Stayed in the Moxy during the snowmageddeon for a hockey game. Strolled to this restaurant to evade bundling up and going in the snow. Was met with a smiling staff, hot coffee and amazing sweet potato pancakes. The cinnamon whipped cream was truely the best I've ever tasted. The paleo bowl and breakfast tacos were very filling!

Clearly a popular place in Short North, went for a slightly early dinner and ended up with a very decent salad, loaded with nuts alongside the steak I ordered it with. Inside is loud with plenty of tables and bar space, outside is a long and very sunny patio on the street, service is attentive. However minus one star as the hostess seated me in full sun and didn't seem to care, I know I could have asked to be moved - virtually every other table was empty - but instead I opted to finish my salad and go elsewhere for more food.

Came back for the Thai peanut bowl but on the weekends they do a "brunch" menu until 3 pm. So couldn't get the bowl but still enjoyed the brunch! Check out the chicken and cinnamon roll!! The egg which was delicious with little crispy hash browns in it. The wagyu steak and eggs was phenomenal BUT very small amount of steak The Cinnabon latte was delicious. There was a Ohio state game and the place was packed Can't wait to be back

During my trip to Columbus I was looking for a spot to grab some good food and watch sports. I stumbled upon TownHall and I'm lucky I did because this restaurant is amazing! My friend and I arrived on a Wednesday night around 8:30pm and were seated immediately. It wasn't packed when we came in but it did get busier as the night went on. The ambiance was very nice and lively. There were people hanging out, having a good time, eating, drinking at the bar and watching sports on the TVs. I love the interior and decor as well. There was wood everywhere and it felt very rustic. Our server was super nice, friendly and helpful. It was our first time and she was able to walk us through the menu to help us make our decisions and answered any questions we had. We helped us get started with a few of their cocktails which were great. We ordered their keto chicken wings to start as well. For the main course, we ordered their Wagyu steak with shrimp and sushi. Their steak was mouthwatering and cooked to a perfect medium rare. Each bite was very good. Their sashimi and sushi rolls were very delectable and really fresh in my opinion. We also ordered a fresh pressed juice and smoothie because our minds were blown seeing a dinner spot and somewhat of a sports bar have juices & smoothies for us to order at night. It was very cool. We ended the meal with their butter cake and skillet cookie with ice cream. Both were very decadent and sweet. Their butter cake is a popular dessert amongst their customers and I can see why. It tasted amazing and I'm glad I was able to indulge in it. Overall, my first experience at TownHall was fantastic and I'm glad I found out about it. I'm looking forward to visiting again the next time I'm in Columbus. Every food and drink item we tried was splendid, the customer service was amazing and I just really liked the vibe of the restaurant while I was there.

Good experience at this TownHall. Cool and relaxed vibe. Servers were friendly and patient with explaining the menu items. Very diverse draft line and selection of beers. Good cocktails. Emory tempura shrimp sushi was pretty good. My wife had the grilled cheese and tomato soup. She loved it especially the way it was cult in slices. I had the burger and shake special. The burger was made perfectly and had great flavor. Fries were delicious and the shake was great. Ample seating with bars, tables, and booths with outdoor options as well. This place definitely fills up so if you just want dinner, don't come too late.

I came in longing to rate this place five stars due to its amazing organic, GMO free, and carefully planned menu which caters to diet restrictions. However, the food was just not great. I tried to steak bites which I ordered medium rare and they came out extremely well done and the rest of the dish was somewhat flavorless with little to no seasoning. My kids had the kids cheeseburgers and fries and did not like them, which is unheard of. They like everything. The wine selection was well thought out and good in their genre. The service was somewhat aggressive and made me feel extremely rushed. We will probably not return. We were there on St Paddy's Day.

Was in town for a work conference and was staying at the Moxy upstairs. Myself and my coworkers decided to stop here before we headed back to our rooms for a nightcap. It's located directly beneath The Moxy, so it was the perfect spot. It was pretty poppin in here honestly for a Monday night. Inside here is pretty big, and we even came in the next day, too, but just briefly. It definitely seems like a cool spot to hang out at. A bar slash restaurant slash coffee spot slash whatever! It's definitely kind of a chameleon type of spot which is really cool! I ordered an espresso martini to end my night with and it was delish. The server came over and took our order and she did a good job taking care of us for sure. I wish we were in town longer at this spot, because I definitely would have liked to eat here, too.

Loved it loved it loved it! I was staying at the Moxy and, since they don't have a restaurant or room service, I made my way down to this establishment connected to it. I'm so glad I did. They have a lot of healthier options but don't skip on the flavor one bit. I tried the Nashville chicken sandwich and truffle fries and both were delicious and well seasoned. I also tried the sweet potato skins and the keto wings with chimichurri rub on it. The wings coating was a bit grainy but good nonetheless. And lastly I tried Korean bbq flatbread and it was to die for! I only ate a slice in the restaurant and put the rest in my hotel refrigerator. The next morning it was just as good cold as it was hot the night before. I devoured it in record time! Townhall is a true gem and the Moxy are lucky it's a part of the building!

My husband and I were pleasantly surprised by the food and music playlist at TownHall. Our waitress recommended the Lobster of Fire sushi roll and the Pumpkin Ale (#12). I enjoyed my meal at TownHall and first time and atmosphere is eclectic for with unique wood tables around the restaurant. Server Mia was great and took great care of my friend and I. My friend had the Keto Chicken Fingers with Sweet Potato Fries and I had the Korean BBQ Flatbread that both delicious and yummy. It is one of the few places that you can take your dog or animal in the restaurant. I never had Keto until now and it was delicious. I will be going back to TownHall again soon trying more things. First time at our CBUS location, I've been to the Cleveland one before and loved it! I got the grilled cheese bars & they were SO good. I loved the sourdough they used. The tomato soup is the best I've had at any restaurant. The Brussels sprouts were very flavorful & soft. My BF got the grass fed cheeseburger with the truffle fries and he loved it as well. There was so many different things I wanted to try so I will definitely be back to explore the menu! read more

I have only had drinks at Townhall, never food, so today was the day I ventured to their brunch. On a Sunday at noon, this place was packed. Definitely a vibrant scene with lots going on. Luckily we had a reservation, which I would recommend. We started off with an apple cider mimosa and the 'heaven or Las Vegas' drink. Both drinks were great. We were pretty hungry, so we created our own appetizer by each ordering a biscuit and side of gravy. These were awesome! Seriously so good. I know they don't do brunch apps, but doing a biscuit skillet for a group to share would be so great! For our entrees, we had the huevos rancheros, and the chicken and cinnamon roll dish. Wow. These were both almost too pretty to eat. The chicken had a great crunch in the breading, and paired nicely with the cinnamon roll. The cinnamon roll had both syrup and frosting, and was HUGE! We took half home. The skillet was my favorite dish of the day. The cheese that was on top was great to dip with the naan. The dish itself was very flavorful, and overall amazing. To end the meal, we ordered their butter cake. This seemed like the dessert in which they were most popular for. The butter cake was so hot, buttery, and sweet. It was great with the berries on top and the melted ice cream. I was VERY impressed with my experience at Townhall, and my boyfriend and I decided it will be our new brunch spot. Our waitresses were Erin E & Lily. They were attentive the whole time there, while working in a busy space. Erin explained the whole menu to us, as well as gave us her recommendations. I will definitely be back! Townhall is great for a big girl group or bringing out of towners for brunch !! read more

I am a college student living in Columbus and if there's one place I'd recommend to anyone visiting, I always mention TownHall. Service is always impeccable, servers are all very knowledgable about the menu and any drink/food specials. They even give recommendations for each section of the menu, making it super easy to choose an item. TownHall has endless options and substitutions for gluten-free, keto, and paleo diets, which is greatly appreciated, coming from someone whose family has several dietary restrictions. I can always being my Mom to TownHall even though her diet is very limited. The place checks all the boxes, as it is very family-friendly by day, but remains one of the best nightlife options in the evenings for a night out with friends. TownHall is always hosing events and having special themed nights, and is always up-to date on sports and trends. Can't recommend this place enough, it's a must-visit for anyone looking to experience the best that Short North has to offer! read more

Stopped in for cocktails early one OSU football Saturday well before the game later that night. Great space, open and inviting. We sat at the bar, my daughter and I tried a few local IPAs, my wife and daughter enjoyed a few of the different specialty drinks. Service was good, bartenders offered samples of the 20 different beers on tap as needed. Breakfast/brunch menu looks good as well. Plenty of TVs for watching the games if you're interested. Nine out of 10 for a pregame/game watching experience. read more

While we no longer use Uber Eats due to terrible service from Uber eats in December 2023, but TownHall restaurant is my favorite place to order for delivery - and if I could eat this daily I would! I love their grass-fed burger which I dip in the chimichurri sauce and the fries the burger comes with are amazing! I also love the kids chicken fried rice, best fried rice flavor I'm always looking for and I can never find! The chicken is really tender and juicy too! The mushroom jalapeno beef bone broth is LIFESAVING and the spiciness level is perfect! The small side of avocado is the perfect amount for dipping fries or putting some on the burger. TownHall is truly one of the best places on earth. Starting with the customer service, upon walking in you are immediately greeted with a smile along with "Welcome to TownHall". The servers always make sure to ask if it's my first time in and are helpful with making recommendations and pointing out new menu items to try. Along with the fantastic service the meals never disappoint. The presentation matches the taste - which is perfect every time. I love starting off with the buffalo chicken wraps for a light flavorful intro into the meal. The Green Goddess is my go to drink, very refreshing and pairs well with most main courses. If I'm swinging by the cafe I gravitate towards the Golden Turmeric drink. The Bangkok Bazaar and Quesabirria Tacos are my fav for the main course and I always make sure to grab a tub of broth on the way out. The energy and atmosphere is always positive and I love seeing familiar, friendly faces. Late nights include a DJ on the weekend which turns the restaurant into a fun social time to bring friends and meet new people. Truly a Short North staple when visiting Columbus! read more

I went to TownHall in Columbus today for the first time as an event for Beauty Boost and it was great. I'm not sure if they normally do this but we did a wine tasting with Adam, the bar manager who is super great. The coolest thing about their wine menu is that he personally picked it and picked based on what is popular. Highly recommend trying their wine, also can't buy most of it at a grocery store. It's exclusively wine for a restaurant, amazing. We ate there after and I got the cauliflower lettuce wraps which HIGHLY RECOMMEND, sooo good. They come out with two sauces, and other topics and combined. My favorite. For my main dish, I got the grilled cheese and tomato soup which had some kind of peppers in it. I just love Townhall. The restaurant is very modern, health conscious, and aesthetically pleasing. I always have a great experience when I go here to eat, and even at night when it turns into a bar. I usually get the spicy tai peanut bowl, and it's delicious every time. My family and I also got chips, salsa, and guac to share. The wait staff is always attentive. Townhall is slightly pricey, but worth it. read more

I've been to TownHall during various hours and there is usually a wait. I have to tell you that the wait for brunch is well worth it. The cornflake chicken and cinnamon roll was delicious. We also really enjoyed the toast with goat cheese. The huevos rancheros were really good, but tasted more like Italian sausage than chorizo. Eggs were cooked perfectly. I would still order again, but it's not what I was expecting. The banana pancake latte was great, but tasted more cinnamon-y to me. There was about a 30 minute wait for brunch. Just be sure not to go too far, you'll have 5 minutes to get to the table with your entire party or you'll have to wait again. I also enjoy their fresh squeezed juice, spicy broccoli, fries, and their boozy shakes. read more

This was our first time ordering from Townhall. We got our order through DoorDash and it arrived hot. We both got the grass fed cheeseburger. Everything about these burgers is perfect. Well worth the money. The fries were really special with everything they season them with. I ordered this for us as a surprise to my husband and he loved the burger and especially liked the sauce and the thin slices of onion. Or order came exactly how I picked it. This place is a dietary needs heaven! I generally eat paleo and going here I feel like I get to eat healthy without sacrificing! Everything is delicious and they can also make a lot of dishes that aren't necessarily catered for a certain lifestyle, still work. Also, they're drinks are delicious and the staff is always friendly. Warning- it can get a little loud the later at night you go because it turns into a bar. Okay I've been to Townhall in the past but this was one of my best experiences yet. First off, the honeybun latte was one of the best coffee drinks ever. It was sweet but not too sweet, I would've had 6 if I wasn't worried about caffeine overload! Next up, the chicken sandwich was absolutely delicious and the sweet potato fries were wonderful. Between courses, staff might stop by for a quit chat before moving on to the next pressing matter. My wife had a coconut, lime, and guava concoction and I had some else that was sweet and fruity and tart. My wife loved her actual seafood, but my vegetarian replacement was a miss. They served it with a piece of baby eggplant that was nearly raw; crunchy and practically inedible. When my girlfriend had a chance to taste her food, Kendall dropped by to say, "I think we have the best mashed potatoes in the city, what do you think of them?" Blatantly blowing off the fact that my girlfriend's steak was obviously screwed up, and my food had sat for over 15 minutes at the table before hers arrived. As my girlfriend was nearing the end of her food, Kendall stopped by again to add that "We're powering through it." What an odd thing to say to someone who's eating what was clearly a subpar, unsatisfactory plate of food, especially with Kendall being very aware that it was my girlfriend's birthday! I've never in my life been treated in such a passive-aggressive, unapologetic way by a server. Neither of us are one to complain or be rude in a restaurant, both of us having worked in restaurants for years. The cafe is AMAZING because if you are super hungry and don't want to wait for a table on a Saturday night you can go right up to the cafe and order food and drinks which is so convenient and amazing! Except you should definitely have a sit down experience because the servers are incredible and make sure there is something to eat for everyone and the food comes out SO FAST! I genuinely love Townhall, the plethora of options they have for any type of diet, allergy, or even preference is unseen. I personally haven't eaten meat in over 4 years and have difficulty finding placing that have new options for me, but I was kindly explained the menu by our server who took pride in their healthy options as well. Once our server personally told me her favorite vegan options, she made the decision very easy for me, in which I ordered and absolutely loved. The ambiance isn't transactiona it's more of a conversation and pleasure to the people serving you. I can say this is the first bar/restaurant I've been to where I left feeling GOOD about what I had put into my body, rather than just hopeful that It was clean food. My friend and I went to Townhall almost every single time we go out for the past 8 or so months since we could safely go out again and even before covid. We love the Earl Grey tea shots. It's been part of our ritual to always go here and then go to Union next-door and that's how we start our evening. A couple weeks ago we were turned away because of a dress code violation my friend had. No idea there was even a dress code. I can understand that this was the reason we weren't let in ibut that does not excuse the rudeness and condisending bouncer at the door. Even when told that we had been there MANY times and this was the first time we had ever been been carded at the door the bouncer, who said he was the "head bouncer", was mean and dismissive. We stopped into TownHall last week while we were in town visiting my daughter at OSU. Cannot say enough good things about the food and the service! We ordered two shareables - both amazing! And Jordan made sure to bring us more chips when we were out. I had a flatbread that was perfect, one guest had the Thai Peanut Bowl and the other had the Hot Chicken Sandwich. Both raved about how good the food tasted and how big the portions were. Jordan answered the many questions we had - as we've only been in for brunch at the Cleveland location. The food is clean being organic and without GMOs. They have a little bit of everything. The food and drinks taste fresh and always delicious. As soon as we walked in, we were greeted by the most enthusiastic staff and it was such a great, upbeat environment to be with your friends. Town hall is an experience like no other. By offering a wide variety of non GMO organic foods. They also took time to perfect their craft by meeting with local Columbus businesses to provide business with Columbus locals by partnering with them in their restaurant, Which I loved. Another thing as someone with vegan friends I enjoyed how flexible they are with their menu. My friends did not feel that they were restricted back to a small portion the menu and were able to order normally. Town hall is a place for all ages and everyone is welcome. I've been coming to this restaurant since they first opened almost two years ago and it is still one of my favorite places in Columbus. The food is incredible and their allergy/dietary accommodations (gluten free, dairy free, paleo, keto, etc) are above and beyond. There is something for everyone there. Although the food, cocktails, and wine are some of the best in Columbus, my favorite part about Townhall is the environment. There is always an event to be a part of (sip and paint, puppy pictures with santa, a pop up shop, etc) and the staff is constantly going above and beyond for the guests. The buffalo cauliflower lettuce wraps are one of my favorites to start with, so delicious! They are so health conscious and so accommodating to all allergies and dietary restrictions! I wasn't sure what to expect when I stumbled upon this place. It was busy and crowded. I entered at the end with the juice bar which had a lot of healthy super food smoothies and potions. Once we got to the actual sit down area service was prompt and professional. Our server was young but extremely knowledgeable and ready with recommendations every time I asked. This was my first time going to this restaurant. I was really excited to try this place out because a lot of friends had recommended it to me and have only said good things about the place. However, I was horrified when the employee at the door became confrontational to a friend of mine and told him that "They didn't allow sagging". He did not make this request to any of the other guests who came in and specifically targeted my friend who was black. I could not speak more highly of a restraunt. I normally don't write reviews but this establishment went above and beyond for myself and my family. Muktiple of my family members and I mare gluten free and we have been dreading going out because we have been told something was gluten free before that was not.
