Stumbled across this place while shopping on Valencia. Will definitely be coming back... the woman at the front was so nice and comforting. The food was fresh and the portions were really good for the very low price. Everything was amazing!

The lady at the counter was very sweet, and the food and portions were great! I even have some leftovers for tomorrow's lunch. A great, affordable, and tasty option!

Amazing!!! Best Chinese food I have had in a long long time! The freshest and highest quality food. Today they did not have broccoli and beef or sweet and sour chicken and I am not to sure if they have these Chinese staples ever but honestly after ordering their pork item (Amazing!), orange chicken (amazing!) lo mein, chicken curry, teriyaki chicken and kung pow chicken I don't need my go to Chinese items. Cannot wait to come back

You have to try this place! I walked past this place and had to stop and look at the food in the window. The lovely lady at the front counter was helpful and respectful. The food looked good and tasted great. My meal, green tea, and two sodas were less than $22.00. So worth the try!

Super sweet owner. Food was fresh and coming straight from the kitchen as I entered. Lomein was on point and veggies were super fresh. Nothing overly salted and cooked perfectly.

I came here for lunch where the food is served buffet style and you have your choices of 2 to 4 items. Prices start around $6-7 and go up for each item by about $1.50. There were a variety of different dishes ranging from what looked like orange chicken to fried rice to various veggies. Do note that rice counts as an item, so if you want two entrees and rice, that's 3 items. I ended up getting the chicken curry and pork spareribs. The curry is a yellow curry that comes with potatoes and carrots and tastes okay. It's not particularly amazing but it is flavorful and good enough. The pork spare ribs were not too bad either, but they don't really taste all that amazing. I guess for kind of a fast food feel the food wasn't too bad. I'd skip the steam rice, surprisingly that was quite dry and unpleasant. There was also this tamarindo tasting drink which was interesting to find here. The lady serving was super friendly though and the service was otherwise excellent.

We stopped by here to eat lunch and I asked to use the bathroom. I was told there wasn't a bathroom. Ok...went all the way to the public bathroom and then returned for lunch. Horrible spicy chicken and very bland veggies. Then I decided to see if I could at least wash my hands, went to the back and low and behold there is a bathroom!!! She lied to me and when I called her on it, all of a sudden she couldn't speak English! Would definitely not recommend in any way, shape or form!

    Chicken curry, spicy chicken, plantains.

Stop by here often for lunch; great food and good prices, friendly staff. The orange chicken and the veggies are the best.

Our party of 4 ordered the fried hawt rabbit, spicy Singaporean crab with fried milk bread, Hong Kong black pepper steak, and beef chow fun noodles to share family style. Overall, we were super impressed with all the food. Everything other than the chow fun were super unique, but all the flavor combinations worked so well together. While the chow fun wasn't unique, I'd say it's still a very solid dish. Everyone in my party left full and satisfied. The food is a bit on the pricey side for it what it is, so I wouldn't come here regularly but I think that it's worth coming for a special occasion. Service here is super friendly and attentive--our waitress checked in on us frequently and brought us extra napkins and gloves for our food, which was super appreciated. This restaurant is on the smaller end and does have a long wait, so if you can, I'd recommend making a reservation.

One note is that parking can be a bit challenging so get there a bit early. The inside is lively and filled me with so much nostalgia with the decor. The staff is really attentive and friendly. I also appreciate the free peanuts and cucumber salad that you get when you're seated. My boyfriend and I ordered a lot of food because we wanted to try so many things! The lamb skewer was super moist and had a nice flavor. The XO escargot with milkbread had a nice buttery, garlic taste. The milk bread was fluffy and when dipped in the sauce it tasted very rich. We also got the clay pot rice and it reminded me of when I had it in China. The rice was crispy at the bottom and well seasoned. My favorite dish of the night was the squab. It was cooked excellently and the skin was really crispy. The five spice powder on the side really brought out the flavor of the meat. The eggplant was cooked well and portion was good but it didn't stand out as much as the other dishes. Overall, I would visit this place again. It definitely lives up to the hype. The squab and and clay pot rice were the stand outs to me but all the other food was really tasty as well.

(That sounded really snobby, I apologize ) Dim sum is comfort food for me, and 606 knocks it out of the park! Mongolian beef was excellent with a subtle kick to it, I didn't expect. Sesame balls and custard buns were nice sweet treats to wrap up the meal. Restaurant was bright, clean, and air conditioned. My mom used to get the pan fried noodles from here and i always used them as my reference point for any other restaurant that also serves this. It's what I remember and grew up with. So far only one has come close! This is all I remember from that place and how delish it was. Fast forward to yesterday. They were really nice and welcoming as soon as I went in. We didn't want to order too much, so we only got the beef hor fun and green onion pancakes. The pancakes were so good! Nice and chewy on the inside and crunch on the outside. The chow fun I had really high hopes for. My memories as a child having had chow fun all the time, had this distinct taste to it and made a certain way. Their chow fun was good, but I think it was lacking a little flavor? I also wish they used the wider noodles instead of these thinner ones. :( It wasn't bad at all, I just had a certain expectation. So far, there's only one place that is reminiscent of what I remember and it's in Sacramento. That being said, we will still come back because I would love to try the Simon's garlic chicken and more of the pancakes!

I do remember that I absolutely loved the Peking duck. They came with very thin, I can only describe it as tortilla crêpe things that you would put it in. I love this so much better than the standard buns. I also loved the fried string beans. It was tempura fried and very light. It didn't taste greasy at all. Out of three places we went to dinner for work, this was my favorite by far. It is right in Ghirardelli Square so there's a lot of things you can walk around and do either before or after.
