Y'all can go to a outhouse, some of y'all belong in the big house.... I'm gonna try the... Treehouse. Yes Treehouse Thai located in that neighborhood that nobody that lives here knows what to call except for traffic and traffic blvd. Yes, my son was now starting a new Jiu Jitsu class, and this happens to be right next door. Came in on a Wednesday at 5 and I was seated right away, ambiance is decent, basic. Upon grazing the menu is decided to go with their dinner time special, I went with Cashew Chicken that came with a wonton soup which was fantastic, tasty clear broth with a couple of nice wontons. I also ordered the chicken satay, very basic with the peanut sauce, but it was delicious. Service was decent, I will definitely come back and try another dish, servers are attentive and friendly, food was decent, yes.... I think I'll climb into the treehouse once more time.

I would give zero stars if I could. My family has been coming to this establishment for years, and until today, we have always had wonderful experiences. The owner and manager have consistently been kind, welcoming, and accommodating to our family. I am the mother of four daughters, all age six and under. My three-year-old daughter has Trisomy 21 (Down syndrome) and, because of her disability, has significant food restrictions. She will only eat certain foods, which is why we have always brought her a Happy Meal while the rest of our family ordered and ate food from the restaurant. This has never been an issue before and has always been allowed by the owner and manager. Today, however, our experience was completely different. Our server, Peter, immediately told us that my daughter was not allowed to eat her Happy Meal because "the owner does not allow it." He said the only way we could stay was if the rest of us purchased and ate the restaurant's food, and then my daughter could eat her meal outside after we finished. He made these comments while my three-year-old daughter was sitting there holding her Happy Meal. His tone was rude, dismissive, and condescending throughout the interaction. My young daughters were confused and upset, asking why their sister was being told she had to eat outside or why we had to leave. It was heartbreaking to try to explain a situation that should never have happened. What made this even more upsetting is that the owner and manager have always shown compassion and understanding toward our daughter's disability and dietary needs. They have accommodated us without issue on many previous visits. This made Peter's treatment of our family feel especially humiliating and discriminatory. After leaving, I returned to ask to speak with the owner or manager. Peter told me they were "in Thailand" and would be gone "indefinitely," leaving me with no opportunity to address what had happened. No family should be made to feel unwelcome because they are trying to accommodate a child's disability. We have supported this establishment for years, and to be treated this way was deeply disappointing and hurtful. Unfortunately, after this experience, we will not be returning.

Tonight I wanted to treat myself to some Delicious pineapple fried rice! This rice is so flavorful, and has raisins, and cashews in it. I love the curry flavor of the rice, and the pineapples take it to another level of delicious if you haven't yet tried this amazing rice, please order it!

This Thai restaurant is hard to get to. Parking lot is completely full. You have to take the narrow stairs to get to the front door. Good news is there's plenty of empty tables to choose from. However, the service is slow. I ordered their shrimp papaya salad for $15.00. I got tired of waiting so I went to the front counter and asked to have my order to go. That's when I realized I got overcharged, seeing my receipt price was $16.00. Oh well.

This was a pretty good Thai place. I had the green curry and it was very delicious. I got their lunch special so it was pretty good deal: comes with a drink, wonton soup, and a meal of your choice based on what they've listed. Service was great, the servers were really nice and accommodating. There wasn't a whole lot of people so the ambience was pretty quiet. I recommend going there.

Can simply never get over this place. Every time people visit us from out of town, we bring them here. This is the best, most adorable, and flavorful Thai around. Attentive service and a nice open seating ambiance a calming decor. I have never had a bad bite of food here.

I was craving soup and ended up here for Mother's Day, it did not disappoint. I got myself seafood soup to share with my hubby. My son wanted pho and they had some. My husband got one of the curry combos and he liked it too. We also ordered beef pad see ew and a sampler appetizer platter. We got too much food and took a lot home to eat the next day. It was our second time here and I'm sure we will be back. The service was fast, location is clean and friendly with plenty of seating and parking in the front and back.

I should've taken a picture of the actual food but forgot, there's plenty of pictures here though of the pad see ew - it was dynamite! Got with beef and the meat so unbelievably soft, like melt in your mouth. I honestly would not expect that from Thai take-out but I was taught today. Loved this dish, hit the spot, good ratio of noodles, to meat, to veggies. Everything tasted fresh, was bright and well cooked. The noodles were perfectly soft and there was egg in there too. The flavors were on point, thoroughly enjoyed this dish. Lasted two rounds which was great, although I eat small portions. I like the lunch combo they offer, it's $3 cheaper and doesn't come with thai tea. The egg roll and soup are a nice addition. I liked the roll and the sweet sauce which truth be told I ended up using on the noodles cause it was a little too spicy for me. I can never comprehend the level of spice in Thai food. I chose a 2/6 and it was still not mild in my books. So a 1/6 or 0 for me I guess. The soup was ok, I'd like 3 out of 5, it was tangy, kind of like tom yum and a bit powdery at the bottom. I didn't care for the large chunks of very crunchy cabbage. Maybe if I ate it the same night it would've been more enjoyable (although the cabbage would've been the same) but perhaps it doesn't reheat as good. Everything else was 5/5 for taste, delivery and presentation. Used GrubHub and it was delivered right on time. Would eat here again, either takeout or dining in.

Have been coming to this for a while now when looking for a go-to Thai spot on the West side~ for now this has been it! Always plenty of seating and the staff is so lovely. Really love coming here for there combo plates that are offered during lunch and dinner! I usually get their pad see ew (and oh boy do they do their spicy right) and it comes with an egg roll, wonton soup, and your choice of beverage. Whenever I'm in need of a cozy Thai food spot- I come here without a doubt! Parking is a bit limited in the lot but I usually find a spot!

Super cute inside and more spacious than you think. It wasn't busy on Friday early evening and we were greeted and seated immediately. It was my first time but my friend has been a few times. She loves the yellow curry and I ordered the teriyaki chicken combo (comes with choice of rice, egg role, wonton soup, and a drink) and under $20! My food come out quick and was delicious, even my left overs were yummy. I'll definitely try something new next time.

This is on my must visit again list for the next trip. Food was awesome, good price, great service. I don't know what more you can ask for! Got the spicy eggplant with chicken, omg it was spicyyy! Really great Thai restaurant in Culver City. There are so many choices in the area but this is my favorite that I've tried so far. It's a small but really place on Venice Blvd ok the second floor of the strip mall. Been here 3-4 times and have never been disappointed with the service or the food. They have great lunch menus as well and Happy Hour special even in the weekends. The food here is really tasty and the portions are adequate. The staff is always friendly and they come by an refill your drinks before you even have to mention it. The parking lot is kinda of small, but for the area it's great to even have a lot and there is additional street parking here. Overall it's a great restaurant to come others. Some of my favorite dishes include the Panang curry (which I would have loved the beef to have been cooked much longer to become more tender but was still good), the pad Thai and the pad see ew. Definitely a place worth coming back to. read more

Ordered vegan curry and they sent it with chicken. They most definitely should be more careful in an environment with so many allergies. And they have a false name on postmates "thai vegan" giving the impression that the whole restaurant is vegan. Just be careful. read more

Went to order 2 rice noodle seafood soups and a chow mein. Once we got home and dipped the soup in a bowl we noticed they didn't have all the seafood it had to have from what it was described in the ingredients. It was missing the fish and shrimp. I was upset bcz how can you forget 2 basic ingredients. The fish was the main reason I had wanted the soup. I called the restaurant and the lady who had taken the order answered. When I explained to her what happened, she told me to hold on, and when she came back she just said if I can go back to get the fish and shrimp. No apology or anything, and she was rude when I told her for what reason I would go back. Hoping she would say a free plate or refund of some sort for the inconvenience. I'm never going back. They lost a customer. read more

In the mood for Thai garlic pepper chicken ever since the restaurant we used to go to had closed down. That dish isn't always available at Thai restaurants which is what prompted a look up for it at places nearby followed by Yelp review searches that led us to have dinner at TreeHouse Thai (we've driven by it thousands of times in the past). Immediately seeing it as an a la carte item among the other delectable variety of choices, we also saw the dinner combos that had that item as a choice and it did not disappoint, it was absolutely delicious! Not to mention the other items that came with the combo. The tasty wonton soup was served hot at just the right temperature, then there was the crispy egg roll, yum! There was also the choice of 3 types of rice with the combo; my wife had the plain steamed white rice and I was torn between the brown or egg fried rice, I chose the latter. Then for the entree she had the garlic pepper chicken while I had the basil chicken, both hit spot on with their flavors and portion. Throughout our meal we enjoyed the Thai iced tea which made for another reason why the combo option was a good one. To end it there was a slice of orange waiting on our plates, it's a nice touch having it pre-peeled easy to just bite right into. We had such a great experience of food and service we're looking forward to coming back for their other menu selections, one in particular is to try their Pad Woon Sen glass noodles that's also a favorite we've had at other places. But one thing certain now is TreeHouse Thai is our new place to go for garlic pepper chicken. read more

pretty bland and horrifically cheap (in quality, not really cost) thai food. I ordered thai iced tea and an appetizer and was planning on taking an entree to go for dinner later but decided against it after eating the app. Service was nice and thai iced tea was good. i will not be back and will actively avoid going here in the future, there is just too much other good food in LA! read more

This place is bar none the best Thai within the general vicinity. I don't understand why the place across the street has so many reviews when Treehouse offers superior flavors and better prices. Equipped with a vegetarian menu as well as a standard menu, there are several delicious options accommodating any dietary needs. Some personal favorites are the pineapple fried rice and the yellow curry. But everything from the wontons to the Rad Nar is going to leave you stuffed, satiated, and smiling :) read more

Food is not great. I asked for spicy but it was fairly bland and I didn't find it flavorful. The delivery was exceptional which is why I'm giving it 3 stars. I live in a hard to find location and my delivery guy was spot on. I wish all delivery experiences were like that. There are a lot of vegan options which is nice, but again Thai food should have a kick and be flavorful which I thought was missing from my experience. Perhaps this place would work for others but I'm a foodie so it didn't do it for me. read more

Did not expect much to be honest, but the food was great ! I had the bbq combo and the green curry. Nothing special to say about the green curry. It was like any other Thai place. But the bbq combo was surprisingly good. The pork and chicken were sooo tender. But the best part was the shrimp fried rice that comes with it. I just wish they gave some of the bbq sauce on the side. Will definitely come back. read more

I've been coming to this place for several years and their food has never been disappointing. It is also one of the most reasonably priced restaurants in the area serving delicious food for everyone including vegans and vegetarians. The service is quick and friendly. We had a lovely meal. The view is nice at night, if you are fond of twinkly lights and the semi-historical Culver City-ish stretch of Venice, which I am. The decor is on the simple side of lovely. We had the catfish curry and the Tom Ka Gai, and both were quite delicious. Our server didn't speak great English which was a bit of a bump at first, but everyone was super nice and the service was attentive and quick. They let us hang out for a long time comfortably talking, with no pressure to leave, which is always a plus. I would say five stars, but for me a five star place really needs to be incredibly amazing. The bathroom was pretty shoddy - bits were in disrepair and it hadn't been cleaned in at least hours, if not longer. Service was very good in a simple way but not like, five star amazing. The fire beneath our soup went out and nobody relit it; the food was wonderful for the first ten minutes and then it was kind of luke warm after that - but still quite good. So yeah, maybe four and a half stars. But I will absolutely be back! Mmmmmm read more

I never write yelp reviews. It takes a whole lot for me to lose my temper but this place deserves negative stars. I ordered delivery and it was estimated 40-50 minutes. After nearly 2 hours, I called to ask what was going on, and the woman on the phone, rather than apologizing, proceeded to yell at me defensively that its not their fault and cut me off before I could even say a full sentence. They not only didnt apologize, compensate or make things right in any way, but the woman literally screamed at me and then hung up. 2 hours later the delivery did finally arrive but Im literally to angry to even eat it. Don't support or order from this place! read more

I love this place! Stellar lunch specials until 4pm and Happy Hour starts at 3pm! You can't really beat $2 beers and $5 martinis! Their lychee martini is my fave right now. I don't understand what the other reviewers mean about the portions. I can never finish a lunch special or any other plate by myself. Even splitting an entree with a friend the two of us can barely eat it all. The panang curry is my go to because it has some serious fresh and crisp veggies, a great variety too. Also, I really like the sweet young women who work here. They've always been attentive and eager to please. I love that it's on the second level, overlooking Venice blvd. read more

Was introduced to this place a few years back for take out and I've maintained the tradition. Located on Venice Blvd upper level strip mall, it offers a view of the street. There is an elevator, but I rather take the stairs - enclosed spaces smelly and creepy!Spacious seating with Thai culture makes for local date spot appeal. Welcomed and greeted right away. There's a small wine, beer and ale selection. The food selection is to be expected, but I do believe this place has the best pineapple fried rice I've ever tried and since it's my favorite, I've tried it quite a bit. I like mine with chicken and it comes with pineapple, cashews and raisins. Same for my coconut soup with notes of lemongrass, ginger, champion mushrooms: yum yum, savory spicy good! I prefer to have ground chicken, if possible. Perfect soul warmers. Service is fast, whether dining in or take out; never had to wait to be seated and take out is always ready before they say. Plenty of parking in and around the strip mall, free and metered. This sure hit the spot on a rainy night! read more

TreeHouse Thai is underrated, in my opinion. Located on the busy street of Venice, where there are a multitude of thai restaurants within a 2 mile radius, TreeHouse Thai is often a little emptier. However, their food is cheaper than the restaurants around them, and so tasty. They also deliver! My favorite lunch option is the Spicy Mint Noodle, which is similar to Pad see ew with an extra kick and fresh mint cooked in. The lunch combo also comes with an egg roll and salad. I've also tried the tom kha soup, which they serve in a pot with the flame underneath to keep it hot. So good! All of the curries are also delicious - the only downside is that they give you a small serving of rice in proportion to the curry. However, I like to save some of the curry, cook my own rice at home and eat the leftovers the next day! TreeHouse Thai is located on the second floor of the building and have a wall full of windows on one side, giving you a nice view as you enjoy your meal. They also have a parking lot, which is a major plus. read more

We ordered delivery at 5:45pm (picture attached). EAT24 said delivery time of 6:45pm. At 5:59pm, I received a call that our food was downstairs. I thought, 'No way. They mixed up orders.' Went downstairs, sure enough our Pineapple Curry with Tofu, fried wontons and Tom soup were in the bag. Now, I know it's under a mile between home and this restaurant but no way all the way the food was cooked in under 15 minutes! Definitely not fresh! Pre-made and microwaved. And, we've both been sick all day. Also, "very spicy"? I would t put the "very" in front of it. read more

Pad Thai was good until we realized there were small bugs throughout the salad, soup veggies and noodles. Really disappointing bc I hate wasting food but I could not save this. Looks like none of the veggies were cleaned. Packaging was great and not spill or leaking. Soup was oddly sweet but couldn't eat bc of the floating grey bugs. Spent over $60 and all I'm left with is the extra peanut sauce I liked read more

Have been in here for lunch a few times and decided to go in for happy hour one day. After the first beer the waitress asked me if I would like another one. After getting the beer the waitress took my empty glass and just rinsed it under the faucet and then just put it into the refrigerator. Was a little disappointed and was wondering how dirty the glass that I was drinking from was. read more

As another yelp reviewer said, tree house thai is underrated. Maybe it's because its seemingly tucked away in this upstairs corner, I am not sure. But whatever is going on, I am glad to have recently discovered it, and it very well may be my go to thai place. Really what I want to review however is the Wonton + BBQ Pork Soup. This was just absolutely fantastic. If you are in the mood for a good soup, you should totally try this. The portions were generous and the flavors were really on point. In addition to the soup the menu is large and it seems like they have a nice offering of all kinds of thai food and even things like pho and some chinese dishes. read more

The food quality was just so so walking into this place. The inside of this place reminds me of a true hole in the wall -- not too clean but not too dirty Price point is high for what you get. You get the feeling that Everything is a surcharge in this place, not welcoming at all. Almost to the point where you're glad they haven't thought about charging for tap water yet. Like others have said the portions are really small -- perhaps okay for petite people. I won't be back as there are far better spots to frequent in the area. The prices rival Natalee Thai, but the service and quality of food are subpar. read more

Super crazy good Thai on the Westside!!! Good portions and fresh, quality shrimp. Tom Yum noodle soup is KILLER and the noodles are packed separately for a better texture. This restaurant is real cute and the view is nice. I mean I also like watching Venice boulevard in general, but what I really like is not hearing Venice. As to the food, I was decidedly not blown away. I had a good meal here, A quality curry, but I have yet to have a Thai curry I didn't like. I though all around that it was a decent meal but with absolutely no remarkable parts to it. I would give it 3.5 stars if I could but we all know that stars are a quantum variable, so here we are. Since I am a typically huge fan of Thai curry and I wasn't particularly impressed with this one I have left it down at three. However, no complaints, worth trying for yourself. read more

Ordered online for delivery. The cream cheese wonton and the pineapple fried rice were fine, these two basic items are hard to mess up. The peanut sauce on the chicken satay was a little boring, but that's probably just my taste- i prefer a "thicker" flavour. The real problem was with the Green Curry. Tasted good, but there was hardly any soup and could barely get the rice wet. I've never had curry where it was all veggies and no soup! read more

Yes! I've been going here for 10 years. My favorite is the pad Thai, pad see ew, spicy eggplant or the soups! You can't go wrong with those. I'm not a fan of their curries... I don't like how they make them. Hope that helps!

This is the one of the worse location no recommend order here as food service for them, they treat delivery working ppl from Uber eat like their worker as bad ppl talk like no respect even we talk nicely walk in store ask them and show them pick up info on the phone app and aslo confirmed pick up on the app in front of them (2workers) to help them for their deliveries service and it's my first time visit there to confirmed pick up food and ready to go out for delivery to outside customers from Uber eat app order , they make Uber eat delivery ppl look like all bad as not hard working ppl, restaurant working staff tell us that u have to confirm pick up and which we did I front of their eyes , and next thing they they did to us have strong attack about u have to confirm driving on the way already to customer which we haven't even pick up the food yet in store ( I told them my car is behind ur parking lot need to walk to my car before the gps start and make us very embarrassed in front of the store with other customers in the store eatting ( I told them I need to make sure I pick up (double confirm with store already pick and walk out, and we confirm on gpa once getting car so we can start gps navigation , we shouldn't start ahead gps before get in our car engine running on gps navigation next move, they say it's your problem like they dont care it's our problem and embarrassing us that moment for no reason feel like threat at that moment, I understand at this point they might have bad experience from Other deliveries someone took the food and cancel did not do the job right but not us I am five star on the Uber eats and driving app, so I already report Uber and DoorDash and other service about their Behavior is wrong at the last step them say to me as threat, we work for the platform not for store u didn't pay us customer order u make the food and we pick up for them and customer did pay restaurant and our food delivery service us! I also report to customers about this I told them they make u guys wait longer cause their confirmation gps was way to early before we on the way to customer's home location for the job and I feel bad make customer wait longer for no reason! read more

First i'm gonna say ignore every single negative comment you see about this place because it is simply not true. This is my FAVORITE place in LA!!!!! The servers are so sweet and friendly- i've never had to wait more than 30 seconds to get service. Their Thai tea is so delicious I always have to stop myself from getting another. My boyfriend and I have tried multiple menu items and each one comes out so hot and phenomenal. They have a whole combo section where you get a main dish with soup, an egg roll, rice (unless you get a noodle dish), and a drink....literally for $12-14....INSANE!!!! They could charge double the price because the food quality and taste is amazing. They also have an excellent happy hour at realistic times!!!! I will never stop coming here as long as I live in LA. I recently visited for lunch with my friend, and it was an amazing experience. I got a combo for a very reasonable price, which came with a dumpling soup, and everything was just fantastic. The orange chicken was out of this world - crispy, flavorful, and perfectly cooked. The fried rice was also top-notch, and the soup that came with the combo was so delicious, I've been craving it ever since. I also had a Thai iced tea, which was sweet and refreshing, a perfect complement to the meal. The portion sizes were really generous - I had plenty to eat, and even took home some leftovers. The place was fairly empty when I went for an early lunch, but the staff was super attentive and kind, making sure we were well taken care of. I'm giving this place and extra star for their nice service. Based on the food I would give it only two stars. I have been to Thailand more than ten times, I'm no expert but this ain't real Thai. I don't expect Thai food to be super authentic here in culver city but this wasn't even close. I Ordered glass noodle soup and spicy fried rice. Many Thai restaurants assume that Americans like sweet food based on the fact that we are addicted to sugar. The more sugar they put in the food, the more we like it. But that isn't how it's suppose to taste. The glass noodle soup was really sweet. The spicy fried rice was bland and sweet at the same time. I couldn't finish eating them and ended up tossing half of my food away and was left unsatisfied. read more

Best restaurant experience I ever had. I came here, cute little place. A bit out of the way. On the second floor. Was greeted with a smile by a very polite and nice hostess. Seated promptly. Given menus promptly. Food made and served promptly. Presentation was beautiful. And the food was absolutely delicious. Highly recommend this place. Affordable, delicious, and great service. Every restaurant should learn from this place! Also the ambiance was great. Very beautifully decorated, had a very delightful relaxing meal here. This place is the best thai food I have had in a while. It had the best use of spice and the most flavor in dishes in a long time. We were a group of three, on a Sunday night, close to closing time. We had a delightful meal. The décor is nice and pleasant. The service was efficient. I had the Tom yum noodles that were well-spiced, flavourful and yum. I would recommend it in a heartbeat. The wife had the Panang curry which was good - better than most. Our friend had the spicy eggplant with chicken which was liked by all. It was, on the whole, a simple, spicy, flavourful meal! This is such a great spot--hole in the wall Thai with some seriously good flavors. It's on a busy corner/set of corners with a small parking lot. They obviously specialize in takeout, as there are giveaways with each takeout order over a certain dollar amount. I had panang curry with vegetables, and was so delicious. It wasn't too spicy (even though it had a fire sign next to it, it wasn't) but had a great flavor. I added a bit more spice to it to make it pop/clear the nasal passages. They have a $10 minimum on cards and it's pretty cheap, so bring cash. read more

Had the tofu pad thai and the beef pad see ew tonight (yes both... was hungry) and I thought this place is better than average! The interior is clean/nice/relaxing and the staff friendly and fast. I only had a couple of their plates but want to assume everything else may be good as well. We went on a Sunday night and the place was decently packed. Lots of techies in the house! I love coming here with my roommates or ordering take out. The food is delicious!! You can't go wrong ordering their Pad Thai -- they give you a LOT of it (yay for leftovers!). Price is perfect and totally affordable for college students like myself. The service is wonderful -- the restaurant is that large so they are able to get around to everyone and refill drinks and just making sure you're enjoying your meal. I always get my Thai food either from Tree house thai. Food alwaulys good! Environment - this restaurant has a very large eating area. Service - the service was really good. The pad thai and spicy eggplant are awesome!! We've gotten our food delivered (fast delivery) and take-out, both times the staff was very friendly. I am a customer for a very long time. I like many of their dishes, specially all the fish plates. I moved a little out of the area, but I still order from there true delivery. If you are eating there, just get ready to wait a little for your food because they take the time to cook it freshly, which I don't mind at all. read more

Tree House Thai is always our go to place after church. It is always not crowded and usually empty. My family and I love going there and we always order the Crab Fried Rice as a must. The Thai Iced Tea is really good, and the place is so authentic. read more
