Recently moved to the area and had a terrible experience at another mechanic. They did not even know how to reset my light and I had to stay an extra 30 minutes just for them to figure it out. Took my Car for a oil change a while back. The service took longer than normal, but I didn't mind the wait too much. However, when I drove my car back to my house, I noticed that my oil was empty. The mechanic who changed my oil forgot to screw on the drain cap and lost all my oil. Luckily I was able to tow my car back and have then screw back on the drain cap and put back the oil. I think this sort of sloppiness in unacceptable, especially considering how much damage could have happen to my car if I did not catch the empty oil earlier. BE Careful folk. This is a terrible place that I never faced as auto service customer. I thought they would charge more than they advertised. It 's ok when people doing business. They ad the price for normal oil change under $20, but my Lexus was charged almost $100. It 's ok. However, they tried to explore your pocket by asking to do something more than your request.and tell you s/t could happen on the road. As they said so. I followed their advise and my total bill is near $200 for the visit with oil change. Be careful, you can end up with $$$$ but they did terrible job on my Lexus. After few days of oil change while I was driving my Lexus the cover of the oil panel come off on the road. I am so unhappy came to the shop and requested them to install the cover. The owner told me that they are not liable for this thing happened after customer left their shop. I could not believe they treat customer this way. My short conclusion is you should think twice before bring your car to this place. The way of service not professional at all and very costly at the end. The average time for an oil changed was doubled. With the number of people waiting, I expected a longer wait time, but no one was hustling to work faster. I went in for a Smog Check which is normally pretty straight forward and routine. The guy in charge was rude and also tried to upsell other repairs, like air filters (can do it myself), transmission oil change (have a mechanic I trust, see my other reviews) and got rude when I declined. Said "good luck with that" which at the time I though was a little menacing. When driving my cay home I turned on the air conditioning and it was making a loud noise. It was coming from the area of the cabin filter. I removed the filter and reached into the fan area UNDER where the CABIN filter rests. I found a fully intact receipt which was originally in my glove compartment, which shouldn't be able to get into fan area through the filter. I took them out and the noise disappeared that was occurring when the air conditioner was turned on. The air conditioner still doesn't work. I will be looking for other issues, but based on this I feel it is too much of a coincidence. Also the next day when I registered online the registration was accepted but they said it was incomplete and I would be sent information from the DMV in the mail to complete my registration. Never had this problem before, the only thing I can think of is the Smog certification info wasn't sent. I will update this if it isn't that, but this hasn't happened to me before and I've done online smog registrations many times. (update: received the registration with tag without needing to complete anything else) However, main issue is after going there, fan had objects that shouldn't be there and couldn't have gotten there on their own and coincidentally air conditioner was no longer working which was on and working fine when I arrived there. Attitude, shoddy work (even if stuff in the fan was not on purpose) and my resulting mistrust about the air conditioner\registration based on the experience. A response to the reply, "First, cabin filters do not affect the functionality of the air conditioning system. The purpose of a cabin filter is to prevent dust particles and bad scents from entering your vehicle." This floored me about their knowledge, as the fan that had the debris behind the cabin filter is an integral part of the air exchange for an air conditioning system. WOW! Also read up on why or why not to replace transmission fluid, it is not always recommended as this can cause issues too. (again, I have a mechanic I fully trust to do the right things for my car) I only complained about the attitude and comments when I refused to use their service for doing anything extra and the stuff in the fan under the cabin filter. read more

I went in about six months ago for an oil change and the owner told me about multiple problems my car was having. I told him to go ahead and print out the work he believes that needs to be done and I will review it. He complained and stated that "he doesnt survive off oil changes and I need to take my car now". So I told him I will gladly take the car now, but it was too late because they had already put the oil inside. The owner began to argue with me in a very rude manner and cursed in spanish when I finished paying. This guy is a joke, he is the most unprofessional person I have ever encountered. Tremendous customer service. I bought a 2009 Audi A5 and needed to get some additional work done on it. The dealer I bought the car from pointed me in the direction of Xpress and I couldn't be happier. From the beginning being greeted upon driving in to the welcome by the girls behind the counter, I felt welcomed and appreciated by going to them. Meeting with the manager Ali, he listened to what I needed to get fixed and was rxtre helpful. He explained it would take a couple days so I had to come back a few days later when I had the time off from work but everything is working beautifully now. The air con iPod chilling my bones again. The parking break is securing my car and the tail lights light up the night. The best compliment I can think of to offer is that if anything else happens to my car, I'll be taking the drive from Anaheim to Westminister to Xpress auto service! On 9/13/2013 took my truck to pass smog.... It failed. Same date took it to Xpress Auto Service.... Asked them if they can fix the problem. They said yes... When they called me with the total. They quoted me around $949.00. After talking to them they lowered the price. Paid $864.73, but before I could take the truck home they missed another fix... Which ran the bill up too $1000.00... I reluctantly agreed. On 9/16/13 took my truck back to smog.... it failed again.... When asked why the smog guy said "for the same reason as before". That the one item that could've been fixed to make it pass was never fixed. It was the catalytic converter.. (of which when he 1st quoted us the price he said was brand new.) He asked us to bring the truck back & also claimed to know the smog guy & said he could fix it. I later than got the call he can longer fix it...I had to pick up my truck & take it Plaza Muffler's Auto Serv Inc.. Because they can longer fix it. Another $180.00 charge. Now I know my truck is old, but when I asked if he could make it pass smog he should've never said "yes".( Even my boyfriend asked in the beginning if it was worth the price.) He said "yes". He should've been honest & gave us the real option We would've got a new car. Now $1180.00 later another company had to finish the job... So in the long run I could've had it fixed for $180.00, but got screwed by Xpress Auto Service for unneeded repairs mounting up to $1000.00. read more

I did all my research even did a google search on tires, I could have gotten a more affordable tire, person on phone said everyone will have their thoughts on tires. I feel I was taken advantage of and paid way to much for tires, do not need high end tires on old car. Will never take my car back there again.
