My boyfriend and I have been wanting to try this place for a while and decided to order some for takeout. Food was ready promptly from the window of the ghost kitchen. I was disappointed. The char kway teow was too sweet and saucy, and because of that, it was lacking char on the noodles to give it that smoky flavor. To be honest, my favorite part of the dish was the Chinese sausage, which isn't even homemade lol. My boyfriend's bo luc lac lomo saltado was better. The flavor tastes like bo luc lac (Vietnamese approved), and the meat was perfectly cooked with nice color. The rice on the side was also perfectly cooked. However, the portion was skimpy on meat and heavy handed with the fries. Overall, I'd say the portion size was a bit small for the price point. This is one of our go to place for consistently good Indonesian Singaporean fusion dishes. We've been coming here since 2018 and thankfully they survived Covid-19, but somehow much quieter afterwards. The good news is the food is still dope. They also serve Vietnamese fusion which is also good. Service can be slow at times as they're usually a bit understaffed but always friendly and chill. The place is cozy with a few small tables and bar seating so best for smaller groups. Our favorites here are the Hainan Chicken Rice (better than Savoy Kitchen IMHO) which resembles the world famous Tian Tian in Singapore Maxwell Food Centre, the Mad for Garlic Noodle, and the Nasi Goreng which is Indonesian fried rice topped with fried egg. Couple blocks away from our place so we gave it a short. Went during lunch time and surprisingly we were the only customers. We were seated quickly and food came out fast. Clean atmosphere so definitely five stars! Food was great too, and initially I didn't think it was going to be enough, but ended up taking some Togo! My garlic noodles, however, were ice cold, as was the chicken on top, which really surprised me because I was under the impression that everything was fresh and made to order. I was very disappointed that a restaurant I've heard so many good things about sent out cold food. When my driver handed me my order, I noticed the bag wasn't warm, but I wasn't expecting what felt like food that came out of the refrigerator. I got a take-out order and picked up at Banyan Tree through Doordash. I got the Chicken Salad, the Laksa, and the Ma Jiang Noodle. Some may say it was simple, but I found everything delicious and comforting. True Malaysian/Indo/Singaporean flavors. I think the chicken was perfectly poached. I always gravitate towards Japanese curries, udon noodles, Thai, Taiwanese, and Sichuan flavors when it comes to Asian cuisine, but I'm glad this place is close-by so I can experience something different and delicious. One of the most disappointing Bahn Mi sandwiches that I've ever had. I ordered through DoorDash. The restaurant is not too far from my place, so I would think that when I received it, it would at least be fresh. The sandwich was so cold and had no flavor. It had an obscene amount of cilantro. I usually dine in at Mee and Greet, and it's always a fantastic culinary experience, easy to get to and park at. The service is friendly and food is fresh. The portions and pricing meet my expectations to complete satisfaction. There was never a reason to not take the time to journey to Overland Avenue on the Westside of Los Angeles. I had a craving for Mee and Greet recently and decided to order via an online delivery service (Grubhub), and at first I was worried if I made the right decision since going to Mee and Greet is about a good vibes atmosphere and the food comes hot and fresh. I pondered if getting the food delivered would compromise any of the high quality experiences I'm accustomed to. Fear Not !!! Mee and Greet's food is PERFECT when using delivery services. The food is packaged to perfection and the food tastes just as good as the restaurant but can be enjoyed in the comfort of your own home. I tend to over-order when having food delivered, and with Mee and Greet, you might consider doing the same. Tonight's "Leftovers" you can't finish becomes Tomorrow's delight for breakfast, lunch and/or dinner to enjoy. The food stays tasty and you're rewarded by Round Two, a second serving of your favorites. I recommend the Mad for Garlic Noodles and Minh's Pho Noodles as base "must have" entrees (perfect for sharing, so if you have a family, you might want to do a double portion order so nobody fights over these delicious noodles. I also always get the Bo Luc Lac Saltado, as I do love the marinated taste of the beef with so many flavors and the french fried potatoes. My 6 year old son loves the Yan Su Ji (Popcorn Chicken) which is way healthier than any chicken nuggets and tastier than any American styled chicken strips, as well as the Tofu Family Style (Disclaimer, my son loves Japanese Agadashi Tofu, and finds these equally as delicious). Oddly, he says he doesn't like Pork, but when we order the Lu Rao Fan (Pork Belly) he does't know what it is other than the fact it's so tasty and he pretty much dominates the dish, claiming it as his own to devour before we can even share :) I recommend coming to Mee and Greet, but an equally as enthralled by how awesome it is to have the food delivered too. I think, but am not sure, but heard that you can also order Mee and Greet through Uber Eats, Postmates, Bring Me That, Chow Now and Door Dash in addition to Grubhub... and probably the plethora of other food delivery services. read more

This is a Pan Asian restaurant which feels to have heavy influences in Taiwanese and Vietnamese food. Friend that I was with is Taiwanese so we ended up ordering more items that were obviously Taiwanese influenced. I personally ordered the Hainan chicken rice. I wanted to try it because I ordered that same dish two times within the last few months so I'm kind of on a cake or just trying to compare different places. The flavors in the presentation of this place are definitely similar to the other places and the food is good here. My friend also ordered the spinach and the Taiwanese popcorn chicken. We also ordered the garlic fries which were also very good. I enjoyed the chicken but I probably wouldn't need to order it again on the next visit. What I would like to try on the next visit though, are the dishes like the sautéed beef or bo luc lac. Heck, pretty much some of the other dishes that are Vietnamese in general. The place is easy to fine. It's located in the small strip mall in the Palms area. The lot itself could be a little scary to park in when busy, but there is a lot of street parking nearby as well. The price point is pretty decent, but it would be tough to come here too often. Definitely want to come back and try some more dishes though. read more

I haven't had Indonesian food before, so I was excited to see Mee and Greet served some of the dishes! I ordered the nasi goreng, and I also tacked on lu rou fan for dinner the next day. Soon enough, I got my order delivered! As I never had nasi goreng before, I was actually surprised that it taste a bit...sweet?? Maybe there was coconut in it, but again, I was taken aback by the sweetness in the fried rice dish. But plenty of lovely flavors in there, including garlic and shrimp paste. It was also beautifully-presented with a sunny-side up egg! The lu rou fan was deep and fragrant, excellent with the star anise that really stood out in the broth. Loved the tea egg stewed inside, and the braised pork was tender with the perfect fat-meat ratio. I think I enjoyed the lu rou fan more! Overall, a solid pan-Asian restaurant. I was glad to have gotten a taste of Indonesian food, and I'm curious to try out more dishes on the menu at Mee and Greet! read more

Ok viet food for the location. But not really the best, pretty average. A fine spot for a quick takeout Chicken pho 7/10 Not bad, but nothing really special. The takeout was nicely put in a plastic bowl with the broth in the bottom, noodles and chicken on top. Saran wrapped for no spills. The chicken had dried garlic on it but it wasn't enough so I put more of my own. I would recommend heating the noodles in the microwave since they clumped together during the delivery. The broth I would boil on the stove then pour over your noodles to separate them. The sauces hoisin and sriracha were in their own separate containers. And the veggies the typical viet mix: bean sprouts, jalapeño, cilantro, sliced white onion and lime. No thai basil. I just put everything together in a bowl and poured the broth over. Again it was okay. Just average chicken pho. Nothing wrong with it!! Hainan chicken rice 7/10 Wish they provided cucumbers with the takeout version. It was really salty. Not really the best.
