Felt like beer night so we walked from Ala Moana and skipped the line to get a bar seating. Half-yard beer was amazing and so was the pineapple beer! Also ordered food and I was so impressed by the cook on this steak and cilantro chicken. Steak was perfectly medium rare and it's definitely on par with a steak house. $50 for a 20oz ribeye is hard to beat around here. Service was amazing as well with quick and professional staff. Definitely going again!

We were looking for something casual and relatively inexpensive and Yard House hit that perfectly for us. We went in on a Friday for happy hour and had about a 20 minute wait for a table. When we got seated our waitress was prompt and helped us get our order in before happy hour was over. We ordered exclusively from the happy hour deals menu and the portions were extremely generous. Chicken nachos were tasty, my favorite topping was the quick pickled jalapeños, so delicious. Also got the Brussels sprouts and they were some of the better Brussels I've had, crispy and the perfect balance of sweet and spicy. The sliders were great for the kids, they still came with fries which I thought was surprising for an appetizer. The truffle mushroom pizza was also savory and delicious. We left we extremely full stomachs, leftovers to bring home, and a bill that was almost half of our other meals in Waikiki so far.

Nice vibe open air restaurant and our server was very attentive. We came in for drinks and appetizers! I totally forgot to take pictures of our haul. We got garlic fries, slider with fries and cheese appetizer which look like taters. I got a guava cider and it was good to my liking as not a beer drinker. Love the fruitiness and no bitter aftertaste. I can taste the guava and like that it was not sweet. As far as appetizers go, garlic fries on point ! You can taste the garlic which is not overwhelming. The cheese taters also great with or without the dipping sauce. Slider was just ok little dry. But the atmosphere was nice.

Very good happy hour here M-F 2:00-5:30. Reasonable prices by Waikiki standards, friendly and attentive staff and good pub grub fare food. Centrally located in the heart of Waikiki, extensive beer list. A must on your itinerary while in Waikiki.

Follow up-went back for lunch. I got the Korean Cheesesteak Sandwich-excellent! My wife got the Kale Salad with shrimp...also very good. Good service at the bar, and they had surfing (haven't seen that in a long time as a mainlander), and the Olympics.

One of the best happy hours in all of Waikiki. They have a lot of items at half off during happy hour. Check out the boneless wings, spinach artichoke dip, chicken lettuce wraps, sliders, and don't forget to have a beer and ask for Brian as your server!!

The yard house has the best hospitality & customer service! I wasn't happy with my meal & they brought it back with no hesitations & fixed it! The chef came out to personally check if the food was to my liking. The manager came out to talk to me & offered me something for the meantime. My sever was the absolute best, shoutout to Ernesto!! I sat outside today & the weather was perfect. Always good time at the Yard House!

Food was very tasty. I had the Korean cheesesteak and let me see it was very unique. Happy hour had many options of foods to choose from and drinks! Service was fast and spot on with everything. It was a little dark inside and some tables were a bit too close for comfort but other than that. It was a great experience.

Haven't been to Yardhouse in years but happy that I stopped in recently. The menu was extensive and ofcourse they have a TON of beers, seltzer, ciders on draft. The wait for a table was about 10 min but the bar and the Hightops behind the bar are open seating so we sat there. They have fall seasonal beers and a Pumpkin spice beer which I loved served with a sugar rim so yummy! The blue cheese and bacon burger was pretty good too! What really made the experience was Ernesto! Our server took excellent care of us and was very friendly and professional. He allowed us to sample a few beers before we decided and that was so nice thank you. Excellent service and great time!

So to start, if you stay at the Embassy Suites Waikiki, you get a 10% discount. Nice little perk of the hotel. Because it is connected to the hotel - easy and fast to get to. Food was excellent tonight. Great portion size and not over- or under-seasoned. We got there at the end of happy hour so the place was a bit busy - our server missed a few items or didn't check on a beer we ordered - which came as we were paying the check...

Burger - not worth it. Extremely overcooked.

Party of 3 on a Thursday night at approximately 7:30. Wait time: we were seated right away. Parking: No business parking. I recommend parking at Hale Koa outdoor lot within walking distance. Street parking is very very limited. Service: our server was quick and friendly. Drinks: They have a huuuuuge selection of beers both local and mainland. Food: The food here is the reason why the rating is only 3 stars. The burger was not cooked to the right temp and tastes dry. Fries tasted old as if they had been sitting under a food lamp for too long. The vampire tacos were lacking in flavor. The chicken sandwich was just okay.

We were warmly welcomed in and as I had a mobility scooter, the hostess put us at a table with room to store the scooter while we ate. It's an open air brew pub with high end finishes and touches, but with overall darker wood tones. Popular music of a wide variety played over the speakers, and I sang along, because, why not; We are on vacation. We ordered sweet potato fries to start, along with the mango cider and the guava cider (I preferred the mango). For lunch we ordered the tacos a la carte. The best by far was the Korean Chicken tacos, although the others were good too. Finally, shout out to our server, Mayz. She was super friendly, energetic, and followed up a few minutes after our food came out, and kept up on out drinks. Yard House has a treasure in her. I would recommend Yard House to anyone who likes elevated pub food with an international flair.

Food: delicious! Ordered the seafood jambalaya, a club sandwich (don't remember the actual name), and noodles (appetizer). Everything tasted awesome!! Service: they were super busy, not our waitress remembered to always check on us. Ambiance: nice and clean! Table turnaround was fast. This place never disappoints!

Every single item on the food and drink menu is crafted with such robust flavor with so much dimension in each bite. The drink menu is unique, I had a cocktail I can't remember the name of it but it had plum something and was created by one of the servers there. So cool to see employees own work on the menu, he shared with us how hard and long he worked on the craft cocktail to make it perfect. Now this is a bartender! Would definitely recommend making a reservation, unless it's just you and maybe one other than the bar is mostly open seating I think. I got lucky and walked in on a Sunday night and there happened to be two open seats at the bar which i hear is unheard of due to the popularity that is this restaurant. It's a cute restaurant and is definitely a well oiled machine

I came here 2 weeks in a row so this is the review for both times. The first time I came by I went…read morewith my coworkers for my graduation lunch. They were very busy but thankfully we had a reservation. We started with the Fete Spread as the appetizer, the spreads are delicious, I like the green one the most, its nutty and slightly earthy The red one is tomatoey n sharper and the white one is creamy and sweet. This app also comes with refillable toast, which we definitely made sure to get another serving of. Then I was going to get the Korean steak as my entrée, however my coworker got it and I wanted to try something different and new so I went with the beef pot pie per the waitress' recommendation. However, I really wasn't that good in my opinion. I felt like the bourbon in the pie filling made it taste off and unappealing to me. Then I got dessert because why not. We got a lilikoi cheesecake from the Millie Fete bakery. I did not like the cheesecake very much as well. The chocolate mousse on top was good, thw cheesecake itself was good as well. However, the crust also had alcohol infused in it, which made it taste off and bitter to me. I even asked my coworkers to taste it and they agreed. We also got a scoop of kulolo ice cream. I didn't realize it was going to ALSO be infused in alc, I think it was rum, so again, the ice cream tasted slightly off to me. Kulolo is already perfect why mess with it... Also my OTHER frustration was that it took an OBSCENE amount of time for the cheesecake and ice cream. Logically, the cheesecake would just need to be plated and the ice cream just scooped. However it took 15-20 minutes for us to get the dessert which is ridiculous in my opinion. THE SECOND TIME I came, it was a slightly better experience. We had the spread and toast appetizer like previously and it was good again. WE also got the quinoa cakes and it was super flavorful and crunchy on the outside. I got the Korean steak this time around because I must try it. It was good, the scallion rice was good, flavorful. The steak was okay, it tasted good but I think it was a bad cut/quality of steak (they said it was ribeye?), but there were a lot of the silverskin/gristle (connective issue that can't be bitten through). Made the overall steak experience very unpleasant. I'm not sure HOW much I'd want to revisit as they have some pretty good dishes but some others are a little worse quality. Plus because of how busy they can get, the service might be a bit lackluster and even frustrating.

In most of the orders we did have she had been very exceptional, and she also took the time out to consider certain detail details like my sparkling water for instance ... I finished off two whole glasses of sparkling water and she had went ahead and made a third as a takeout container for me... The Wagyu burger I ordered had been very good. It had a great texture throughout. I had asked for it to be medium well done and it was spot on whoever the chef was on June 15, 2026 at about 1 PM had made my burger exactly to the specifications I asked. Our table of eight had went ahead and shared a selection of three desserts. I personally felt the chocolate cake would've been a little bit heavy so I didn't have too much of that, but it had a very good taste. I did really enjoy the crème brûlée that pineapple crème brûlée had a very noticeable creamy delicious taste of freshness with the cream ... it might possibly be my favorite dessert at a restaurant and I may just come back to have just that... the piña colada cake was super moist and that was also very delicious... The ambience had been very good. There wasn't too much music being played, but it was quiet overall very noticeable on the crowd. There was not a very big crowd at all during our lunch reservation and perhaps that's why everything went smoothly. Jackie had been very good she had accommodated everyone --let everyone know when their orders were coming out if it was coming out late and she had been consistent with water and or drinks, especially with my sparkling water. I feel that this would be a great venue to go to the second floor is where the fire pit is and I feel that that would be a great place for a hang out to get drinks late at night and to hang with friends Again, thank you, Jackie, our waitress had been exceptional. MĀZE was the standout highlight meal of my trip to Hawaii this year. The chef's menu with drink…read morepairing was easily Michelin-star worthy. Taste, presentation, service, ambiance -- MĀZE really had it all nailed down. If there's one meal you should book for your trip, make it MĀZE. Although the menu looks short, it is deceptively filling. You start off your meal with a few amuse bouche bites. It's really a wonderful start, because the salmon toast was one of the best bites I had all night. The smoked salmon was melt in your mouth tender and the toast was fried to perfection. Another bite I really enjoyed early on was their "Fat bastard" oyster. I've never had this type of oyster before, but this one was especially plump, sweet, and had just the right amount of brininess to it. There's honestly not a single straightforward bite across the courses: everything has layers upon layers of flavor and a complexity that really accentuates the talent of the head chef. After the first course, there's an option to add a supplemental course for $34 -- a "Wagyu musubi". I cannot emphasize enough that this addition is a must. If you're coming as a couple, it's large enough that you're able to share a single one so that each person gets two bites. This bite is as delicious as it looks. The Wagyu is rich and fatty, and the crispy nori is the textural element that breaks up the melt-in-your-mouth texture of the beef. The tare delicately brushed on top adds a bit of saltiness to the dish and doesn't take away from the enjoyment and appreciation of the Wagyu itself. Another bite that I'll forever remember is the Jeju abalone dish. Served over a bed of finely minced edamame and served in a chicken jus, the dish had sweet, savory, umami, and all the right textures. I ate this dish especially slowly because I wanted to savor each and every bite for as long as possible. The abalone is tender and cooked perfectly -- not rubbery whatsoever. I overheard a chef saying that the tasting menu changes every month, and we had visited when they were mid-cycle. I believe some of the permanent menu items include the bourbon barrel smoked salmon toast and the wagyu musubi, but I really hope to see the Jeju abalone dish again someday when I visit in the future. Since MĀZE is from the the duo behind the famous cocktail bar -- Bar Leather Apron, just down the street, you would expect nothing less than extraordinary cocktails for the cocktail pairing. I can confidently say that there was not a single drink pairing that I was disappointed with -- both on the alcoholic and non-alcoholic side. My favorite cocktail of the night was their take on an Old Fashioned that was served with the Washugyu flat iron galbi course. I simply cannot say enough good things about MĀZE. Do yourself a favor and book a reservation right after you book your plan tickets to Oahu -- you won't regret it.

So glad I went with the cocktail pairing bc I wanted the whole experience. It was really lovely and fun to sit at the counter watching all the young people assemble the food so carefully and our bartender craft our drinks. Each drink was perfect - either refreshing or light or sweet or smoky and really did complement each dish. My fave was the egg white gin one that came with the fish course. My fave foods were the charred lettuce that came with the meat course and the shave ice was superb - corn syrup and plenty of black sesame it was not too sweet and so refreshing! Overall a very special meal and a place to keep in the rotation for special occasions. I'd say definitely go with the cocktail pairings bc that is what makes this place unique. Also if you want to get some courses with a mocktail instead of getting all four as cocktails they will accommodate that - then you don't need to get as tipsy. I wanted to try all the cocktails so I just didn't end up finishing each drink - not bc they weren't delicious, they were! I just didn't want to go past pleasantly buzzed. We didn't get any add ons and were still full by the end of the meal. Clean bathrooms and bright space and awesome service. Not a single misstep.
