The person who took our order was rude and abrupt. I had the classic meatloaf and gobbler meatloaf never came was a Lou with peperchino. Had to wait another 20 min for the entire order

Lots of pastries and treats here. I got the blueberry scone and it was yummy. I prefer scones a bit denser but this was pretty good. The coffee I got wasn't great though and it was cold. Other than that not bad place to get a treat but you could skip it.

Their Seattle sourdough is pretty good. It was a nice rectangular loaf that's nice and sour! The French sourdough is less sour and a lot softer. Both loaves were reasonably priced which made me happy. Customer service was alright and it took a while for someone to get to the window to take my order. I'd like to go back for different bread and try some of their baked goods.

Was food hopping around and decided to stop by and try Three Girls Bakery bc we saw it on food network. We tried the spinach and I think feta croissant. The croissant was so warm. I took a bite and the croissant was so flaky and warm. The croissant would flake and melt in my mouth and wasn't dry. The warm spinach and feta filling was to die for. It was a good balance of cheese and spinach and the right ratio to the croissant as well. Definitely will be back to try more.

Came by to grab a couple of pastries before walking around Pike Place Market on a Sunday morning and tried the almond bear claw and the sugar palmier cookie. The almond bear claw was super yummy, with a nice almond paste filling and reminded me of a good almond croissant except in danish form. Loved that they can heat it up so it tastes more fresh. The sugar palmier cookie was good as well with a nice crunch! I had hoped to try one of their savory filled croissants but they were out by the time we got there around 11am so come early!

Classic Bakes for a Quick Bite! Plenty of delicious options baked fresh daily. It's to-go only, perfect for strolling through Pike Place Market or enjoying during a break while people-watching. Located just off the first right turn from the main entrance on First Avenue. Reasonably priced for the area: -Classic Palmier Cinnamon $3: A bit sweet for me, but I appreciated the flaky, buttery layers. -Raspberry Nest Coconut $4: Loved that the coconut wasn't overly sweet, but couldn't really taste any raspberry jam. A solid stop for classic baked goods made fresh. Quick service.

My husband and I watch a lot of videos on YouTube before visiting a city we've never been to. We saw this place on a video and wanted to try it out. We shared the "ballard" cold sandwich. The sandwich was good, but the rosemary garlic bread was delicious. We sat at the bar, and it was fun watching the servers make the sandwiches right in front of us.

Sadly they served me a day old pastry here. The pain au chocolat was chewy and cool from being refrigerated overnight. Very little chocolat in the pain au chocolat. Skip here and find another place for pastry.

We stop here in our way to a cruise and the bread caught my eye because I'm a baker and I wanted to try something different. The place didn't disappoint. It was nice clean . We received the bread through the window, the girls were very nice and her service was A+ . We tasted the sourdough bread. It was pretty good a little bit different from mine, but the store has a lot of other different things to try on so I will recommend this 100%

Their window displays with shelves of diverse pastries and breads is a glorious sight among the many wonders in Pike Place. I ordered the honey walnut rugelach and a chocolate croissant. Both had flaky, buttery layers, but that croissant was something seriously special. It was loaded with quality chocolate. I would love to visit again and try more things!

They have multiple vegan options, all marked, which is fabulous! Their bread is very good too. Would definitely come back! Server was efficient and didn't handle my bread with their hands and also washed their hands after taking a cash payment before I checked out. This is a pick up window only so nowhere to sit and very busy/loud as it's part of the sanitary market but it's easy to see what they have and what they've run out of. Sandwich window is in the back.

Famous bakery located in Pike Place Market, and a must visit if you like women owned businesses. It actually has an interesting history about it. Three Girls was the first licensed woman owned business in Seattle. Also it's the oldest continuously operating business in the market. You can get classic baked goods and pastries. Basically a lot of family owned businesses are in the market including this bakery. It was opened in 1912. This was owned by women at a time it was hard for women to be business owners. Over the years it has changed in ownership, but still has had the same classic baked goods. The Levy family has owned it since 1979, and has served favorites including their famous meatloaf sandwich. A few vegan options to get. It's about $4 to get a palmier. These come in a few flavors including cinnamon and sugar. Classic bakery with lots of favorites along with a few newer items. It's located along Pike Place. There's baked goods like loaves, as well as pastries like cookies, some of which are okay for vegans.

Amazing breads and desserts. I have a sister that lives in Seattle. Whenever I visit, I shop at Pike Place for provisions to make dinner while there (I'm a Chef in San Diego). Three Girls Bakery is on my short list of must-have staples for dinner. It's counter service, so after waiting in a short line I give the person at the register my order for bread and a few dessert bars, and they are in my hands and paid for very speedily. Because they are adjacent to the big market, the ambience is a little "hustle and bustle", but the service and the breads are top-notch! I visit my sister twice a year, and never miss an opportunity to buy bread at Three Sisters while there. Their amazing breads accompany all my dinners that I make while visiting, and I'm always sure to take a loaf or two home with me to San Diego for later.

tl;dr the juicy Caribbean pork sandwiches at this revived Seattle mini-chain live up to the…read morelegendary hype Un Bien is arguably Seattle's most popular sandwich joint, and its dramatic history begins with Cuban chef Lorenzo Lorenzo and his initial shop, Paseo. Lorenzo opened Paseo in 1994, where his popular Cuban roast pork sandwiches were regarded as among the best in the country. After years of local expansion, Paseo abruptly filed for bankruptcy in 2014. The brand was subsequently bought out by a local entrepreneur, but the sale did not include Paseo's secret recipes (the reboot attempted to reverse engineer the sandwiches with varying success). So, in 2015, Lorenzo's sons revived Paseo under a new name, Un Bien, armed with their father's original recipes. Nowadays, Un Bien is generally regarded as superior to Paseo, and you can grab their Caribbean sandos at one of the three locations across Seattle. You can't miss the pastel pink-and-teal palette of the original shack on an otherwise drab block of Ballard. As you approach the wooden window, you are greeted by the aroma of sauteed meats and veggies. Communal laquered wood benches are lined up underneath a covered pergola. Fifties hits ring respectfully around the kitchen. My partner and I visited for late weekday lunch, and we ordered immediately. We opted to focus on the signature pork shoulder, so we split the #1 Caribbean Roast and #2 The Press. Across both sandwiches, we were impressed by the tender pork, rich onions, lemon-forward aioli, and marinade-soaked baguette. The standard roast pork sandwich added on pickled jalapenos and crisp romaine, culminating in a dynamic flavor that accentuated the meat. Meanwhile, The Press featured tart banana peppers, smoked ham, and melty Swiss, amping up the sweet and savory flavors alike; we agreed that this extra-messy sandwich just edged out the standard version. Our order took just minutes to be prepared, and the bill just topped $30. Despite the fanfare, I still found myself surprised by just how satisfying Un Bien's sandwiches turned out to be. Across all the food I ate in Seattle, only these pork sandwiches would be worth a return visit, even if I had to venture out of my way.

Messy, pricey, totally overrated…read more My family and I visited Un Bien and arrived approximately 45 minutes before closing. We ordered promptly, but were told we would only have about 10 minutes to use the seating area before it closed. When we asked for clarification because the restaurant was advertised as being open until 9:00 PM, staff confirmed they were open until then but said the seating area would close earlier anyway. After receiving our food, we were told not to sit down and were asked to leave the seating area altogether. The interaction felt abrupt and discourteous, especially given that we had arrived well before closing and had purchased food with the expectation that we could eat on-site. The food itself was average, but the poor customer service and inconsistent messaging about seating left a much stronger impression than the meal. There are other better places. Skip.

Finally moved back and got to try it. I've had my eyes on the Fast Eddie ever since I heard about this place because it was one of the most recommended sandwiches. The ambiance was alright. Pretty dark imo but maybe because it was just after Christmas and they had their holiday decor up. Also the bar area was closed. I was a bit confused on where to order until I realized there were kiosks by the front counter. It would've been nice if one of the workers actually had said something to me. Anyway, onto the food. I got the Fast Eddie with fries and it was alright. The meat was bit dry. Yes there was the au jus to dip in and it helped quite a bit, but all the flavors just didn't mesh. It was basically an ordinary french dip. The fries were okay, but the jalapeno aioli was great! That made everything better, but not enough to save the sandwich. Not sure if I would come back, but I would definitely try a different sandwich. One that caters more to my taste buds

Located in the Seattle Center Armory, along with many other food vendors, Big Mike's Sandwich Company is serving up huge cheesesteaks, chopped cheese, and other East Coast-style subs. For $25, I picked up the cheesesteak and fries combo. Not a terrible price for the portion. Waited about 10-15 minutes for the sandwich to come out. You order on a tablet here, and then they call your name. It's a small storefront, so you really have to stay nearby to hear your name being called in the large space that is the Armory. Not much interaction with staff. Plenty of seating throughout the Armory, though shared with other restaurants. The food came out piping hot. Obviously, they cook everything fresh to order because the inside of the fries was like lava. The fries were thick-cut and seasoned to perfection. The sandwich was good. I thought some pieces of the steak were a bit tough, and the roll seemed a bit over-steamed or possibly stale. A good sandwich and decent portion, nonetheless. I'm still going 5 stars here. I think Big Mike's is a great choice if you want a hearty, meat-filled sandwich and you happen to be in the area. However, I think you could be happy with another dining option in the Armory, too. My kids loved the MOD Pizza nearby. While there isn't anything wildly unique going on at Big Mike's, they are still pushing out great sandwiches at reasonable prices with a no-frills ordering process.

The meatball sub was hearty and comforting, while the eggplant sub had a rich marinara sauce that worked well with the sandwich. We were especially disappointed that the Cubano was sold out, as it was one of the main reasons we stopped by. The only drawback was the price--at around $20 per sandwich, it felt a bit expensive for what you get, especially considering it was just a 6-inch sub, even though the quality was good. We visited during a FIFA World Cup match, so the line was quite long, but it moved steadily and efficiently. No complaints there. The atmosphere is casual and straightforward, with indoor seating only. Its downtown location near the stadiums makes it a convenient spot for a quick meal before or after an event.
