I have never tried waba grill! As soon as I walk in they greet me. I told the cashier that I don't know how to order and assisted me along the way. They have so many options for my new healthy life style change . They recommended me the size with the calories I wanted to intake. AND I fell in love with the BROWN RICE ! This is by far my FAVORITE Waba grill. I am a regular here and I order the Salmon often and I've never had a problem with it. The Kale salad is actually pretty good! And I would recommend that over the veggies. I have noticed that the portions are getting smaller, which is sad. One of the reasons I thought Waba Grill was the price was not only because it was healthy but because of the portion sizes. But now that they're smaller... I might just go to subway. But if you're in the area and looking for something quick and healthy I would recommend Waba Grill. Also, I've never had a problem with the staff. Customer service is fine. read more

This is the most unprofessional place I've ever stepped into. I walked inside to simply buy some drinks but before I could even ask for my drinks. A young Asian girl shouted from across the room that they were done" let's keep in mind that I checked what time they closed before entering. Closing time said 10:30pm I walked in at 10:15pm. I was not greeted when entering, it was very obvious that she didn't care if I had walked in or not. She told me that they were done but clearly 15 minutes were left. I proceeded to leave the building but before I walked out I asked them " what time do they close today.. 10pm or 10:30 pm?" She froze and then began to explain why I couldn't buy anything?? Went on 4/23/2017 with my kids. We each had our own bowl. My daughter literally spit out a screw from her mouth. I told the employee what was inside my daughters mouth. He acknowledged that it was a screw from a push broom that gets used to clean the grill. He showed me how it was coming apart and management was well aware of this. A maintenence tool that they continue to use. He said there's was nothing he could do because his manager was gone for the day. He referred me to the survey on the receipt? Nancy refuses to make my mother's order and gives attitude because she "doesn't know how" and gives back my mothers cash and card and takes the next customers order. I have been to this particular location multiple times because I work in the area. I usually ask for a small drink and For the last couple months I have been told they don't have any. This time I went and it bugged me that the menu shows two size options of drinks but the smaller is never available. So I asked to speak to the manager regarding that. the cashier went to get the manager but the Manager never came to speak to me. the cashier magically pulled a medium cup from under the counter. When I went to get my condiments I noticed a whole stack of smaller cups under the counter. I feel this to be very unprofessional and in a way it is cheating the customer. It might be only 40 or 50 cents difference but if you sell 100 drinks that a $40-$50 profit. Not sure if this is a direction that is given to the manager but for a big chain restaurant it is not professional. read more

I was here for about 5 min with nobody in the front I called out about 3-4 hellos until this girl come out the back with her iPhone glued to her ear... she kept on talking for a bit and finally hanged up and was going to take our order when the phone rang and she answered lucky for us nobody answered and she finally took our order, we asked for water and the phone rang again and without giving us the water cup answered the phone I tried asking again and she said for me to help myself... she couldn't finish helping us to just hand me the water cups that we couldn't even see until I went to the side and saw them.... of course they got our order wrong and when I tried to talk to her about it she was too busy to come to the front and help me. I was ecstatic when this place opened up initially. I thought to myself "finally a healthy food location in this area"... Unfortunately, it's a disappointment each time. The protein portion is ridiculously small. Especially the salmon bowl. They always over cook the salmon too to the point it's burnt. The customer service isn't that great either. If I were the person in charge of his franchise, I would be so pissed off. Sign says they close at 10:30. Me and the BF arrived at 8:30, back foot was locked. We thought maybe they were closed. But a whole two hours ahead? We walked through the front, it smelled like they mopped with a dirty smelly rag. They were already cleaning up like they were getting ready to close. The cashier was rude and in a hurry to get out of there. They were getting rid of the tea on the counter, blocked off one huge section on one side of restaurant. Let me just start off by expressing how delightfully excited I was they opened up a location close to home. I've been to several locations and always have a pleasant experience specially at the Huntington park location . I came over to this location over the weekend and my experience left plenty to be desired. The rice was so hard and dry as well as the chicken. I attributed to being late at night and decided to give it another try last night. As I walked in the foul smell turned me back quicker than a dog chasing a cat. It smelled as if they mopped using spoiled shrimp water. I can honestly say I will never return to this location. I enjoy Waba but this location lacks plenty. Maybe management should take a close look and be involved in the operations of this place as it is a new location and not yet established. It really does not represent the quality of most other locations. Hopefully they are able to better manage as I cannot see it lasting successfully for very long specially due to the price and demographic area. Came here today to try out some WaBa Grill with my sister since we were tired of the food around the area and it was close by. The things I did like was the interior design and how comfortable it is to be in there. I know this may be a one time thing or this may have happened to someone too but my experiences at WaBa Grill was unexpectedly dreadful. So I first walk to the counter and look at the menu, like any new customer would, and decided to get two Half-Half Bowls with my sister along with two drinks. This totaled to about 20 bucks which is pretty expensive and ridiculous for the amount of food I got. So when I received my order, I came back to my sister with two Chicken Veggie bowls. I cannot comprehend how Half-Half bowl sounds like Chicken Veggie bowl. Now, being like the nice guy I am cause I normally don't create huge commotion I said, "I ordered two Half-Half bowls one white rice and one brown with two medium drinks." and what he said back to me was "You ordered the Chicken Veggie bowls.".............................................(male employee who works in the afternoon) He had the audacity to tell me that what I wanted was 2 Chicken bowls having yet clearly saying Half-Half bowls. So I walk back to my seat dumbfounded and speechless and decided to keep quiet and just move on. I thought to myself "The chicken doesn't look too bad, I might as well just eat this and leave." I start eating my brown rice bowl with Chicken Veggie bowls and the rice was under cooked. There was hardly any rice as well and the veggies took up 60% of the bowl. This made me even more pissed off and just decided to yelp this and move on. Hopefully this doesn't happen to any other customers. I wouldn't say not to go here but my first time wasn't very that good. Maybe it was the employees (which didn't seem friendly as everyone else had said) or just bad luck. This is by far one of the very best Waba restaurants that I have ever visited. They always greet me as soon as I step in through the door. They work at a very fast pace getting my order to me within 5-10 minutes. The workers are always on top of there job - keeping the place clean. Especially the restrooms.
