[[HIGHLIGHT]]It's a great spot to get a coffee and to take a walk on the beach.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] The parking over here can be a nightmare and this coffee shop doesn't have any designated parking so I don't think I would go out of my way to go there unless I was already at the beach

In search of a caffeine pick me up when we were walking by. We were greeted upon entering and the staffperson was friendly and quick to decribe their offerings when he learned it was our first time there. We ordered the Salted Caramel Mocha and Bourbon Caramel. Both were not too sweet and the flavors of the cold brews came through. Hubs and I both enjoyed our drinks.

[[HIGHLIGHT]]An awesome coffee shop, less than a block from the beach![[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] This is one of my go to spots. The coffee is great, and all of the baristas are even better. They know me by name and my go to order! The pastries section is also amazing. I'm obsessed with the protein donuts. They're incredible! They also have a large gluten free selection! [[HIGHLIGHT]]The shop itself is beautiful. It has super high ceilings and windows from floor to ceiling.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] [[HIGHLIGHT]]It has plenty of outlets and is my favorite place to work remotely from.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] The only thing I wish was different is that I wish they had mugs instead of just paper cups.

After grabbing ice cream just up the street I thought I'd stroll over & check this place out. I was blown away by all the cold brew and nitro cold brew options. They had a try least four cold brews on tap! Yes, on tap! This place takes their cold brew seriously. I'm pretty simple when it comes to my cold brew and I'm not super picky either. My husband roasts his own beans & makes a killer cold brew, so I knew I wanted to try some black and nothing extra added. As soon as I saw the Ethiopian Yergacheffe on tap I knew that would be it. After a sample sip, my decision was made. The super kind woman behind the counter was friendly and we even joked a bit while she got my coffee. She made sure to wave & offer a smiling "goodbye" when I headed out. The ambiance is simple, super casual, limited indoor seating and pretty chill. The bathroom was super clean and the pastries looked a lot better than I expected, although I didn't get anything on this trip. I'm glad I ventured over and checked out Trident Coffee. I'll be sure to mosey back over next time I'm in town!

Coffee was flavorful and delicious. Cheaper than some other coffee shops in the area. Close to the beach which is nice to grab a morning coffee and walk along the board walk. Service was great. Plenty of seating inside.

I walked to this coffee shop on my vacation and everything I got was really great! However, I sat there for 33 minutes waiting for my breakfast burrito. (ordered at 9:35 and left at 10:11 after i got my food) and my order was not my name (it said Rosaline) Although, there was only one worker someone came in 20/25 minutes after me ordered a burrito and got it before me as I was just sitting there waiting! Would totally love to give more stars if the wait time wasn't as long as I think she forgot about my order ( human mistakes). As the blueberry cobbler and burrito were amazing. I also ordered a protein donut

Trident coffee is a really dope new coffee shop in PB! [[HIGHLIGHT]]The decor is really cool and i love how clean and aesthetically pleasing the shop is.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] We ordered the matcha and iced pumpkin latte. Of the two, the matcha was delicious. The pumpkin latte was a bit sweet for me and not enough pumpkin flavor. I'd definitely return to try the cold brew and other items! The baristas are also really nice here.

The vibe was SO CALM AND THE STAFF WAS HELPFUL. I love the esthetics and how accommodating the barista was to my friend and I. Every time I go to town when I am working in Coronado, I would try to stop by. Their drinks are fantastic, and the barista always follows my requests... and today I tried a protein donut for the first time. It is the blueberry one. I am not a doughnut person, but I thought it was unique and wanted to give it a try. I went on a Sunday around noon. I've never had a seat there to enjoy the ambience of the environment and drink slowly. One day I should! Seats have always been taken inside. It is small but cute. They also give military discount! I am wondering... where do they get the doughnuts? Do they make it or is it from a local place? I wish I asked. read more

I've previously visited the Coronado location and loved it but this new location is AMAZING! it's so bright and airy and the perfect spot to grab coffee. Such a lovely location. The place is decorated very well and really unique things, such as coffee on tap! As far as the workers go, they are nothing but friendly and helpful, I always have a great experience coming here. To finish it off, they have some amazing coffee, and I recommend their pastries. It's not often that I regret making a purchase on a product especially when it is locally owned but Yelp truly led us astray with this 4.7 star rating. We tried their horchata cold brew and the New Orleans cold brew. Both were awful. I don't know if they had a bad batch of cold brew or simply don't know how to make it. Our drinks were mostly watery with a hint of cinnamon in the horchata and a hint of hazelnut mixed with water and a dash of coffee in the New Orleans. Don't waste your money here. read more

Great coffee shop with a couple of tables and a couple of comfy couches. We ordered espresso drinks (iced and hot) and a hot London Fog. We also got several items from their baked goods selection. All was delicious. The only thing that would have been even better is if they had low-fat milk or non-fat milk options (but it seems nobody does anymore). read more

Really chill beach vibe environment. Grace is super sweet and really helpful on our first visit. She recommended some really good stuff from the menu. The cognitive Latte and the matcha Latte is really good. Doesnt taste over powering with anything. Really nice. Never had anything like it. The churro donut and blueberry crumble donuts are the go to for us not too sweet, its soft and moist to pair with your drinks.. I'd like to try Coronado location. Much closer to us. read more

I will preface this review with the acknowledgment that this is the epitome of first world…read moreproblems. I actually love this place (I could have sworn I had reviewed positively before). I'm just extremely disappointed with how poor my experience was today because I had only super positive experiences previously and was looking forward to dining there this morning after sometime away, but holy hell ....today's experience has been so profoundly bad. Firstly, my husband ordered two breakfast burritos - one with bacon and the other with bacon on the side. I'll chalk this one up to miscommunication, but they put bacon in one, and bacon in the other too - and then added bacon on the side to the other and charged us $5.50 for the extra bacon. Again, I'll give them the benefit of the doubt here and will be sure to communicate explicitly next time. They kindly made me a new one, but the new one had potatoes that weren't cooked thoroughly (likely to rush the food to me, so I acknowledge the difficulty here), however there was hardly any avocado. I literally had to complain again because I didn't believe there was any avocado at all. I wouldn't be as pissed if this weren't an EIGHTEEN DOLLAR breakfast burrito. Lastly, the coffee lids don't fit on the cups. We tried to put one on and ended up spilling the entire coffee. I chalked this up to an accident on our part, however another patron who observed our incident said "their lids don't fit the cup, right??" And I was like "oh so it wasn't just us??" And she was like "no, I almost spilled mine all over too." This random patron encouraged us to ask for a new cup of coffee as a result (thanks, random patron!). The Molly's team did kindly make us a new (albeit quite bitter) drink, which I appreciate. However, the lid was still an issue - it would spill out of the cup all over the rim between the cup and the lid when I'd try to take a sip, so I took off the lid entirely, but then was stuck with dealing with spills while walking around - I had to move at a snail's pace to prevent spills altogether. This was easier to deal with random leakage around the entire cup every time I'd sip with the lid on. Ultimately It was just a lose-lose with the ill fitting lid situation. All this to say - Molly's Team, yall were fantastic just a month ago. What happened? I understand food and services in the beach area stuff are often expensive and rarely good, but you guys are *too* expensive for this poor of service and quality. Two stars because at least the folks there are generally nice.

The service never felt rushed even though we came close to close. I also had no idea we walked in during their "US Hour" from 12:00 to 2:30, so that ended up being a nice surprise. They offer $7 draft beers, $9 wine, $10 mimosas, plus a handful of bites for $9. We started with the Fried Calamari Tentacles from the US Hour menu. They're served with Japanese mayo, although it tasted like there was some citrus mixed in because it had a nice tangy kick. Whatever it was, it worked really well with the crispy calamari. To drink, I ordered the Yuzu Matcha Mimosa. It had a really vibrant green color that almost reminded me of green juice. I actually enjoyed it. The matcha flavor came through without getting lost. My friend wasn't the biggest fan because they thought it leaned a little too bitter, so I think this one depends on how much you already enjoy matcha. For my entree, I ordered the Duck and Waffles ($24), which comes with crispy duck confit, a waffle, passionfruit guava sauce, and chili crunch. This was easily the highlight of the meal. The duck was cooked perfectly. It was crispy on the outside, tender inside, and seasoned just enough to let the meat shine. I also appreciated that the chili crunch actually had some heat instead of just being there for texture. The waffle was light and fluffy. I'm a sucker for sweet and savory combinations, so the powdered sugar paired with the rich duck was enough to win me over. The passionfruit guava sauce was the only part I wasn't completely sold on. It wasn't bad by any means. I just think it's one of those flavors that comes down to personal preference. This ended up being one of those meals that reminded me why I keep a running list of places I want to try. Great food. Great service. A fun happy hour that I accidentally stumbled into. My only wish is that parking in North Park was a little easier, but that's just part of the neighborhood. I'd definitely come back.

The wild rice and poached egg made for a pretty good mix. Other daughter got the Curry Hamburg. She likes her curry, especially Japanese curry. While she did not get transported to Tokyo she did give it a thumbs up. This place is pretty busy and I was fairly impressed with the attentiveness of our waitress. Waters kept full which was handy as it was a bit hot and my car was a good walk away. Would like to visit again and try other menu items.
