This is our go to breakfast spot whenever we have family or friends in town. The food is delicious and the service is great. I recommend getting on the wait list and watching it carefully. When it is a long wait, people drop off and it moves quicker than anticipated. We were looking for a place to eat for a while on our recent trip to Colorado. We tried to visit other places but their wait was 1 -1.5 Hours ! Toast made it easy to get a table since they had an online check in to speed things up. Parking is very limited, so we had to park a bit of a walk down the street. When we got to the restaurant, we still had to wait a little bit, but it wasn't horrible. It was snowing outside, so we had to stand in the hallway between the 2 dining areas. All the drawing were entertaining to look at while we waited to be seated. The food portions are HUGE, there was no way we could finish them. The side of pancakes was 2 large plate sized cakes!!! Stopped for first time. Was told the chorizo breakfast burrito was popular so I ordered it. It was mainly tortilla, less that two tablespoons of dry chorizo inside. Asked for extra green chile since the burrito was so dry. Received a cup of dark brown "green chili" with a gelatinous sheen on top. I had never even heard of this place before, but found it thanks to Yelp! I'm a big fan at this point, having visited at least 4 times. Their benedict options are incredible! My go-to is just a normal benedict, but last time I tried the eggs black stone. Oh my god, was it incredible! I'll never go back to the normal benedict now. Their french toast options are also amazing!! The bourbon praline is my favorite so far, but I need to try all of them. The staff was nice, and the gravy was excellent. Everything else was terrible. The pancakes are unsweetened and really dry, with sour peaches (or other fruit), and no syrup. They were very leathery too. We were laughing about not being able to cut them with a fork. The flavored coffee and hot chocolate was unreasonably sweet. Instead of enormous leather pancakes, they should make them smaller and not charge for sides. $13 for unsweetened sour fruit cakes, no sides included. Massive portions! I am literally rolling out of this place. Of course, I did order two meals, but no one's judging! I couldn't decide between the Eggs Benedict and the Pancake Sampler, so I got both. I asked to have the ham steak with my Benedict instead of the prosciutto. I tend to like it thicker, if you know what I mean. The prosciutto is also good but definitely thin. The portions were massive and definitely delicious. The ham in the Benedict was so good. I would probably come back just for that, but gotta remember to substitute the ham steak. The service was great. Our server, Whitney, was awesome. She was friendly and offered suggestions on the menu. I'm glad I went with her suggestion of the Benedict. The restaurant is huge! I went here sometime in August and all I can say is WOW! I am a huge brunch person, and a bit of a coffee snob, and this place exceeded my expectations. When I first walked in, I was a bit overwhelmed by the entrance- which gave me more of a diner feel. Cool space, but not what we came for. We were then led to a back dining area, through a hallway of "toast" (), and it was much more intimate. I had the black and white coffee and the chicken biscuit with gravy. My daughter had the largest plate of kids chocolate chip pancakes we had ever seen. Just as important as the delicious food, the customer service was phenomenal!! I think our servers name was Dave and he was such a pleasure to meet. Overall, this is a great occasional breakfast spot (only because portions are so huge). Walked in on a Tuesday morning and was seated right away by a friendly server. Their parking lot is small, but there are also plenty of street parking. I wanted to try this place once I saw they have pancake and French toast flights! Like whaaaat?? My hubby ordered the gravy pancakes (sounds weird but so good), brother ordered French toast and a Benedict, and I got the French toast flight and the crab cake Benedict. Omg every was soooo good! We all ordered the chai latte, but it wasn't as creamy as I was hoping it would be. It was more watered down. Great service too! I was seated almost immediately, and waited about 30 seconds before my waiter brought me a water and took my order: coffee and a flight of french toast. It felt like 3 minutes after that when the plate was placed in front of me. Probably because I was dining alone. The 4 flavors were good. Banana walnut was probably my favorite. It is a lot of food. 4 thick cut french toast, toppings on each, whip cream, and syrup if you want it. I could barely eat half of each flavor. The coffee was good, but I'm not a coffee expert. My waiter also did something I wish more waiters would do. He left me alone. I was able to eat and be on my phone without interruption or feeling rushed. I ordered simple eggs medium with sausage and hash browns with a slice of French toast. The hash browns were huge but no flavor and were burnt and as they cooled they became very tough to chew, so weird. The sausage links were very dry and too spicy for my taste. The eggs were lukewarm. The toast had no butter and was not asked if I wanted jam or anything. The slice of French Toast was really good. I liked the bread they used and it had a very tasty batter.
