I typically stay at the office for lunch because I either work through my lunch, I eat my meal at my desk or I eat and read in the conference room where no one would bother me. Last Friday I came here to meet a colleague. I have never met her. Yum O!! Was heading to catch a show Next door with my Brother when we decided to grab a quick bite first. Although there are several options in this shopping center, we were coaxed in by the friendly guy standing outside handing out menus. He mentioned they'd just remodeled and changed the menu. The GM was there too and he was so nice and came around to all the tables making sure each customer was happy. Huge props for that. The menu is large but not overwhelming. LOVE that every item can be turned into a bowl instead of a flatbread or wrap. You get it YOUR way here. We ordered: Korean barbecue steak bowl - $11.95 Delicious and pretty large. Lots of goodies in this bowl. My only wish was that the steak had a bit more flavor. Other than that, it was delicious and my brother ate every bite. Bulgogi beef bowl - $11.95 So good! Lots of goodies in this bowl too. I loved the orange squishy things that kinda resembled tofu but we couldn't quite figure out what it was. The meat in my bowl was good however like the Korean beef bowl, I think it needed a bit more flavor. And a nice option would have been rice vinegar along with the Soy and other bottled sauces. But that's me. I like a little vinegar in my rice. My brother got the jasmine milk tea and really liked it. I'm not a big fan of those so I stuck with water. They don't have a soda machine so it's bottled beverages or they have teas and flavored waters made in house. The sample of the pineapple one was pretty good. We really liked the food here. And the customer service is great as was the cute little dining area. They also have a patio that almost doubles their seating which will be awesome when the weather warms up. Chicken tikka masala flatbread wrap - pretty good, but I felt that the Indian spices didn't quite take center stage. Maybe it's because the added vegetables had the effect of diluting the flavors; nevertheless the overall taste was good. Furikake salmon bowl - a very generous serving of salmon on a bed of rice, bean sprouts, and carrots, topped with slices of avocado and a garlic aioli. The salmon was cooked well and the flavors blended well. Chimichurri steak wrap - really great flavor with plenty of fresh vegetables added. Saigon salmon - wrapped in rice paper, this was unexpectedly large. I did not actually try this, but the two people who shared it were very happy with it. There are several vegetarian options that we were tempted to try but decided to leave them for another day. This place is very eco-conscious - the water cups are aluminum and for the boba they offer aluminum straws for those who eat in. Everything is compostable, including the takeout boxes. He was super friendly and asked all of our questions and even put up with our bad jokes. His name was PJ and he was hustling the whole time we were there. He greeted people, cleared off tables, brought food to those waiting. He even got me a fork. I was super impressed by his cheerfulness, great customer service, and work ethnic. I wish every place had a PJ. The food was really good. I tried the Vietnamese Shrimp Bowl. PJ said that most people don't order the rice paper wraps, but he didn't know why because they're really good. I didn't really want the extra carbs so I went with the bowl, but I bet it would be really good in a wrap. The menu is huge with either flatbread made fresh, rice paper wraps, or nori wraps. The cuisine seemed to reach dozens of cultures around the world. I was impressed. Overall, this was a great place to grab lunch. I am looking forward to returning and trying something new. read more

I saw this establishment on Door Dash and everything looked and sounded really good, so I decided to give it a try! I wanted something smaller, so I ordered the kids Thai chicken wrap, though there were many other things I was considering. I also ordered a jasmine milk tea with boba. The wrap was quite large for a kids size! The flavor was great, but there was very little chicken in it. It was mostly rice, which was a disappointment. The milk tea was a HUGE let down. The tea lacked flavor and the boba lacked flavor. On top of that, the paper boba straw tasted like, well, paper, so it made the tea taste like straw, since the tea had little to no flavor to begin with. I ended up throwing it out... This is my favorite place to eat in the Mercado Shopping Center. It's always fresh, always delicious, though sometimes messy; I think some preparers are better at putting together a solid wrap than others. My two favorites are the Satay Chicken, which is in a rice paper wrapper like a giant spring roll, and the Korean BBQ Steak, which is wrapped in nori like a giant sushi roll. The quesadillas are also delicious. Their rewards program is simple and works well, except for online orders, which even if you use a linked card do not register and you have to contact their customer service, but they fix it quickly.
