Heard of Tommy's pizza & stayed in a nearby hotel so felt it was a great opportunity to check it out. Many customers seemed to purchase pizzas so perhaps that would be a great choice. Tried lasagna and chicken Parmesan. Both had Abundant portions! Garlic bread and cheesy garlic bread were warm. Difficult to judge customer service but online ordering was easy and the pick up process was easy,

Visiting Columbus for a conference, staying downtown. Too tired after the event ended on Friday to leave the hotel. Found Tommy's in a list of best Columbus style pizza, and they were one of the few options that offered delivery (ended up being via DoorDash). Was worried about reviews we found here after ordering, but ended up very happy. From order to arrival at hotel took around 45 minutes (had been estimated to be up to 70 minute wait). Pizza was still warm when it arrived, and it was delicious. Love the flaky thin crust. Toppings were plentiful. Lightly sauced (if you prefer more sauce, add extra when you build your pizza order). We're crust dippers, so we added on a side of bleu cheese. Not sure if they make it in house or if it's a local brand, but it was one of the best bleu cheese dressings I've had. Glad we found Tommy's and gave it a try. Definitely recommend giving them a try when you're in town.

    Tommy's Steak Sandwich (8 Oz)

Decided to try a family owned business tonight, came into an unwelcoming environment, no other customers, no music, half closed dining area, and dust covered decor. The waiter was extremely friendly and professional, however, the cooks were not. Coming back and forth from the kitchen joking about smoking crack.. An obvious joke but in combination with all following, worth the mention. Our app came out first(cheddar cheeseballs), was pretty good! Then shortly after, I got my italian sub. Bread was really overcooked, and very little meat, but for $5 wasn't the worst. Not something I would ever come back for. 15 minutes later, my boyfriend's steak sandwich came out. We were joking about how they must be in the back burning it (after my sandwich had been so overdone, and it was taking so long to bring out) but we couldn't have expected what he got. What came out was nothing better than a cafeteria hamburger, putting it lightly. It was so dry that it was literally fibrous. I spoke with the waiter and he generously agreed to comp the sandwich, but the front desk lady was not so accommodating. She loudly exclaimed about how they aren't gonna comp unless we gave back the sandwich, all yours!! Then she proceeded to loudly discuss how it didn't make sense with the cooks. So disappointed, as we were looking to try something new and local to Columbus, and were very let down by Tommy's. Will not be back.

    Tommy's thievery

Did you know Tommy's likes to steal? They're actually criminals!! How fun?! I ordered a quart of blue cheese. When they gave it to me I knew it was light but they assured me it was a quart, when I measured it at home it was less than a half quart. I called them to tell them about the mistake and they hung up on me and stopped answering. When I went to the store I asked them for either a refund or a full quart of blue cheese. They refused to give me a refund and said that's that's their quart container. I didn't order a quart container with however much blue cheese they decide to give me. I ordered a quart of blue cheese and paid 13.50 for it. I left their employees 1.50 tip FOR BLUE CHEESE. And they pull this. Classless and criminal

I hate driving far to a place, picking up food, get home to find it overcooked and poor Quality. For a refund they expect me to drive another 45 minutes to get my $18+tip back in rush hour.. gas prices etc... and I grabbed it in my LUNCH BREAK MEMO, cook food like the customer is THERE, STOP BURNING IT, KNOWING IT IS MEDIOCRE and still giving to customer. Not okay. Will dispute with bank to save the trip.

Today was my second time trying Tommy's Pizza and I reallyyyyy wanted to love it, but I thought it was just okay. When I called to order they said they no longer have appetizers which stinks because their mozzarella balls which I've had in the past were so good - hopefully they put those back on the menu. I ordered my pizza well done, but it felt a little undercooked and doughy. I wish there was more sauce, too, and it was way too salty. BUT, on a major positive note, they were very generous with their toppings. Overall, I thought it was a bit disappointing.

We…read morespent over $80 on a to-go order that included two Gina's Gem, a big cheese pizza, and a salad. The pizza arrived cold but was still edible. Unfortunately, the Gina's Gem was nothing like what was advertised. I was expecting warm, crusty bread with a roasted cheese dip on the side so you could tear pieces of bread and dip them into the cheese. Instead, the cheese had already been spread directly onto the bread and toasted together. Because of that, the bread lost the texture you would expect--it wasn't crusty or dippable at all. It ended up soft, almost soggy, and the cheese was baked onto the bread rather than being a dip. The whole appeal of the dish was supposed to be the warm bread with the roasted cheese to dip into, and that part was completely missing. Included with the bread was a hot honey that missed the mark on being "hot" and some kind of jam. These options just made everything even more soft....which should have been impossible. The salad was actually the best part of the meal - even though it was a bit spicy. I've always had good experiences here in the past, so this was a big letdown--especially for the price. I just wish the to-go version of the dish matched how it's described, or that expectations were set correctly when ordering. Unfortunately, this experience made me lose all trust in ordering from here again. I can't believe we waited until exactly 3pm (when they opened) to order this.... At the very least the pizza should have been hot.

The sandwich was honestly the highlight of the meal. It was delicious, and the pizza dough as the bread was such a unique touch that you really don't find at many Italian sandwich spots around Columbus. The pizza itself was just okay. As you can see from the picture, the toppings weren't distributed very evenly, so some slices had mostly sauce with barely any cheese while others had way more toppings and cheese but less sauce. I also wish the pizza had been cooked a little longer overall because it was pretty floppy and doughy. One thing that makes it tough is that once the movie starts, it's hard to go back and ask for changes or anything since the theater is packed and getting in and out of the seats feels disruptive. We'll definitely be back to Grandview Theater because we love the experience overall, but next time I'll probably stick to the sandwiches and popcorn and skip the pizza.

The kind of spot where you expect a solid beer and maybe some decent bar food. What you don't expect? One of the best Detroit-style pizzas of your life hiding behind a window in the back like some carb-based speakeasy. And when I say hidden, I mean hidden. No flashy signage. No "best pizza in town" ego. Just a quiet little window cranking out square pies that deserve a standing ovation. I ordered the classic red top -- already a bold move -- and added pesto because balance matters and I like to live a little. The result? Beyond reproach. Fresh, loaded toppings. Sauce with depth. And that crust... that beautiful Detroit crust. Crispy edges with that caramelized cheese halo, but still chewy and pillowy inside. The textural contrast is what separates amateurs from legends -- and this? This was legend-level execution. Easily top 3 Detroit-style pizzas I've had. And that's not a casual statement. If you don't understand the life-altering power of true Detroit-style pizza, I regret to inform you... you have not been living. Go find the window in the back. Trust me.

When I arrived around 10pm on a Sunday night, the place looked like it was in transition to closing (chairs flipped over on tables, no patrons, staff members watching TV in empty booths). I took her advice and was also able to add up to three toppings at no additional charge (mushroom, olive and sausage). I took a seat and waited about 10 minutes for my personal 10" pie, which came out hot and with a friendly, "Thank You, Sweetie." I ran the pie back to my hotel and opened up the box. The pie looked amazing. Perfectly crispy outer crust, six cheeses and garlic, along with my toppings. The pie was pretty damn good, with steam coming off the top. The six-cheese blend was interesting, with the dominant flavors being American and Cheddar. The sausage, olives and mushrooms were all fresh and plentiful. Definitely a good option to satisfy my hunger for a late night pizza in Downtown Columbus.

It didnt take long at all which was a plus, also. However I took a start off because neither of the employees (both men) weren't very friendly. I don't ever expect much, but I expect the minimum beyond getting my order correct. With that said, here's what we got and what we think! Veggie samosas: 11/10. Holy moly these are the absolute best samosas I've ever had. They outshone the very good pizza. I'd eat 50 of them! Seriously I will go for the samosas alone. They're big, perfectly fried, and filled with the best mashed veg filling, very reminiscent of mashed potatoes. The spicy dipping sauce was like a branston pickle (a spicy vinegary sauce). Half and half Paneer Makhani/Butter Chicken (regular spice level) with a side of Tandoori Ranch sauce: Solid pizza in every way. We both liked the Paneer Makhani a touch more. Neither was spicy at all - next time I will bump up the spice. I loved how chewy the dough is! I get why people say it is a bit on the unsaucy side because it is.
