Reservation is highly recommended since the restaurant is not that big. We didn't like this location since it's in Aurora Ave. There weren't a whole lot of beef selections for my taste. There were only 2 types of beef I liked. Maybe I'll try the ultimate A5 next time. I did like the Japanese Wagyu beef bowl.

Derrick the server gives up impressive service !! I don't even have to ask him to change the grill it's like he could read my mind . He keeps checking on us but did not bother us why we enjoy eating . He even showed us how to perfectly cook the A5 signature cuts for us . One thing about the ultimate waqyu experience though, the meat each round we ordered look slightly different quality . The A5 meat photo on their ordering system screen look superior than the real meat we got but it's still good. We did not get the shabu added on cause we could not care less about that . I think all the meat for the selected course meat help yourself bar is great too and I would come back for that .

There are a lot of places to eat next to where I am, so my friend and I looked around. This one had a visual menu on the outside of the restaurant that just drew us in. We decided to get a membership, which came with a really amazing cut of hangar steak wagyu, a the bbq combo with shabu shabu. We grabbed 8 different appetizers, some much better than others. The best ones were the Wagyu fried rice (if my mom saw me eating rice an at all you can eat place, she might disown me, but this was phenomenal), i think a chicken skin dumpling and the chicken karaage. These were all pretty amazing and I would definitely get these again, but not sure about the rest of them. There was a place where you could get a bunch of dumplings. I would say this isn't the place to go to eat dumplings, as much better ones exist in the world. There was this area where you could pick different things to put over rice. I skipped the rice and just got the Japanese Wagyu bowl. I think this was my favorite thing they had as the sauce was just so rich and flavorful, plus the meat in it was so tender. They have a jasmine and black milk tea dispenser, and I don't even know how many refills I got of the jasmine milk tea, but I would come back for that too! Next comes the meats. We tried every cut of meat we could for the bbq, except the chicken. Absolutely all of them tasted amazing, especially the rib tips and the short rib. The one that tasted the least flavorful of the bunch was the big piece of meat, but I don't recall which one that was. Everything else was at a really high level of quality that we definitely appreciated. For the shabu shabu, the meats that came with that went so well with the sukiyaki broth, especially after we got our mushrooms, bok choy and garlic in it. Both the egg dip and the sesame dip were definitely the way to go as well. For desserts, their egg tart was phenomenal. They also had these cups of mango and strawberry that were amazing too. The strawberry one had a rose water flavor that just pulled it all together. The tiramisu one I guess can be good if you like coffee. The part that is overwhelming though. It is REALLY hard to cook over fire, boil meats in a pot and eat at the same time. I don't think I'm physically capable of doing all 3 at once. But the service here is great. The atmosphere here is great. And I'm excited the membership comes with a free birthday meal that I'll use in La. I think this is a great place to come eat!

Food was great and service was attentive! Came here for Father's Day weekend and we made reservations in advance which I highly recommend. Theres a parking lot and it's inside a plaza with other restaurants and an Asian family mart. The self service bar had a lot of options - cooked proteins, dim sum items, meat to grill, hot pot meat and veggies, rice, desserts (cakes, ice cream, egg tarts) milk teas were also pretty good! It's a little overwhelming because they have different tier options for pricing. We got the highest one which lets us order off the kiosk and get the wagyu meats. We also ended up joining their chubby club membership which hopefully kind of pays for itself if you keep coming back. Soup base for the hot pot was tasty and they changed the grills upon request and if they notice it getting dirty. I appreciate that this spot also is kid friendly. I brought my one year old and he sat in the high chair and also enjoyed wagyu meats.

The service is incredibly kind, attentive, and overall had a wonderful experience. It's all you can eat, was roughly $50 per person if I remember right for the lowest level. But even then it's sooo much food so I can't even imagine adding hot pot on top, although that sounds really good. Would be great for larger groups too, I went with only two other people, but the tables are big and they also have plenty of room.

Came here on a Wednesday for dinner around 6pm and there was no wait. To check the wait, you can call and they have an ai call system to give you an update and they also text you afterwards to let you know the wait times if you asked about it. I've also been to the other location in Tustin, CA and compared to that location this one is smaller and does have less options but this is still pretty good. The staff is very nice and friendly. The meats were good and were replenished once low. My favorite was the black pepper beef cubes. The matcha nama chocolate Swiss roll cake was very popular, unfortunately I didn't grab it in the beginning and it was out by the time I went for dessert and the staff said they didn't have anymore. I would recommend getting it first if you see it!

I was skeptical since I've been to AYCA BBQ where you grab your own meats and the meats are usually pretty low quality, however, this was such a great experience. There are three tiers and we picked the highest where it was BBQ + Shabu Shabu + A5 wagyu ($75 each). The shabu shabu is a smaller pot, but it's still AYCA. There's a large selection of meats, classic briskets to beef tongue and duck. There were also wagyu mini sliders too. There are a handful of fried items that's a part of the tiers, but we mainly just stuck with wagyu. The wagyu was delicious, although thin, you can order a lot. Some of the wagyu was large, but there were scissors to cut it smaller. There is a time limit though, you can only order every 5 minutes and I believe you can eat for about an hour. There's also a small selection of sweets: soft served ice cream, mousses, swiss roll cakes, and fresh fruit. There are vegetables, greens, and mushrooms for the shabu shabu as well. There were also some dim sum, but I didn't try any. Service was fast and friendly. And they even made our friend a small slice of cake for his birthday, that was very nice! I was very impressed with the ventilation that's built inside the grill, so the smoke is suck up before it gets into the air and stink up your clothes/hair!

Wagyu factory (part of the chubby group) takes over the old niku feast space in front of asian family mart. They're perfect for a group of 2-4 and offer self service meat, sides, and desserts. It can get a little expensive with non-members paying about $50 before tax/tip for the lowest tier. Moving up the tiers includes other cuts of meat and a portable shabu option. If you want to become a member, there's a fee associated with it. There's different cuts of wagyu cuts for shabu and bbq but it didn't seem to matter which cut you got. There's also some self serve dim sum, sliders, cooked meat toppings (Taiwanese braised meat, curry, etc), and veggies that are specifically for shabu unless you want to grill it. There's a small menu of fried items (karage, chicken tenders, chicken skin gyoza, shrimp). There's a wide assortment of drinks like soda, yuzu tea, and milk tea. Lastly for dessert, there's ice cream, different rolls, egg tarts, and different cakes. Overall, everything was solid from the meats to the sides. Although everything was good, they need to update the table layouts. For our party of 6, there was only 1 grill in the middle which ends up being very crowded which is why 2-4 people is the ideal group side. For our party of 6, gratuity was included at 15%.

Wagyu Factory has become our go-to for AYCE bbq! We have tried their wagyu option and it was great but we usually are already more than happy with their regular bbq option. My favorite meats are: bone-in short rib, wagyu karubi, and finger meat slice. I love cheese corn so I always get a couple from their buffet bar. I also love that they have a good selection of drinks - my favorites are the black milk tea and the jasmine milk tea. For desserts, their cakes are so-so so I would go for the soft serve and egg tarts. Service is usually great. We've been assigned to Hendy's area a couple of times and he's amazing! One downside is that the wait is usually long (about 2 hrs). They have started opening reservations for select time slots on Yelp so definitely get those if you can. If you anticipate visiting this place again, join the chubby club! You get discounted rates, a free birthday meal, and you earn points for free premium meats.

Delicious all-you-can-eat Wagyu BBQ & hotpot. The meats are all so good and of high quality. Some truly melt in your mouth. Their self-serve hot dishes are also so good (except for the curry that's a bit salty). We were expecting a long wait as we arrived exactly at noon, but we were seated in less than a minute. Our server, Hendy, is also very attentive. Thanks, Hendy! The place is not big, so getting around to the self-serve hot dish area could be a bit of a squeeze. Overall, two thumbs up!!

Wagyu Factory kept almost all of the same seating as the previous Niku Niku, so each booth fits about 6 people with 1 grill each. Only one section has 2 grills for 1 party. The Friday dinner wait time without a reservation was at least 2 hours estimated. Good thing we had a reservation! The wagyu karubi was one of the best cuts, but it was also one of the fattiest ones creating more flames. Luckily, the server would change the grill and/or lower the temp when we cooked those. I was surprised my hair didn't smell like I had been BBQing afterwards. I found that the appetizers were all pretty mediocre except for the Japanese wagyu bowl. The curry rice and kimchi pork bowl were the only bowls I didn't try. Both the octopus and kimchi "buns" split open when trying to grab them. None of the fried appetizers stood out, but that day maybe the fried oysters and shrimp tempura were slightly better than the takoyaki, chicken skin gyoza, and chicken karage. If I could do it over again, I wouldn't have focused so much on appetizers and should have eaten more of the wagyu. The tablet didn't clearly indicate how many items came in each hot dish, so it was confusing when some came individually or with random amounts. It would help if the pics matched how many come in each order, so people don't end up overordering - leading to food waste. Dessert wise - the egg tart and red bean taiyaki were my favorites. The mousse was just artificial flavored fluff. The tiramisu mousse had no hint of tiramisu at all, but the mango mousse did taste like regular mango flavoring. The milk tea dispensers don't work as quickly as the other beverage dispensers, so I ended up trying about an inch of each one. The jasmine one was surprisingly not sweet.

I came here when it was still Niku Niku and we went all out with the A5 hotpot experience. They had three different shabu broths. The A5 was super tender and definitely the highlight. There's also a side bar where you can grab extra meats for shabu plus veggies and other add-ons, which I loved because you can mix and match whatever you want. The grill would get really hot sometimes and the flames would flare up pretty big, so it was kind of chaotic to watch--but also really cool at the same time. It definitely made the experience more exciting. Our server Angel was really helpful and explained the menu in a way that made everything easy to understand. And at the end, we got ice cream cones, which was such a cute little finish.

came in on a saturday evening and only waited 30 minutes! Service was great, Hio, our server was AMAZING and explained the menu and concept well. The ALL YOU CAN EAT is well worth the price. You get a buffet of assorted dumplings and some great Japanese style beef bowls! The meat quality was top notch and seasoned well, so much to choose from. I LOVED ATHE wagyu knuckle and pork belly, eat it with the "special salt" so fire. They also had food from the kitchen that was also included, Chicken Karage was perfect, as well as the crispy shrimp tempura. They also had a boba fountain, as well as soft service ice cream and deserts! This place is LEGIT! For 55$ , the value is insane and I left in a food coma! Would definitely come back, everything was tasty and plentiful.

Every single worker in this restaurant was so friendly so sweet & so respectful! The energy was just great! Me and my boyfriend went earlier today, food was soooooo tasty, juicy & seasoned to perfection! I had the NEW YORK STEAK!! As a New Yorker missing home I decided to get that steak , I got my steak medium well! Best choice I made than my sides were the garlicky mash potatoes & Mac and cheese! When I tasted the food my mouth instantly started watering , I truly loved the food I received today! And my boyfriend had the ribs , Mac and cheese with chili , he loved it so much! Our waiter taking our order his name I hope I remember correctly, his name is Jake ! I know it started with a J , he provided phenomenal service, just so genuine and real! He completely loves what he does and I truly respect and appreciate everything he done for us today. Deserts and my manhattan drink was great! I even loved how the chef came out checking up on everyone making sure everyone was loving the food he cooked! That's a true chef right there. PROPS TO EVERY SINGLE PERSON IN THIS LOCATION ABSOLUTELY AMAZING! HIGHLY HIGHLY RECOMMEND THIS LOCATION! I will DEFINITELY BE COMING BACK TO THIS LOCATION! I hope each and every worker reads this review knows they are the best and keep being you guys and each and everyone of you deserve a raise! Keep being amazing !

Friday's special was beef rib tacos. The special comes with one side. I opted for Mac and cheese. My plate also came with chips and salsa, a nice surprise. The taco had a generous portion of beef rib meat. They may look small, but two tacos are very filling. The Mac and cheese was also delicious. This will definitely fill you up if you're hungry.

A great place to go with family or your lover. The all you can eat concept drew me here hahah. it is hard to find a solid "all you can eat" restaurant that is not only worth the price & location but also worth the food. You come in, choose your selection (per person that is) of what menu food you want (ranging from $35 to $45) and you're set. Though you have small portions, you can choose more if need be until you're full. If you're ever in Seattle, try this gem out. You'll love it. The only minor thing i didn't like about this place is the hype of Wagyu beef. I ordered the menu with wagyu and when i ate from the wagyu menu, it was ok, it wasn't the best. I finally realized that wagyu comes in different tiers, ranging from 1 to 5, 5 being the most delicious and of course more expensive (which i don't think they offer here). 5 also has the most fatty and delicious wagyu that just melts in your mouth. I think this was a tier 2 or 1. That's all hehe.

Legend has it that tens of thousands of years ago, our ancestors lived by eating raw meat and…read moredrinking blood. One day, lightning struck a tree, causing a massive forest fire that killed many animals. Our ancestors then discovered that cooked meat tasted much better than raw meat. This is why roast meat has always been regarded as an important part of the human diet. Today I gathered with friends and chose this barbecue restaurant. It's located north of Redmond, with a prominent sign and plenty of parking. Ambiance: The decor is creative, but it feels quite contradictory. Barbecue is inherently a very "Jianghu" (lively, rough-and-tumble) kind of thing, yet the restaurant leans toward an artistic, literary style. When I used to run my own restaurant, I followed a principle: avoid anything unrelated to the core dining experience. Seeing many books on the shelves here, I understand they're trying to bridge Jianghu and artistry -- but it clearly feels out of place. That said, the place is very clean, and the stickers/decorations are festive. Service: My high rating for this restaurant is largely based on the service. After we sat down, we were given free appetizers -- braised peanuts, which tasted great. The staff training is very professional, whether it's taking orders, making recommendations, attending to us during the meal, or checking on tables and refilling water. All excellent. Taste: Jianghu-style cuisine is characterized by boldness, satisfaction, and not sweating the small details. We ordered spicy hot pot (Malatang), spicy hot pot skewers, grilled beef, lamb, chicken gizzards, oysters, and many other items. First, the Malatang and spicy skewers tasted almost identical, so it felt like eating the same thing. The grilled skewers were just average -- neither good nor bad. The oysters were very tasty. However, the shrimp in the spicy skewers were very unfresh, which was disappointing. "By the way, the prices at 'Friendship Skewers' are anything but friendly -- I think it's quite overpriced overall."

We drove pass by it a lit if time and we finally tried it since we lived the similar restaurant in Pirtland and we were not disappointed at all. The skewers came with variety if flavor, not just the same seasoning for all. The variety if skewers were all also very interesting and amazing. Service is very attentive and skewers came out in waves which is perfect. Super recommend this restaurant if you love skewers.

While it's not the best BBQ, it gets the job done with great service and prices especially when you're craving it and in the neighborhood. I had the lipstick sandwich, which I got with beef brisket, and also comes with coleslaw, dill pickle, and mustard BBQ as toppings. The meat was tasty, and the toppings were well balanced. The bread was pretty standard as well. What really impressed me was the cornbread. It hit the perfect cornbread notes to my preferences - really rich, buttery, almost melt-in-your-mouth texture with prominent butter-corn notes. Seriously one of the best cornbreads I've had in my life! And such a great value at the way its priced, like the rest of the menu. Definitely check it out, if anything grab a piece of their cornbread.

They have a few seatings but not much and it can get cramped. Foodwise: Brisket sandwich: pretty good, the brisket was soft and flavorful. It's simple but satisfying Pork ribs salad: pork had barely meat on it, it wasn't tender and kinda bland, you definitely need the sauce. The salad was a bit much in terms of dressing. I wish they had the dressing on the side so I can put as much as I want. They were nice and gave us 3 ribs though instead of 2. Chili: came with chips. Pretty standard nothing special. Overall, it's a pretty average place. The service was good though. The people are super nice and price is good as well.
