Then you can sit down if you're eating in. We got a half order of the green onion boneless chicken, half order of original wings, an order of ssoduk ssoduk (fried rice cake and sausage on a skewer), and kimchi fried rice. My partner and I ordered from here on a rainy day and it hit the spot! We ordered the Ttobongee Special and were thoroughly impressed with the quality of food and quantity too! We also ordered the tteokboki and regular wings. Those were just okay but definitely filling + reasonably priced. Two quick notes: I would note that it's pretty salty - the next day I was feeling sort of puffy after eating the food, but man, it was totally worth it! They don't measure spice level either and the tteokboki and wings were both PRETTY darn spicy. Nothing we couldn't handle but definitely a bit spicier than we usually get! Chicken was perfectly battered, crispy and juicy. The Yang Nyum house sauce was sweet and a perfect amount of heat. The original was great, seasoned really well & paired nicely with the radish but I'd like to dip it in some type of sauce (we ended up ordering a side of the Yang Nyum sauce). I'd like to try the soy & garlic next time & also the extra crispy chicken next time. The Sodduk Sodduk (sausage/rice cake) skewers were yummy! The rice cake was nicely grilled so it was both crispy and chewy. Sausage was slightly sweet. Good textures overall if you're into that. Service was great. You order at the counter & they will bring you a small side, water & later your food order. Ambiance is chill & casual. ‍Highly recommend this spot & it is a nice change from the Bonchon chain/franchise. The owner/manager stopped by multiple times to check on us and how we liked our food. She was also offering free samples at the counter and even stepped outside in the 100 degree heat. You can definitely tell how hard she's working & her commitment to the business & patrons. This is my favorite spot in Natomas for Korean food. To start off, my kids love eating here they say their bulgogi beef is the best. For me it starts with having my favorite kimchi spam fried rice. I find that to be one of the best version i have a chance to eat. They do a good job of getting both flavors infused in the fried rice. I also have tried their fried chicken with different sauce, but extra crispy is my favorite. They also provide you all the side condiments. The place has a about 6-8 tables which is bit small but we have never had a hard time finding a seat. They keep fresh food coming with a high demand of to-go orders. I have been here a few times in the past, but last night was the worse night ever and I will never come back. The girl at the counter just completely ignores you even when she clearly saw you there. Then once I spoke, she decided to take my order, but so many people walked out because of her. One potential customer even told her how rude she was and she tried to play it off as if she didn't know... The food was terrible and I ordered 2 of the same dish, one of the dish was given to me without the japchae. When I brought it up, I was told "oh, we ran out." I'm thinking, why the F did I pay full price for a partial dish and why did you not say anything??? So I asked her to substitute for something else and was given extra mandu (aka pot stickers). What a treat! I honestly did not expect this place to be so good being that it was a new restaurant that took over an old spot. We walked in there's lots of seating and TVs on the wall for you to enjoy K-pop music. The menu is pretty succinct which helps people I think in choosing what to eat. The spicly pork combo plate that I got was delicious and had multiple banchan as well as the main dish. My partner had the tofu soup and that was even more flavorful than I expected. The person at the cash register was disinterested in explaining the menu items to us even though we told him it was our first time visiting and had questions. Anyways, we ordered the Ttobongee Chicken plate which is their original fried chicken. The sides that come with it are rice, jab chae, kimchi, broccoli, bean sprouts and dumplings. The chicken tasted ok, kind of dry. The kimchi is too spicy for my tolerance, the jab chae had an overwhelming taste of black pepper. The broccoli, dumplings and bean sprouts was good. We also ordered the Bulgogi Plate which came out on a stone plate and also came with the same sides. The Bulgogi tasted good. I was SO excited to try this place cause I have yet to find good Korean fried chicken in this area It all tasted fine, but I ordered online and got there about 20 minutes early so I didn't think it would be ready yet. It was sitting there when I arrived and was barely crispy and the breading/coating was thick and didn't seem like it would be crispy even if it was fresh. The chicken itself was nice and moist, but it felt oily (not like Korean fried chicken usually us and definitely not what was promised in their advertising) and the side of I ordered had the texture of ones that had been sitting out for awhile...very tough. We've been here a few times, always to try the different chicken flavors. The service is really friendly and the food is tasty. The downside is that it is a little pricey and it takes a while for the food to be prepared. Our favorite chicken by far is "the crispy" but recently had the galbi which is probably going to be our second favorite. The side dishes are good but the chicken is definitely the star of the show.
