked about it, I was told that's the only type of grits they serve. If that's the case, there should be a disclaimer on the menu because "grits and eggs" typically implies traditional breakfast grits, not the style usually served alongside dishes like shrimp and grits or catfish and grits. My husband ordered the lamb chops and eggs, my son had the chicken and waffles, and we also shared the salmon bites and cornbread. Unfortunately, aside from the lamb chops, nothing really stood out in a positive way. Considering the amount we spent, I left disappointed. While the staff was friendly and doing their best under the circumstances, the long wait times and lack of flavor in most of the food made the experience underwhelming. I would not return.

Thus, we were literally in shock when we entered into the venue and realized that it is a SIT-DOWN RESTAURANT! I didn't think it would be fast food style like Popeye's or KFC. However, I imagined it would be along the line of Cane's, but a little more upscale. My first reaction was, "Aww man, I'm going to have to pay more for something that is already sort of pricey." I'm thinking in terms of tipping. HOWEVER, I actually had a really great time here. The menu is simple, yet unique simultaneously with monthly special burgers and Korean inspired flavors. I LOVE the fact that you can substitute the crispy chicken for GRILLED. I'm all about eating out, enjoying food, but also trying to select better options. Healthy eating doesn't mean boring! This place seems like an American/Korean fusion restaurant, or an Americanized version of Bon Chon. The vibe is really cozy, intimate, and chill. It's a great spot to casually hang out with friends or family. The wait for the chicken was long, BUT it was worth the wait. The food was hot and fresh. The Korean BBQ OG Grilled Chicken Sandwich - It was huge! Even though I am a petite 95 lb lady, I devoured that sandwich. The flavor wasn't an authentic Korean flavor, but it wasn't bad! It was more sour and salty for my taste. I think it would balance out more if there were no pickles, and a mixture of the kimchi carrot slaw + regular mayo based coleslaw. Szechuan Fries - The Szechuan mustard sauce is powerful and incredibly overwhelming. I do NOT recommend that sauce at all. I think if you order these fries, just OMIT that mustard sauce. I felt like all my sinuses cleared up and my eye balls were about to pop out. Dirty Fries - You can't go wrong with cheese fries. I am not a sour person, so I didn't enjoy the pickles on the fries. Our server, Brenna, was INCREDIBLE! She is the main reason why this review is getting a 5 star. She didn't know that it was basically our first time and she still gave us exceptional service. She was friendly, patient, and sweet. We ordered the Szechuan Fries because it was a free offer upon signing up for their rewards program. I told her I didn't like the mustard sauce and she offered to get us the Dirty Fries! I was like, "What?!" The fries were already free, so I didn't expect her to even offer a substitution. ALSO, for the Kid's Meal, she let us know that the side could be substituted for something else at no extra charge. If she didn't make that known to us, we would have had no idea. I'm glad she mentioned it because the boys LOVE mac & cheese, so that was perfect. Also, we were already getting fries, so it helped us to get more variety. All in all, the place is a little expensive, but I had a great time. The service was superb, the food was great, and I noticed that they are involved in the community. I love supporting businesses that give back. Thus, I would recommend trying this place out, even if it's just once!

Boy was I surprised to be seated by a hostess only to glance around to find a bar, enclosed patio and semi open kitchen. Did the meal itself differ from its fast casual counterparts? I love to see pie on the menu alongside shakes, and while Mac and cheese and fries are welcome, orange chicken, Korean spices, broccoli salad, collards and heavenly eggs are a welcome change of pace. Our first trip (dine in) was about a 4-5 star experience. I waiter was not the most attentive and the food took quite awhile but the experience was positive enough for me to return. The second trip was a drive thru experience and it was...not as pleasant. Our service wasn't the best, our attendant less than enthused to be doing their job. It was my birthday but I had a funeral to attend that afternoon. On this particular day, it also was raining, HORRIBLY, so I was really doubting that I would get a chance to do something later, but I decided to see how far Quotes was from the service. Depending on what time we got out, if there wasn't a repase, AND the weather giving me some grace, I would stop by for an early birthday dinner. Thankfully, Mother Nature gave me a break and let me and my Mom enjoy a nice late lunch at Quotes, which not only had delicious food but exceptional customer service. Soon as we came to the front door, it was opened for us to step inside. We were greeted and shown where we could keep our umbrellas if we felt comfortable leaving at the front door. The hostess lead us to a table and asked if the location was okay. Once more, when our servers, Diamond and Ty, came to our table for our drink orders, I was asked if we were celebrating anything. I mentioned my birthday and was later on surprised by a slice of cheesecake. I didn't have the space to even eat it because I was fat full from the food and drinks I had before dessert arrived! First off, we came at a great time because we were able to try their entrees at a discounted price. Even the drinks are discounted during the lunch hour except their signature and customer fav, the lemon drop, with good reason! The flair that it is presented to you is phenomonal, but the taste is exquisite. It was so smooth I had to slow down from drinking it. I'm usually not too big into drinking more than one drink, but it was my birthday and the drink was GOOD, so another round had to be had! I even tasted my Mom's drink to see if there was something else I should try. I ended up sticking with my Lemon drop and the second one did not disappoint. As far as the food, I did ask for suggestions on a few entrees. I ended up getting the fried catfish and grits while Mom ordered the shrimp tacos with a side of asparagus. Although Mom raved about her tacos and even stated she wish she could make them at home, the asparagus was salty to us. We did send it back and in response, Chef Trini came out personally to ensure the second make was to our liking, indicating that the blackened seasoning would be available on the side. Please tell Chef Trini that this was the best asparagus I EVER tasted. It was cooked to perfection and no seasoning what so ever needs to camofluage the fineese that Chef cooked it with. My entree was also delectable and delicious with the marriage of fried catfish and grits smoothered with creole crawfish sauce (say that three times)! I love my catfish fried hard and not salted to death. Quotes presented both and it intermingled with the grits graciously. I couldn't eat the entire entree because 1. It was a big portion and 2. We had enjoyed an appetizer, the spinach dip and cauliflower garlic bread. It is a MUST to have! We are spinach dip fans and Quotes not only has one of the best Spinach Dips I tasted in a long time, but the creativity of making cauiflower garlic bread is chef's kiss. You would not even think you were eating cauliflower. It minds me more of pita bread versus tradional thick garlic bread but the flavor is there and compliments nicely with the spinach dip. Both the appetizer and my entree not only made great evening and next day breakfast meals but tasted even better later and the next day. That's when you KNOW you've eaten some good food- it taste even better later. Even the bday cheesecake was insanely epic the next day. I can't say enough about Quotes. Great service and food as well as beautifully decorated space that truly leaves you inspired. Thank you Quotes- I will be back!

I've had a lot of friends tell me about this place, and we decided to finally try it. Let just say,…read moreI have had better food at IHOP. We set at the bar to get quick service, however the food took forever by the time we receive our food, it was very disappointed and the presentation was trash . My chicken look like it has been dip too many times and didn't taste good, the waffle was hard and dry. Plus I don't know who on grist duty in the back, but they need to be replaced because you really can't mess up grist but they did. Cajun fish was alright, but the smother in crawfish saue was more like crawfish pasta. Last but not least Cajun doesn't mean to throw a lot of season all or kanye pepper on the dish, So Please Stop. We had tortilla chip with a crawlfish cheese dip. The chips has so much season all on it that it was ridiculous.

Drinks & food were delightful in presentation and tastiness! Great place for the guys in your life; makes them feel like a kid again! We went there with the intention of the whole experience. Food and Cars…read more When we were seated our server Abby was very polite. She took our drink order and when she brought it out she had can drinks on the tray. That was the first issue. A restaurant with these prices should not bringing out cans. Come on owners and managers - do better The food was average- not much flavor on any of it of all 3 dishes we ordered. The fish was greasy, the chicken fried steak was greasy, the burger was the only thing finished. Too much money for what we were presented. I do reviews all over and I really wanted this to be a good one. The reason I am giving it 3 stars was the burger and for Abby's service. There were a couple families with kids but mainly adults. It is a smaller dining area and reservations are recommended To tour the cars it is $15 a person, so we did what most of the people in the restaurant did, took pictures from the window. I wish I could say we would come back but unless it changes and we see better reviews I don't know if we would. Good Luck to ya !!! Great concept idea for car enthusiasts
