Haven't been here in over 12 years maybe all I remember is good things. I don't think I'm ever gonna come back. I'm sorry it's just not what it used to be. I heard my peach cobbler get microwaved and when I got home, I was grossed out by it just the way it looked didn't look pleasant. I just threw it all away. Waste of money for me

Toma should be a bigger deal than it is. I've went here 3 times, and am finally writing a review. I've got something different all 3 times and it was all solid. Is it the best bbq? No. But it is HUGE portions, at a solid price, with great service and a very large menu. Where else can you get solid bbq, burgers, hot dogs, good catfish in Chandler? I actually got 3 meals out of the catfish dinner. It's simply huge! Those beans are insanely tasty too.

Incredible food. We have loved everything we have tried so far ! the buffalo wings are Incredible. The burgers are so so good! The pulled pork sandwich is mouth watering! To make it even better the desserts at the end ! They are all great but The key lime pie is my favorite and so delicious it tastes homemade! The employees also are all great people and give us amazing service every time we go in. The restaurants ambiance is BBQ and vintage style I love all the coke signs they have on the walls and it feels like a home cooked meal every time you get served. So good and will be back for sure soon!!

At least they don't hide their napkins

Adam and Kevin, Thank you guys!!! On my way from an event decided to stop here as it, didn't appear to be busy which I wanted food quickly and to go. It was super fast service!!! It's a Family establishment in which Adam gave me the history of the establishment in 2.2 seconds! That Kid is going places in life!!! I had the rib tips, Mac n cheese with baked beans(recommended by Adam) which also came with a bun. All of it was good! The ribs fell off of the bones and were way better without the sauce. I wasn't a fan of the BBQ sauce as it was vinegary but the food was good without it! I definitely recommend eating here. There's lots of free parking, a great location and has plenty of seating inside. The prices are comparable to any BBQ establishment so nothing to crazy but, is pretty standard for today's restaurants since covid. My only advice would be to wear mask and gloves to protect yourselves and the customers regardless of vaccinations.

Fried catfish, fries, hush puppies, and corn bread.

Simple store layout. Food was very good and portions were sizeable. Best cornbread I have ever had as was so moist.

I didn't think much of it at first, but then I watched the owner heat the pastrami in the microwave before assembling the sandwich. I've never had a deli sandwich prepared that way right in front of me, and it was disappointing. She also pulled out a large bag of Taylor Farms shredded lettuce. I asked for no lettuce, and she joked that "people don't want lettuce anymore." Given the recent news surrounding Taylor Farms, that comment didn't exactly inspire confidence. What really surprised me was that the pastrami was placed in a plastic basket and microwaved. Whether or not it's considered safe, seeing food heated that way wasn't very appetizing. Looking around, there also didn't appear to be any real kitchen equipment for preparing hot sandwiches beyond a microwave. A Blackstone griddle or even a quality countertop oven would have inspired much more confidence in the food, especially considering the owner's Yelp responses emphasizing the quality of their sandwiches. From what I experienced, the preparation didn't match those claims. In the end, we ordered just one pastrami sandwich and one beer, and the total came to about $25, with the sandwich alone costing over $17. For that price, I expected much better ingredients and preparation. Unfortunately, the quality didn't match the cost. We tried to be as nice as possible but we left feeling pretty disappointed and couldn't wait to get out of there.

You order at the counter and they'll bring your food out to you. There is a bakery case with yummy-looking cookies and brownies, and a cooler with bottled sodas, although there is a drink fountain. The staff here some to please. I asked about the new chicken though sandwich, and they explained how it was marinated and smoked, and said if I didn't like it to come back up and they'll give me the brisket sandwich, c which was what I originally ordered. We ordered the pulled pork sandwich and the chicken thigh sandwich. Both came served with a delicious slaw and a pickle. They were both yummy, with a great smokey flavor. We also ordered a brownie, which was humongous!

Everything else was terrible. And please note by my reviews that I'm an easy grader. Went with my uncle for lunch. We each had the three meat plate. I chose fattier brisket, pastrami and ribs plus two sides. This came out to ~$36 each. Total bill for the two of us was over $100 by adding drink, cookie, tax and tip. My uncle got kielbasa, brisket and pastrami. Our guess is that the food is brought in sealed and they microwave or use some similar reheat method and do no "cooking" there. All of my meats were beyond dry. It's really hard to convey how dry. The ribs were the biggest terror point since not only was it as tough as leather but it tasted like it was doused in iodized salt. My uncle's plate was not any better. The kielbasa was sliced and overcooked so badly that the sliced edges were burnt and frayed - you've got to really try hard to screw up preserved sausage. I could only do a few bites and threw it all in the trash. They were getting busy and I was not going to stand back in line with trays of food to broach the problems. They make sure to ask for a tip at time of order but there's no service for quality control. My uncle texted me later in the day: "Today's restaurant was such an awful choice for BarBQ. I can't remember when I had worse. We have to go to a real good one next time." It is crazy how bad this lunch experience was and a rarity that Yelps score misses the mark so badly.

I see a lot of uncles, aunts, grandmas and grandpas hanging out on the patio, especially on weekends! It's adorable!! The first time I went on a weekend and the patio was full and bussin'!! Today I stopped by after work and the patio wasn't as full, but there was a good size group gathered outside. The sandwiches here are so damn tasty, and you have to give them credit for making their own bread daily. You can taste the difference and you're never gonna get stale bread here, no sir!! They also offer a wide variety of Asian goods such as Vietnamese coffee you can make at home, spam, pastries, and a variety of chips you can't find in a regular grocery store. The prices for these banh mi sandwiches are very reasonable. One sandwich costs around $9. You can cut it in half and split it into 2 which is a deal! They make mine without jalapeños which is exactly how I like it. They forgot and put some in one of my sandwiches tonight, but no biggie. I just picked them off, lol. The dining room is large, but I have never dined in. I will eventually! The variety is enough for you to stand there a good while and ponder on what you want. My fatty self has ordered 2 sandwiches each time with a drink, and I'll probably keep that going! I also like that they offer smoothies, milk teas and other drinks you can add toppings to. You already know what I got! ;) The employees are always friendly and patient when I have questions. I'm glad I live nearby so if I get a craving, I don't have to drive an hour like I used to have to back home in CA!! I'll be coming here often for sure. I ordered a small banana coffee which came out to ~$7. Although my order number was 10 behind the one that was being called, my drink was ready within a minute or two. I was expecting more of a cold foam but it is straight up banana PUDDING lol. So of course banana pudding on Vietnamese coffee is delicious! It mixed well; no clumps.
