This is the only location I can find within the Sunnyvale/Santa Clara/San Jose/Fremont/Milpitas location that makes fresh and silken tofu. And the closest thing you can get to one of my favorite Phillipine desserts, "Tahô". Maybe the only thing this location doesn't add is the sago pearls, but that's not a deal breaker. Great hole in the wall place to get your soymilk/tofu fix. It's in a very unassuming plaza, across from another much bigger Asian shopping plaza. My favorites are the soymilk and tofu pudding which are both so fresh. The sweet soymilk isn't too sweet and is $5 per half gallon. The tofu pudding ($6 for a large) is freshly made every day and is piping hot when served and very filled to the brim, so be careful when opening it up. It comes with a ginger syrup. Personally I don't like ginger so I just sprinkle some sugar on top. The tofu pudding runs out though so just keep that in mind. Also, this place is cash only. read more

Underrated spot. I can't find a better Tau Fu Fa (hot tofu pudding) and arguably beats some of socal's finest. The texture of the tofu is second to none. And CONSISTENT. Everytime. Not grainy at all. Silky smooth and still tastes really good the next couple of days if you happen to bulk order and have leftovers. The place is truly a hole in the wall, and not much is translated. This a little gem in Fremont if you love fresh soy milk, tofu and tofu pudding dessert! Due to covid, they sealed off their front door. You can only order through the window, which I find completely safer for me and the owner. The place is small family-run business, and the owner is such a sweet lady! Was so glad to see and store was open (visited Sunday ~3:30pm), and it was pickup only from the doorway (i.e. there's no 'store' to enter; you are helped by the lady working inside). I must've seemed very confused (first time visiting) and the lady could tell I was Filipino even though I was wearing a mask (LOL) because she just asks, "Taho??" And I say YES! Next question was whether I wanted the syrup with ginger or no ginger (she assumed no ginger bc thats how Filipinos eat it), and the third question was whether I wanted a side of tapioca balls and frankly who says no to that?! She seemed to follow COVID-protocol pretty well using a mask and handling the cash with metal tongs lol, and a bunch of safety signs were on their outside window. Seems legit enough! I ordered 2 large buckets of hot soy pudding ($5 each), and will *definitely* be back to get my next rations as well as a few buckets for a socially distanced dropoff for my family. I bought 2 large buckets on Sunday, and as I'm writing this review Tuesday night I've already gone through 1.5 buckets.... by myself..... :D For Filipinos who crave taho, definitely give this a try! I've been coming here since I was a child, (over 20 years!) and by far their hot tofu pudding is the freshest, softest, and silkiest tofu pudding you will find in the entire Bay Area. The ginger syrup is absolutely perfect as well. Other places have a slight molasses taste or it's too thick, but Vinh Khang's ratio of sweetness and ginger flavor is the best. But the golden nuggets here are definitely the taro milk and the tofu pudding (豆腐花). The taro milk has that scary purple that fake taro milk has, but when you drink it you can taste the real taro! If you get lucky, these will still be fresh and warm rather than in the fridge. Let's talk about the tofu pudding though. $5 for a huge bucket that can be shared with 4 people easily. CASH only place. This place makes their own tofu. They offer 3 varieties of fried tofu, hot soft tofu, cold soft tofu, and fresh soybean milk with sugar or without sugar. Besides tofu and soybean milk, they also have a few other cold desserts in the frig. Black eyed beans rice pudding, Fermented rice balls, and today I saw a plastic cup of what looks like coffee. Once in a while they will also sell trays of Bánh bèo (small steamed rice cake). I swung by here today wanting to buy a tray of Bánh bèo, $2 worth of fried tofu, and 3 cups of the Black eyed beans rice pudding. They didn't have any Bánh bèo. The fried tofu used to be $1 for 5 pieces. It is now $1 for 4 pieces. The black eyed beans rice pudding were $1.50 each...same price as before. If you like tofu, you should try the cold soft tofu. It comes in a small transparent plastic tub sorta like what cream cheese is packaged in. With each tub, they give you a small zip lock bag of coconut and a small zip lock bag of sweet syrup. Pour both on top of the tofu and enjoy!! The blandness of the tofu mixed with the sweetness of the coconut and syrup makes this dessert refreshing.
