Unfortunately, the pizza wasn't what I was looking for and not worth my $40 but I bought it so must eat it (wasn't horrible). The pizza wasn't cheesy (not even a cheese pull) and barely any sauce. My family loves this pizza. The service is amazing. I placed an online order and accidentally ordered a cheese pizza instead of pepperoni. And even though it was my fault, they still made me a pepperoni pizza at no extra charge! And they were so nice about it! Definitely try the garlic knots! They are a big hit with my son and husband. We have had dinner here two nights in a row because mama just doesn't feel like cooking ! Last night we got pizza and , mozzarella sticks 10/10 the pepperoni is super flavorful and has a spicy aftertaste the kids still tore it up . Tonight we got chicken tenders , a triple burger , and Philly cheese steak 10/10 my only complaint is the ranch is not thick at all but it's that home made ranch . The service is really amazing as well because let me tell you it took me 2x longer than it should have to order due to my screaming toddler in the background and me trying to focus and talk over him homegirl who took my order was more than professional and patient the entire time I didn't get those hurry up and order vibes at all anyways this is a new favorite of ours I'll definitely be ordering again soon ! read more

Been meaning to stop by this place for a long time and today was the day. Started with some garlic knots and they were delicious. Perfectly soft, buttery, and garlicky. Then our pizza arrived and when they saya large they mean​ LARGE! The pizza was perfectly cooked and delicious. We sat outside and soaked up the beautiful weather. The courteous young girl who took our order inside periodically checked on us to ensure we were well taken care of. While sitting outside we got to enjoy the delicious smells coming from the smoker and meet Brian, the owner. He was kind enough to let us have a sample of the brisket he was cooking and let me tell you, it was fantastic. Sad we waited this long to stop by this hidden gem on the boulevard. Stopped by on business trip. Service from waitress (Lynn, I believe) was fantastic. She was friendly, helpful, and just a pleasure to talk to. She recommended a pizza special (that saved us some money!) and the pizza was delicious. She spoke highly of their garlic knots and even brought us a few to sample. We were stuffed but had to try them and they were delicious. Ambiance is nothing special, but it's quaint and servicable. First thing, this establishment is not related to the Pizza Box in Portsmouth. That said, we really enjoyed the pizza. The place has an old school pizza joint vibe with no frills. It has a small menu, but the choice of toppings is plentiful, including feta, sun dried tomatoes, anchovies, spinach etc. while we didn't try the white pizza, it's nice they offer it. The plain cheese pizza we ordered has a good crust without being greasy underneath. The crust stayed crisp throughout dinner. The quality of cheese was good and the sauce was tasty. The real star of dinner was the garlic knots. They were reminiscent of Primo's when they first opened in 1990, (if you had them back then, you know what I'm talking about!). The knots were crispy on the outside and soft and chewy on the inside. The marinara sauce was delicious as well, not the crap other places serve. Let me confess, I am a bonafide pizza snob, Pizza score 4 out of 5 for crust, 4 out of 5 for cheese, 5 out of 5 for sauce. Garlic knots 5 out of 5. Service was awesome as they checked on us often. I just found my new go to place for pizza. I was greeted by a very friendly staff. I ordered fried pickles and a large "Island BBQ" specialty pizza. It consisted of ham, bacon, perfectly sized pineapples, red onions, and a drizzle of bbq sauce. The pizza was HUGE! 20 inches to be exact. It tasted amazing! It was the perfect amount of sweet and savory. The crust was perfect! They also had other really interesting choices for specialty pizzas that I definitely will have to try next time.
