The person who took my order was sweet & helpful. I scanned the menu looking if they have a salmon poke bowl & they didn't. So I asked for the ahi & salmon poke bowl & asked to just have all salmon instead because I really love salmon & she was able to make that adjustment to my meal which I find really cool. I order a salmon poke bowl & a strawberry black tea with boba. The person who was assisting me added a generous amount of salmon poke(thank you person cuz I absolutely love salmon) into my bowl & you can customize your bowl with their selected toppings & sause which I really like. I gotten the half rice half salad with sesame mayo with all the toppings. The poke bowl was filling & delicious. As for the strawberry black tea, I really like this drink it was really refreshing & the strawberry flavoring really pairs perfectly with my poke bowl. Yay to Poke finally making it's way to Fairfield. When I'm craving poke in the 707, my go-to place is Okashi Fusion in Vacaville. After coming across Uncle Sharkii on the hot and new section via Yelp I had to check them out! The poke bar is located where the old Quickly's used to be in the Solano town center food court. The menu is simple with about 8 bowls to choose from. Salmon, ahi tuna and spicy as well as shrimp and tofu options available. The bowls automatically come with toppings such as cucumbers, furikake, onions, green onions, corn, etc. Just let the cashier know what toppings you don't want. I've ordered a few bowls from here already and usually minus the white onions. You choose what base you want (rice or salad), what sauce to mix with the protein and choice of sauce to drizzle on top. Aside from poke, they also have boba and even soft swerve (pineapple, strawberry), which I have yet to try. The bowls are reasonably priced at about $10-12, which is pretty good for the mall. My faves are the salmon and ahi tuna bowl. It's delicious and very filling. Quality I would say is pretty good. The ingredients are fresh and my taste buds are pleased. Overall, good bowls, great prices and I would have to say 'just okay' service. The employees are obviously youngsters and could use work in the customer service department..like be a little more lively, acknowledge customers and speak louder. I'll come back but when things are a little more settled in. I'd like to try their soft swerve next time. read more

Poke is my go-to when I'm craving a refreshing and filling meal. This spot came up in the area, did not know it was in the mall. The portions are decent, but I find myself wishing for just a bit more. The ingredients were fresh, and menu options were various but simple to choose from. My personal favorite combination is the ahi tuna/salon rice/salad with everything and pineapple wasabi mayo. The staff is friendly and knowledgeable. The mall is not the place to find good food. And as much as I'd like to say they have a good poke place, my statement still holds true. Uncle Shark's is just another copycat poke place trying to jump on the latest trend. My mom-in-law tried this place and got a 2-for-1 special. She gave us the free bowl so I was able to sample the poke bowl without visiting the establishment. Some of the ingredients are too common and not usually in poke bowls - like corn. Also, it was drenched in the mayo sesame sauce which took away from the overall experience. I love raw fish and poke. But because it has a lot of mercury, I am very picky about the quality of the fish. Who knows what quality fish they serve here? I'm a little leary of places like this for that reason. First off, I want to say that the food itself is very good. It's fresh and I actually crave Uncle Sharkii poke bowls to the point that my husband gets it for me as often as once a week (for the last several months). I give the food 4.5 stars....when they actually have it! The reason for the 2 star rating is that this particular location is so unpredictable, unreliable and always out of something, it's absolutely frustrating. As a regular, this is what my experience is... They run out of rice; they run out of salad; they rarely have avocado; they NEVER have bags to actually carry your food out with and the staff could care less. Tonight my husband drove me all the way over there because I've had a rough week and he wanted to treat me to a poke bowl because he knows how much I love them. The young man told us the minute that we walked up to the counter that the manager said no more poke bowls tonight. It was 7pm and prime dinner time and you're not serving any food?! Crazy. The servers there are cold and unfriendly and you can tell they don't really want to be there. There used to be one server there who was a young blonde and she was the only friendly one who made awesome bowls and had a smile on her face. I haven't seen her there in months so I assume she probably got fed up there too and left. We will now be changing locations where we can get what we want and get our money's worth without worrying about ingredients not being stocked and management who obviously doesn't know how to do their job. If you're from the Fairfield/Vallejo area, then you know there's little to no places to get a really good poke bowl. Uncle Sharkii is by no means the top contender when it comes to poke bowls, but for the area, I would say it's not bad and will certainly get the job done and satisfy those poke cravings! Their prices are super affordable too, significantly less expensive than most poke places in the bay! However, the quality of their ingredients and fish especially, don't seem to be the best. It would be nice if they also had more protein and sauce options since I believe they only have a few sauces. I've also never had their drinks before, but being that they're all pretty much made from powders/syrups that you can see clearly from the cash register, you could tell that they wouldn't be good or worth the money. All in all, a decent place to get your quick poke fix, but don't expect the most fresh or amazing quality fish. I'm not really a poke person, but I decided to try this new place that opened up in the mall. On my first visit I had the ahi salmon tuna bowl. It was pretty good and a lot of food for the price. The boba on the other hand was quite disappointing and tasted watery. I understand not all places selling boba can use the freshest ingredients but it was expensive for the quality. So I'd rather visit this place only for the poke. On my second visit I tried the spicy scallop bowl, it wasn't anything special and I prefer the ahi salmon tuna bowl instead. Also decided to give the boba another chance and was disappointed again. Had the peach black tea with boba. The boba is cooked properly but the drink tasted like peach syrup mixed with black tea. This place is usually really good, but lately it's been shitty. On the fourth of July, they had no rice, and no shrimp. I ordered three bowls, and all of them were wrong. For example, I asked for no corn on one, and it still had corn. It also had the wrong sauce, I asked for sesame mayo but got spicy mayo instead. The other bowl I ordered had no jalapeños, and barely any fish. Another thing I noticed was the workers didn't wash their hands while using the public restroom. Overall horrible experience. No. First off the guy who rang me up... on the receipt his name is John P. Super rude. I asked him a simple question, how is this ordered? No reply just a blank stare at me... so I just guessed then he just said everything on it? What's everything? ATTN owners: We were the only customer on a weekday night and 1 order of Poke bowl took like 20mins. The reason for that, the 2 clerks were loud and gigling and not concentrating on making the food. We ordered from other merchants too and got our food and this was the first we ordered from and the last to be ready. The ingredients were nice and fresh and I would hate for this store to close beacuse of the clerks. I just want to say this place is incredible. I was never a big fan of poke. Only because I'm not too interested in trying new foods. But since I was able to choose what I wanted in the bowl, it made ordering a whole lot easier. The staff was very friendly and helpful. The two ladies working there yesterday around lunch made me comfortable in ordering and even suggested some things for me to try. The place was clean and the logo was attractive in bringing me to try Uncle Sharkii for the first time. It was a great experience all the way round. Will definitely go back again.
