This was the 2nd time we've had The Melt! First time we had our order delivered. This time, we enjoyed our food at the restaurant. So glad we did! The inside was clean and spacious. Enough room to see other patrons but not have to rub elbows with them. I hate I didn't get her name, but the young lady assured us with our order. She was patient and kind. My hubby got an impossible burger. And he fully enjoyed it. I had burger with provolone cheese, caramelized onions, avocados and some kind of spicy sauce. It HIT DA SPOT! The garlic fries had a lil kick to em, and the shredded Parmesan cheese elevated the flavor. 10/10 on the nom nom scale. Then, as an added bonus, one of the young ladies came by with warm, fresh baked chocolate chip cookies. The gooey melted chocolate was the cherry on top that completed the meal. I Am Obsessed! This place is so good. I can't believe how long it has taken me to find a burger place in Sacramento that I just love, but now I can't get over how much I love them. The first time I tried them, was two weeks ago, and I have had their food 4 more times since! I can't stop! I mean I can, and I have, but I keep wanting their burgers and then have to remind myself that I just shouldn't have burgers this often. I have tried all of their burgers now (I make my husband get a different burger than mine each time, and we each have half of each other's burgers that way we taste more items) everything we have tried has been amazing. I don't like the lack of veggies on the burgers, but you can add lettuce, tomatoes, and onions at no extra cost so it's been no problem at all, and I have added avocado at a little extra cost the last couple of times too. their spicy burger, the spicy mission burger is properly spicy! the mushroom burger is SO SO SO creamy, and the original melt has just the slightest little kick due to the jalapeno pickle mix. oh and I love the pickle spears! you get a pickle spear in addition to the pickle mix on your burger. I love chomping on it in between and at the end of my meal. If you haven't tried these burgers yet, I can't wait for you to try it, and I hope you'll have as good an experience as I did! read more

What could improve, everything. First we walked in nobody was seen so we used kiosks to order which was no big deal. I ordered a single and my fiancé ordered a double with bacon grilled onions. He had regular fries I had garlic fries and two drinks. $54.00. The burgers were so dry and the patty was thick. There was a thin layer where it looked like it had just sat on the flat top. For way way too long. We never seen anyone besides whe. The buzzer went off to get out meal. I was totally unimpressed and disappointed. Nothing stood out to me about the food. I will not be returning. I know so many other places that I would prefer to spend my money at. And I wouldn't mind spending $54.00 for a great burger. read more

There's an option to order with the front or you can order using their tablets on the side. After driving by this place and seeing all the positive reviews, I've been dying to try it. We stopped here on a whim after Black Friday shopping and were excited. The inside was really clean and well kept, there was enough space to walk around comfortably and avoid sitting next to another party, thankfully. There were kiosks to order by yourself which was nice because I couldn't decide on what to get. The service was nice, everyone was polite and I didn't feel like I had to rush out after eating. The portion and pricing of each item was very high. It was around $13-15 per a burger/sandwich depending on what you get. I would expect that for a meal, considering it's a burger joint, but I had high hopes that it would be worth the price. I ended up getting the spicy mission burger and some garlic fries with a fountain drink. I spent around $23 for my meal. I'm not a big fan of smash burgers, but I do love a good burger. However, this one was bland. There was no flavor to it and even the fries were bland. The only thing I honestly enjoyed was the pickle. Definitely would come back if I was ever in the area and there was nothing else open. read more
