PLEASE FIX YOUR STAFF'S ATTITUDE! Even though there are many poke restaurants near my home, I always choose Uroko because I've had good experiences at three different locations. This branch is the closest to my house, so I expected the same level of service. Unfortunately, today's experience was extremely disappointing. My order was made incorrectly, so I had to drive all the way back to the restaurant.

In total, I spent about 50 minutes driving just to get a poke bowl. Mistakes happen, and I understand that. What I cannot accept is how your staff handled the situation. The employee with white hair, who gave me the wrong order,...

simply placed the corrected order on the counter and practically tossed it toward me--without a single apology or any sign that she cared about the inconvenience she caused. No "I'm sorry," no acknowledgment, nothing. I returned to the store at 4:11 PM on July 21, if you'd like to identify the employee. Customer service is just as important as food quality. There are plenty of poke restaurants in Orange County, and experiences like this are exactly why customers choose to spend their money elsewhere. One employee's poor attitude can seriously damage your business's reputation. I felt completely disrespected. I would appreciate an explanation from management, as well as a sincere apology for how this situation was handled.

get to pick your base, then you select six different sides, no repeats. I always go for their crab meat, spicy crab meat, seaweed salad, avocado, cucumber, and onion. There's also a good selection of sauces and toppings you can choose. There's usually a line during peak hours, especially at lunch, but the service is quick. It's my go-to poke spot whenever I have cravings for something lighter and refreshing.

options) For my first time at Uroko, I was pretty indifferent about it. The place is clean for the most part and service is as regular as most places. I got a large bowl (5 scoops) which came out to about $20-25. Nothing against the freshness or anything but I just didn't feel ecstatic about the sauce choices. BUT as I started going more, I realized that Uroko was a good choice and satisfied my hunger. HOWEVER, some good things don't last. I got my order today and I'm so upset because I really do like to keep my mouth shut. But with my experience in working at a poke shop, I couldn't let this slide and well, I found a bone in my salmon. NOOOO. Food safety issue! I know... But I just hope this review lets the owners/managers know that workers need to be more careful. Uroko is NOT bad guys but do be careful. Eating raw fish comes with some consequences.

beyond glad for this uroko thats closer to my house!! i went to the costa mesa one for a while and now frequent this location :) gotta say its my favorite poke spot right now! I like getting the broccoli (which you never see at other poke establishments) and half brown rice with all salmon! i love that avocado isnt extra (please never change) and i like all the toppings they have!! i get imitation crab, avo, cucumber, edamame, onions, and corn. and light ponzu! service is always nice here. i havent had any problems so far! lots of seating inside and out too! free water station & napkins available as well

This place is located in a plaza so parking was easy to navigate. Service was very kind and welcoming. The place itself was clean. Service: it's really easy to get in line and build your poke bowl, and the staff is nice and helps make recommendations or explains (they told me the spicy miso sauce was salty and asked if that was ok) Food: yummy and fresh! The pick 2 option was plenty and could have definitely shared or taken the rest to go. We both didn't finish. I would do my order again! Getting double spicy tuna is the way to go! My go-to for poke is Uroko Poke. I used to drive to the Costa Mesa location, but I'm so lucky that they opened one down the street from where I live a couple of years ago. Whenever I crave poke, I can just pop on by and get it. The service is great and the place is clean. I always get the 3 scoops. I like their tuna, salmon, and yellow tail. Everything is fresh.

A great spot for poke in Tustin. There's plenty of parking available in the lot. There is both indoor and outdoor seating available at this location. I had previously been to the Costa Mesa location and was glad that there's now a location closer to me. There are plenty of options for toppings and everything is put together in front of you. They use good quality fish as well as the rest of their ingredients. The toppings have to be 6 different items so you can't get double of something, but the scoop sizes for each of the toppings were decent. It was fairly crowded the night that we went but they were able to keep the line moving. It's a very satisfying meal and I really enjoyed how customizable it was.

Always great and fresh! I love their build your own bowls (got me as a regular every month or 2) and how tax is included in the price. Uroko always stuffs the bowl, 5 scoops large is enough for me to enjoy twice. Although I've only eaten inside once, the place is tidy with plenty of tables. Amazed I haven't left a review before, but I appreciate the friendly and on point customer service. So glad that the one time they forgot the proteins, after a phone call, they helped me by remaking the bowl.

This Poke spot was recommended to me by a friend. This is an amazing place to get some quality poke! There were a lot of fish selections and the fish tasted fresh with nice cuts of fish. They load the bowl with good size helpings, some places don't give you much but here they fill you up with higher quality options. The people working there were very helpful and friendly. First time here & I loved it! Staff were super friendly and gave my group & I time to look over the menu. I got the 2 scoop bowl. As you can see, I PACKED mine. Price didn't change. This picture was taken after I had already started eating. It might not look super fresh but it TASTED super fresh. The ginger, the salmon, the guac, all of it was so good. Deff will be coming back. The outside seating by the water fountain was a nice touch, plus it was a breezy spring day.

Cannot go wrong with poke where you choose your own toppings! Fish tastes fresh and delicious :) Reasonable prices for poke these days. Uroko is chipotle style. Create your bowl, find a seat, clean up after yourself. Staff is friendly and everything moves quick. This is the perfect spot for a quick bite, to go, or meeting a friend. Would 100% come again! lots of toppings = lots of flavor!

I believe this spot used to be Bardot, but it's been transformed to become the bright and airy Uroko Poke. Much like the one in Costa Mesa, you get in line to order your base, proteins, add-ins, sauces, and toppings. I enjoy the variety of fish offered at Uroko, and the 3-scoop bowl at $16 was enough to fill me up when I was starving after work. I got salmon, ahi, and yellowtail on a bed of half brown rice and half salad. The fish chunks are quite small, but I'm just happy when they don't skimp on the size of the scoops. I went with mild Uroko Original sauce and asked for spicy mayo on the side. The combo with savory flavors and varying textures made for a pretty satisfying meal. All of the ladies working there were efficient and friendly. I appreciated seeing that they were on top of restroom maintenance, too. There are tables inside and outside, and a clean water dispenser with cups and napkins are provided. Free parking is available in the plaza, and a nearby spot was easy to snag on a weekday afternoon. Just be aware of the one-way turns throughout the lot.

Love when Yelp plays matchmaker for me to find the spots. I think I found my favorite Poke spot. Uroko Poke offers generous portions at a reasonable price. Their poke is large and fresh, alongside many side options. Ordering is easy! You can go on their website, and choose your side, toppings, poke, sauce, etc. They have options to add any extra toppings or protein, but even their smallest option is a generous size. Once the poke was customized to my liking, I have to say everything tasted so good! My bowl felt healthy and fresh, with no greasy feelings after. Can't wait to eat here again

My poke bowl was more like a sauce soup bowl that was drenched in the Uroko sauce. What made it worse was that they were stingy with the rice, salad, and fish, so there's all that sauce to cover the whole bottom of the bowl. The saltiest and most disappointing poke bowl in my life. Perhaps try being more stingy with the sauce and more generous with the rice, salad, and protein. I ended up taking the top part of my bowl and putting on top of my own salad from home and tossing the rest of the bowl because it was so salty and drowning in sauce it was basically inedible. Still great and our go-to poke place. We've been here two more times since I wrote my first review lol. Service was good as usual. Uroko Original (med-spicy level) + wasabi mayo combo is bomb. I love that there's plenty of outdoor seating as well to enjoy the food in the pleasant weather. Uroko poke is one of my go to spots when I am craving poke. It's a fast causal spot that allows you to choose exactly what you want in your poke bowl. You can get up to 5 portions of fish, make your own sauce, and choose up to 6 toppings with avocado being no extra charge. Service is good and workers are friendly, would definitely recommend coming here if you have the chance. read more

Let me start off by saying I try not to leave any negative reviews because I understand it hurts small family businesses. However my experience from this location compared to the one located in Costa Mesa was quite different. The Costa Mesa one is amazing. The staff is great and the food phenomenal. I was excited to hear there was an Uroko opening in Tustin where I live and came to try it out today. However, the unpleasant and rude experience with the working staff here made me feel like my visits here will no longer be happening. From *forgetting* to give me protein to talking badly amongst the staff right in front of me and my wife made me wish I never came here. The employee started my order then before finishing my order helped the next customer and completely skipped me for some reason and then said "oops" and proceeded to finish my order. The food is great don't get me wrong but clearly the staff here could use another round of training as speaking ill of clients directly in front of them is not the most pleasant thing they could do. I will not put names down for privacy and professional reasons but please take the time to train staff on common courtesy. read more

The Costa Mesa location was a go-to as a student-- close to my internship, and study cafe. I'm super happy that they opened another franchise in Tustin, closer to where I live now post-grad. Service today. I've been a loyal customer of this chain for almost a year and planned to be for a long time. I typically order online and I come in and say my name and the staff hands me my order and I'm appreciative. Today. I walked in and the person at the checkout counter Hugo has his back turned to me. He sees me walk in and glances then continues to have his back turned to me. So I get to the counter and we're just standing there in silence for a few seconds as he doesn't say anything and his back is still turned to me. Its very clear I'm here for pickup. So since he doesn't say anything I'm about say my order name and then he eventually says hello with his back still turned to me. Words vs intent matters here and the intent was very negative. I say hello and I'm about to say my name for the order and he asks me another question with his back still turned to me and still sounds negative. I say "good" then "order for 'my name"'. I'm slightly annoyed at this point as he's coming off as very rude when I've done nothing to him. So now he's staring at my order bag with my name on it for a such an extended period of time and is making unsure noises to the point I say "oh maybe it's not done yet-" then check my phone and say "no it was done 3 minutes ago". So he's just staring at my order bag still and goes "can you prove this is for you?" What? Look if you're going to ask that for good reason, sure. But I've been coming here for a year and nobody's ever asked me that. On TOP of that you've been VERY rude to me the second I walked in the door and have continued to be negative when I've been polite and patient. So I make up in my mind I won't be returning back here. I've been nothing but patient and understanding and that just took the cake on it all. Because as I'm showing him my name on my phone for my order he's still sounding unsure as if this is or isn't my order and eventually says okay. Why treat a loyal paying customer this way? read more

The biggest concern, though, was the pastry display at the front. It was covered with tiny gnats, which is both unsanitary and unappetizing. Those pastries are being sold to customers, and that's something that should be addressed immediately. It's an easy fix that would make a huge difference. I genuinely hope they improve the coffee and take care of the pastry display, because the food is excellent and this place has a lot of potential.

For toppings, I highly recommend the green onion, tempura crunch, masago, wasabi, and ginger for a flavorful combination. While extra protein is available for $3.50, I found that three scoops of protein were more than enough.
