The Lola had decent food and bottomless drinks for brunch. With our vast brunch experience, my boyfriend and I were excited upon finding good vibes at this establishment. Unfortunately, once our 90 minute brunch limit was reached, the staff started getting very aggressive. Given the ratio of people in the establishment, it felt a bit racially charged. We tried speaking with the staff after I slipped and fell on the wet floor (they put a wet floor sign out after I fell), and they were not responsive. Apparently the manager we spoke with has had quite a few problems in tbe past. I would not reccomend this place, just go into the city at this point. read more

So i visited this place yesterday March 2nd to celebrate my moms birthday. let me start by saying we were not please. the place was cold, the food was not a wow factor. my wings were cooked way to hard, the Ceasar wrap my sister had she only ate a quarter of one. drinks were very good. the service we received from our waitress was terrible she did not visit the table often at all. she was posted at the bar all night with her coworkers and barely checked on us. I had to ask the guy cleaning the table to get her and ask another waitress to get her. just terrible and to make it even worse the place was not busy at all maybe 7 full tables in the entire place. Went for New Year's Eve and had a really great time. Bouncers made the night so great for us. Really appreciate them! It was an open bar so it's hard to judge the drinks based off of that, but they were your typical bar drinks (vodka seltzer is what I drank). The vibe is very cute. I came hoping to have some good drinks and watch the game. While the hostess was wonderful and energetic the bar staff was quite the opposite. One bartender licked his fingers and then proceeded to touch bottles and serve drinks without washing his hands. When it came time to ask for the check - the bartender(s) were so busy on their phones they didn't even notice we were waiting for them (for at least 10 minutes). On top of that, the bartender didn't even notice that the drink we ordered was left practically untouched because of how disgustingly sour it was. I would have appreciated if the bartender took a moment to step away from their devices (while on the job) to check in on their patrons and ensure they are being served tasteful drinks and not packs of sour patch kids. While this looks like a cool and "happening" spot - I recommend you stay home and save your money. read more

Came for bottomless brunch on a Saturday morning. Our reservation was for 11:45 AM, some of us got there on time but some were late. The waitress straight up told us our 90 minutes was going to start from our reservation time but because it was empty we could probably extend it a little. We all did the $50 boozy brunch. We got the Steak & Eggs, French Toast, Cinnamon Roll Pancakes and Hangover Burger. My steak was good but they put a spicy sauce on top not at all anything like chimichurri sauce. My eggs were over easy but completely not cooked when I popped them open all white gunk came out. All of our food was cold, soggy fries. We asked for a side of toast and it was like we asked for something crazy out of the ordinary & $6.00 for a tiny piece of wonder bread. We also ordered a side of bacon and it was $5.00. I don't understand how bacon is less expensive than one piece of bread. Anyways before we finished eating the bus boy took our bacon away so there goes a waste of money. Without warning our waitress came back to the table to tell us our bottomless brunch was over and handed me the check. CRAZY but okay. Restaurant was empty. We could have easily just sat there, no need to keep repeating the rules, makes guests uncomfortable... To top everything off they add automatic 20% gratuity and a restaurant fee whatever that is. Came for the first time on Sunday and the music was good, place was cute. The hostess sat us down at a table quickly but no one ever came to help us until about 20-30mins later. Absolutely terrible service, then the girl who finally comes to help looks annoyed to be there. Doesn't apologize for the wait or anything just looks miserable and has a bit of an attitude. Im very angry and upset. I travelled 2.5 hours to come to the lola for my boyfriend's birthday, sat in traffic, spent weeks being excited, and hours getting ready. And my boyfriend came in and started to ask maybe when our table would be ready, and she cuts him off to give us more attitude. I paid $20 for this reservation.... Anyways, This host proceeded to take MULTIPLE shots of alcohol and chug them, at the host booth while ignoring many guests coming in that had reservations. We waited 30/45 minutes watching her twerk on all her friends and down shots/drinks, not even batting an eye at us. This was a terrible experience. To begin with, we made reservations 2 weeks ago for a group of 7. We assumed that because we made reservations, we would be sat inside the restaurant. To our surprise, it was 80 degrees and sunny today. As a result, the staff sat us outside in the direct sunlight, making for a sweaty and extremely uncomfortable experience. Our group was willing to wait for a table inside, but the hostesses and waitresses said there was no room inside. My question is, what is the point of a reservation if we still are not seated comfortably? We asked the waitresses if there were umbrellas available to shield us from the heat, but they were quite dismissive and consistently said they had nothing available to accommodate the blistering heat. As someone who suffers greatly from heat exhaustion, I found this experience to be extremely disappointing. For a table of 7 people, we were all squished together. This is unacceptable. On top of this, the waitress was not attentive to our table. We often had to flag her down to get her attention. We did not get the full "bottomless" experience of the Bad & Boozy Brunch. To add on, the waitress did not notify us of all the hidden charges that came with the brunch. We were charged an extra $18 for 2 bottles of water. The waitress did not notify us of this when we asked for water to simply stay hydrated in the heat. It's a shame we were automatically charged gratuity for an experience that was not worth it. Overall, I would not recommend this restaurant to anyone in the future as the staff was quite dismissive and the experience was unsatisfactory.
