My honey and I hit up Wendy's at the very last minute(we try not to but sometimes it's our only chance). The gentleman working the drive thru not only was friendly but nailed our order even as they neared closing time. We seemed to be the very last order and our food was hot & fresh and they gave us like 20 nuggets instead of 10! haha We don't recall his name but he always gives amazing customer service and we appreciate it everytime. This happened about 45 mins ago. I was at the SCRIPPS ranch Wendy's drive-through on Tuesday, Nov. 2nd at 12:50 pm. The Hispanic lady working the drive-through cashier window was rude beyond anything I've ever experienced. She basically made fun of my mother's Asian accent (my mom speaks English well too). She was smirking and laughing when we tried to tell her that we did not appreciate her rude service. I went through the drive-through and had a coupon for her and she told us that she could not use both coupons. This is perfectly fine with me. But the way she looked at us and talked to us made us feel attacked. She handed us our food with force and was just straight-up rude. If she wants to keep her job, at least not let her work where she has to give customer service. She had no customer service manners at all. She doesn't know customer service at all. Additionally, she also gave us the wrong order (she handed us a drink that we didn't order). If I did not pick up on this mistake, the person behind me could have been missing a portion of their order. Careless mistake. Whoever is the manager here, please re-evaluate whoever you had worked at the drive-through today. Please fire her so this doesn't happen again to anyone else. This is by far the worst Wendy's I've ever been too! The workers are exceptionally slow and don't care whether you get your food or not!. They spend more time walking around confused than putting together orders. How about the fact that I spent 25 minutes standing at the register just waiting to be acknowledged? 02/27/20 came in at 5:30ish The manager on the night shift was amazing! Got an Apple pecan salad.. after fasting the entire day. I made 2 mistakes on not saying no chicken and no blue cheese after she even asked me about the blue cheese. I apologized and she was the sweetest, giving me the pleasure of having a great experience. We already knew what we wanted to order. The manager? Was training the person who was taking orders on the register decided to say, "when there are no customers on line, you go out there and clean!" She said this while looking at us... Apparently we weren't customers in her view... With that he left and we were not even asked to order... Or if we were helped... Giving this place a 4 star due to the wonderful manager, Maria and and staff- Tabatha. I came to the drive-thru last night a little before 10. There was a cart that appeared to be in the way.. but I saw cars in the drive thru, so I followed.. Tabatha starts taking my order through the microphone and within like 5 minutes.. A staff member comes out rudely stating they're closed for the night & asked 2 cars to back out. My order was already being taken but she gave me a dirty look and kept saying they're closed. I informed her I was there before 10 pm and that they are already taking my order. She responded with a sarcastic remark and went back inside. When I got to the window, I was going to speak to the manager about that unprofessional behavior. Come to find out that woman, was the manager- or one of them. Her name was Kaitlin. I kindly asked to speak with her and let her know that, I understand if you are having a bad day.. but you do not speak to people that way. Your tone was very rude and unprofessional. Kaitlin apologized. It was settled. But I hope this is a learning opportunity to be kind, always! I love Wendy's! I go several times per month in various locations. This is definitely the worst Wendy's in the county. Dreadfully slow service, dining room locked more than half the time, rude drive-thru personnel. The last straw for me was pre-ordering on the app to try to save some time. I still waited over 30 minutes at curbside and never got my food!! (Yep, dining room locked again.) The "manager" on duty refused to bring it to me and hung up on me when I called the store number. She wanted me to start all over -again- and wait in the drive-thru line. Horrendous. I'm done with this place. read more

Oh crap, it's been so long since I've yelp'ed!!! Dear Wendy's. You were my sustenance during the summer of 2006. You are the place that has fond memories of my parents taking me to your concord location and feeding us frosties and chili. You are the place that was one of my favorite fast food joints. What happened?!?!?! This location is clean and fairly up to date looking. So why 3 stars? I'd almost say their staff doesn't know what they're doing, but that'd be too mean and unfair to them. In all, the Wendy's is standard fair. What sets each location apart is ease of access, quality of presentation, and cleanliness. This place fails the first two. I got my order and was shorted a chicken nugget and the chili I ordered was slopped all over the cup and only 2/3 full. I know they never fill it up full but still! Maybe the SOP is one ladle, well you know what? I would like that one ladle to fit into the cup. I do have to give them credit though. After seeing the chili, I counted the nuggets in front of the guy by dumping them on the tray. Since i was shorted, I asked the guy, "Dude shouldn't it come with one more?" he gave me a couple more. The food is your basic Wendy's fare. You know what you're getting. The service, meanwhile, is consistently poor. This Wendy's is located in the parking lot next to two hotel chains. In other words, there are quite a few visitors who never return back to this location. As such, I'm positive the Wendy's staff doesn't concern itself with treating people nicely. That's too bad because the staff treats the nearby residents like crap, too. If I ever get service with a smile here it will be the first time. At some point these employees will be making $15 an hour. Let me make a prediction: if the service is still as crappy as it is now, many people, including me, will stop visiting this spot. At $10 an hour I can tolerate it. At $15 an hour I won't abide by it. I hope management reads these reviews. I'd guess you have a morale issue at this spot. The McDonald's up the road used to be like this as well. Corporate came in and cleaned the place up. It's much better now. Wendy's, if it's smart, would do the same thing here. read more

This is my regular Wendy's. I first started coming here when I was a DoorDash driver and they always made sure to triple check the order when I told them that fact. Since quitting DoorDash, I have returned as a regular customer a handful of times. Everyone is always very nice at the order box and at the window. My orders are always correct and fresh. Wendy's, a fast food establishment built on a long tradition of serving delicious food to the public. This place had the best fast food that I've ever had, but there was one thing wrong with the joint: the fact I got food poisoning. I ordered a cheese burger with a lemonade and was excited to dig into my meal. It was a fulfilling lunch, but something wasn't right. My stomach started to feel a bit woozy a couple of hours after eating the food. Then, it struck me. As I was watching a movie late at night, I started to feel the urge to throw up and use the toilet. I didn't think of it as much. However, the next day was the worst. I couldn't be off the toilet for more than 20 minutes and my body was completely fatigued. For the next 24 hours, I had to make the toilet and my mattess my new home. It was horrible. I was in pain. Fast forward to the next day, my joints felt stiff and they started to hurt a bit. I couldn't keep down any food and I could barely drink anything. As I was in pain, all I could think about was what caused this. I traced back my steps to what I ate and it all boiled down to one thing: that fricking Wendys meal. That place was the roots to my suffering. I stayed strong the whole day and managed to fall asleep at 4 AM without the pain of having to throw up or shyt. Day 3, I'm a bit better, but I'm still throwing up. In conclusion, I did not deserve God's divine judgement as all I wanted to do was enjoy a nice meal for lunch and have a good day. In return for purchasing a meal, I got stabbed in the back. Another visit here with a coupon with buy 2 cheeseburgers with fries and drink for $10. The service was good, but the food did come out a little faster than usual. I got it within 2 minutes. The food was good, but I am used to Wendy's of do not make it until you order it. I appreciate the refill that they did for me before I went home. Did I mention free wifi? Not only do they take at LEAST 10 minutes in the drive thru, they mess it up every time I come to this Wendy's. Management has a lot of work to do because I've never had a good experience and I try to give the team the benefit of the doubt. Well First I came here for the Great Deal they had Going for any Size Fries for only 1 Dollar and of course I had to get Two orders of Large Fries and I got the famous Deal they have here which is 4 for 4 Dollars which I got the Bacon Cheeseburger and it came with a small fry and Soda with Chicken Nuggets . The Food came out Pretty fast and Those Fries are so Good !! The only thing is the service is so so but not the best !! I ask for BBQ Sauce for my Nuggets and when I got home there were no sauce in my bag not even Ketchup for my fries !! Come on At least ask your Customer if they would like Ketchup !! Just shows how the service here is below average but please next time ask your customers if they got everything !! This location is located right when you get off the Scripps Poway Parkway Exit right off the freeway next to Chilies . Overall experience is Good Food and Service needs improving !! Since Wendy's had left Mira Mesa Boulevard to make way for Santanas/MXN (DAMN YOU), AND had been removed from UCSD's Price Center (DAMN YOU x2), this has been the most "convenient" location for me, a poor entry-level Mira Mesa living college grad. Yeah it's not super far from home, but it's enough to be "not convenient." Maybe I take it back... the drive is not that convenient, but my wallet appreciates it. A couple bucks can satisfy even my infinite appetite, with options like the Classic Double-Stack and Spicy Chicken Nuggets on their value menu. If you wanna talk about VALUE, those items together will award you 33 grams of protein and cost you two bucks, which is probably better than McDonald's, Burger King, or Jack in the Box can do for you. I wish this Wendy's would be open longer. There's been a couple of instances where I'd drive my butt over the freeway for a late-night Double Stack dinner, only to be left empty-handed and empty-belly. read more
