Paid $19 for a "spa pedi". I think it only took her about 20 mins . I'm not used to paying that low for a pedi but I just really wanted a color change. They came out okay. I just wished she would of put a little more effort when she gave me a massage. I would of given her the $5 tip she wanted . The only rude part about this experience was when I asked her to break a $20 into some change . She handed me back a ten and two five dollar bills . Like already telling me she wanted the $5 . Been getting my manicures and pedicures done here lately because they don't seem to do a horrible job, then again it is a hit or miss depending who I get and how busy it is. I thought i should recommend my friend here since its an average walk in nail salon and my friend was looking for a new nail salon anyways because the person who did her nails previously had moved away. We walked in and were greeted kindly by the manager. She asked us what we wanted done, and there were about 4-5 people already getting manicures or pedicures so i thought "oh boy...might get our nails rushed today." I just got a french tip pedicure with a little flower design on the toe because i thought "they can't mess up a simple french tip" which the women did a very good job and she was super nice about it! Now... for my friend she just got her nail polish on her toe changed with an art design, not so hard. It came out looking really nice! the design on the toe was a black and white ribbon, i believe Miss Lisa was the one who drew it and she did a very nice job :] On to the nails... My friend needed a full set because her previous set had already started peeling off she told me the lady who did her nails, Lori, rushed and patted on the acrylic powder unevenly so one nail would be bulkier than the other, okay you might think it sounds picky but lets be real it would bother some of us. My friend tried telling her that some of the acrylic was unevenly and the lady just replied with "oh don't worry i'll just file it down later to make it even" she filed it alright, filed it so much and even made my friends nail shorter than she wanted it to be. After i was done with my pedicure i sat next to my friend and watched her paint the gel onto my friends nails. She would miss the sides of the nails and that irked me so much. it was like someone erasing a white board and leaving a small mark afterwards! Ugh. Now the polish between the nail fold and the actually nail should be easy to paint right? I mean you just paint the nail and it should look rounded, NOPE looked like a blob. That irked me even MORE, i was upset for her especially with the amount she paid for her nail to look like the shape of a blob($17 for Toenails painted + $50 for Fill + Gel *not including tip*). Then after everything was "done" my friend told her that a piece of the acrylic broke off, the lady took a file and filed it down and said "oh this is just the sparkle" after we got into the car she showed me, it was definitely NOT the sparkle, the acrylic did break off. It was too late to go back because we were already on the road i told her to call them and maybe they'll have us come back tomorrow to fix it or something because i know of other nail salons who fix it for their customers if its their doing. Here comes the funny part, my friend called her and they spoke in Vietnamese my friend told her "Hello i was just at your nail salon and the lady who did my nails did not do a very good job. She seemed to have rushed it, the sides of my nails aren't painted because she missed the sides. The nail itself is uneven and the acrylic that was just put on the edge has chipped off. When i came in i asked you, the manager, to pick someone to do my nails carefully and not in a rushing way. This was not what i wanted, the color is nice the acrylic and polish however was put on poorly." this is where i started laughing the manager replied with "Well... what do you mean by doing your nails carefully? She did the best job she could and she can't be any more careful than that, as for the chipped nail well are you sure its chipped? She said it was the sparkle on the nail polish but if it is chipped you can bring it back and i can fix it for you, but she did her best. Beauty is in the eye of the beholder, I don't know how much MORE careful we can be doing your nails." My friend replied with "Its okay, well i just wanted to let you know that, but this will be my first and last time here, thank you." I just thought oh my goodness, when you get your nails done you want the person doing your nails to listen to exactly what you want, i mean you're paying good money for this! and to have the manager say that to a customer really showed that they did not value my friend one bit. Even to tell us Beauty is within the eye of the beholder??? THAT WAS JUST HILARIOUS. Yes it is within the eye of the beholder but we pay good money to have our nails done and for them to look nice, not pay good money to have them look like a child did it then tell everyone "hey i know they look bad but, beauty is within the eye of the beholder guys." After hearing them through speaker phone talk to my friend like that, it definitely shows they don't value their customer's thoughts and complaints, which they should if they want to improve their customer service and business. Got a pedicure here and they did a good job. Also, reasonably priced ($19 for a spa pedicure when down the street a spa pedicure prices at $25). Nail polish selection is okay. I only get OPI since it's better quality and lasts longer, but there were some of the cheappie kind of polishes which I think wear off / chip faster. read more

Been coming to this place and usually their pretty decent, but they get into these rush modes that i do not appreciate. Nails aren't cheap and for them to rush and do a sloppy job is very upsetting. What is even worse they expect you to pay full price for their mistakes. I also believe i was even charged extra; their sign says $18 for a fill and they ended up charging me $22 for the fill. Love this place. It's always a hit or miss though. I've had my fair shares of uh ohs and yays. I never get the same person, and it sucks that they don't offer scrubs here. Maybe I'm just so used to Elaine's deluxe services. I used to come here all the time and thought I would save $5. It's really dirty here. They dropped my towel on the floor twice and left it there and began to use it on me. The tools used I saw them wash them in the sink... WHERES THE SANITIZER BUCKET?! My nails were cut horribly and jagged. I have to grow out my toes again to go get a proper pedicure. And the foot/leg massage was a nightmare. Worst experience ever! Took my daughter for her first set of acrylic nails for her 12th birthday. That is all she wanted! Worst service and completely overcharged! I can't believe there are not more reviews for this place because it's always packed the few times I've been in there! I really enjoy visiting this nail salon. They're very thorough and clean. I've gone to Cindy twice now, the first time I did regular color that lasted FOREVER and this last time I went back to gel and I am so happy with my nails. Cindy is fun, she does great work with acrylic. The last time I got my nails done they lasted 4 weeks and looked great, this is insane to me since my nails grow so fast. I always go with my friend and she isn't as particular about who does her nails but she's been to two different people and she's always loved hers as well. I've been going to Tip Top Nails consistently since 2013. I love this salon and have always had top service from the ladies working here. I know most of their large staff of technicians, and I honestly have zero complaints about the great quality of their manicures and pedicures. I nearly always get gel manicures now, but in the past have done normal lacquer and also acrylic nails with them. I have had other businesses do my nails when I was away from Vegas, traveling, but have usually been disappointed that their service didn't meet the high standards that Tip Top Nails has ALWAYS Provided to me. I've been to this nail salon a few times they do the worst job on nails the person that did my pedi made my toe bleed she didn't even say sorry. They charge extra for every little thing plus they are as rude as can be if you try and tell them how you want your nails done. Horrible!!!! The lady mocked and made fun of the fact my nails so short she told me $22 for a full-set. She then at the end charged me $33 she did terrible work my nails were bulky fat, misshapen and the gel was messed up she did not fix it. (I didn't notice) until I left the shop. So I tipped $5.00. I looked down at my receipt later on they overcharged me. So I called the owner lied on the phone and said it's $55 for a full-set when I corrected her told her I was just there, she hung up on me. I went back and at first they refused to give me my money, I had to threaten them with the better business bureau they gave me change. The lady next to me was also ripped off!!! Ask for Kevin I know right!? A guy?!! Well, I've been to several nail salons and this guy (being new to the place) had that gently touch and very precise detail into perfecting the customers preferable look as to their nails. He had good time management and didn't Hurt my fingers throughout the whole process (actually, just one boo boo, but because of the outcome, I could hardly care less) He doesn't engage into conversation but when you ask him questions or fix something you want done on your nails, he would happily do as you request and respond politely. As for the look of the place, it had a descent look and had plenty of operational tables and spa pedicure chairs. The only thing I noticed that stand out different from other nail salons, is their nail drying machine. It's like a automatic fan dryer that turns on once you place your hands in, like those hand dryers commonly seen in bathrooms, but this one, made for nail salons. (tip: dry nails at least for 20mins) Overall, I do love the work that they provide on getting a full set of nails, and I can't wait to get a pedicure (special for $18.99) I finally found my spot since moving here from Cali three months ago :D P.S. Okay I went in for a pedi/fullset..the nail tech talked me into getting a gel mani which i never had before.. pedi was GREAT..but 2 days later the gel starting peeling off my nails. I went back in and told them the issue, the lady didn't believe that i had gotten a gel mani so recently so the lady who originally did the gel mani was there and I asked her did she remember me which she did so finally the lady repolished my 3 nails and then put on a top coat. I told her that the lady who originally did the mani never put a top coat on, which is why the mani didn't last i guess. Due to the covid-19 pandemic, I called to schedule an appointment for a pedicure . I called on a Tuesday and scheduled the appointment for the next Friday. During the telephone conversation, the technician asked that I arrive a few minutes early and wear a mask. I did just that, showed up early and was prepared with my mask. I knocked on the door, was greeted by a technician who asked if I had an appointment and I did so "yes" was my response. I was asked to pick a color and did. A few minutes later another technician came by and said that I wasn't on the books and accused me of calling the wrong location and that I needed to leave because I did not have an appointment. I asked if the location was 4011 S Buffalo and she said yes. She continued to tell me that I did not call to schedule an appointment. I asked what the phone number was and proceeded to show her (from my phone history) that I indeed called and scheduled my appointment. She would not accept that, would not take me nor let me schedule an appointment directly with her. I've been going here for a long time and the quality depends totally on how busy they are...if it's busy you might not get great service. I've had amazing manicures, pedicures, and gel done there...and they usually last a long time. (My pedi is in week 5 right now and my toes still look awesome!) I've also had some that were rushed and looked sub par when I left the shop. After that she did a horrible pedicure , did not scrub the bottom of my feet properly and when massaging my calves put zero effort into it . I have been coming here for 8 years. I have always had terrific customer service and feel wonderful after my pedicures and manicures. Huge gel polish selection. Staff is always very polite and attentive. I see many other regular customers as well. Very reasonably priced. Staff is always ready to do polish as you like and try hard to always give you exactly what you want. I will only go Tip Top for pedicures as the salon is very clean and I feel confident I will not get infections as can be the case in salons not as well maintained as Tip Top. I have recommended this salon many many times. Great location in Spring Valley at Flamingo and Buffalo. I've been coming to this place for many years but, I'm convinced after two disappointing visits I will not be returning. The manicurists are always in a hurry and never take time to do a good job. They have a very limited collection of nail polish. It's gotten to the point where I'm convinced they're so focused on moving people out of the shop they're not paying attention to their work at all because it looks terrible. First time I went, I had an appointment and I still had to wait half an hour. The second time I went I noticed they had a really poor low-quality color selection when I finally decided on a nude color upon application it came out really purple. And unfortunately they have nothing to say about it when I told them but that's not the color that was on the color wheel, all Linda had to say was oh they changed it. I was still forced pay for a clear gel polish manicure even after I did it want it.
