Chantelle and James took care of us with patience and professionalism managing to get all the drink orders and lunch orders delivered promptly and correctly. The Yard House has a great selection of food and beverage, but to me, it's the service that keeps me coming back. Friendly, engaging, and polite staff make all the difference. read more

Scott is an amazing server but the food is starting to get blahzie. I ordered the poke salad and the I dunno why they would serve avocados this tough. I expect my avocados to be medium rare but these were well done. The fries were terrible and not fresh like they came from a different table's left overs. I'm really sad that their food is going downhill. read more

I always have a great time here. The bartenders are attentive, friendly and funny, which a plus for me. Food is spot on and the classic rock on on the speakers is perfect. I mean how can you not love Led Zeppelin, Heart, the red hop chili peppers etc! I've been coming here for over 10 years now and no matter who the bartenders are or the waiters and waitresses or the bar backs, it's always top quality service. The chicken nachos were so delicious- the salsa and quality of chips were very delicious. Will hands down get these again. The lobster garlic noodles are always bomb, but I have had better lobster noodles at other yard house locations. I love that they give you so much protein though! read more

Man, this place has really gone downhill. I used to enjoy eating here every now & then. Sure, the food is in the "junky" category, but does that mean it has to be like slop? There was so much sauce in the middle of these nachos that the dish turned into a soup, and a very spicy one at that. The perimeter was edible but there weren't nearly enough chips to match the heap of things that they just piled on top. Further to that, the drinks have no detectable alcohol in them. Ate here after a late football game out of desperation, but won't be coming back when it's early enough to eat somewhere else. read more

Went with a group of friends to grab lunch. I ended up waiting over 2 hours for a chicken nacho and I everest received it. After waiting that long I asked for my order to be canceled and the check for the ice tea and calamari. You would think since I waited so long I can at least get the check in a timely fashion but not so. My wife had to go to the front and ask to be cashed out. SMH....most likely will never visit this location again. read more

The food was good, though I recommend they make the nachos look a little more like they are on the picture! Mine was a huge mush of chips and gooey stuff. Aside from this, I want to call out Aiden. My son had left his name badge for the ACDA honor choir in his seat. And while going to a restaurant and getting your lost and found items is not uncommon, mine was a little more involved. The name badge wasn't upfront with the other name badges that had been left by other participants, nor was it in the booth where we had been sitting. Apparently, it had been thrown away! Aiden found it, and, before handing it to me, said, "let me sterilize this for you." He then went and personally cleaned the entire thing to make sure it was OK and handed it to me. Thanks for bailing us out and for going above and beyond Aiden! Woot! read more

Basic but serviceable American/bar food. Very expansive menu items which is convenient if you have multiple people in your party. The best thing about the restaurant is the table side screen for ordering and paying for your meal. Makes it very easy to split the check. read more

This place looks really nice and has good seating. I came here for my birthday dinner celebration and it was decent at best. Other factors just made it horrible. First off our waiter was terrible. I get he had other people to attend to but this guy wouldn't come fill up our drinks, my girl asked him for not a sweet drink, he gave us a drink that was basically a jolly rancher and she couldn't finish it with how sweet it was, he got my order wrong and then on top of that personally told me " you're not going to tip me?" Like a broke man. The tab was nearly 300$ and I don't care about the whole " if I can afford that I can afford to tip." If the service is terrible I'm not tipping especially when someone begs for it and after paying for my own damn birthday dinner. The food I got was mediocre at best the salmon had no flavor and the rice was dryer than the desert. They did give me some free dessert which was also awful. I could've just gotten pizza and enjoyed myself more without a 300$ bill and a crybaby waiter. Oh yeah, he even complained to one of our buddies that we didn't tip who works there and we ended up tipping him still so yeah I did tip. Never EVER EVER coming back here again. God bless read more

First time going to a yardhouse, and it was lovely! The food was delicious, and our server was very nice and accommodating. We ate some yummy chicken and fried calamari and I got a complementary crème brûlée cheesecake for my birthday! Pardon, have you been somewhere and absolutely loved loved the food? Yard house has a Vegan burger--yes, you've heard correctly! It's been out for some time now but I've only just heard of it as it's apart of their gardin menu. Nevertheless, I thought I would check it out. I walked in an thought I would do take out but on a whim decided to dine in. I was greeted and seated promptly. There was a nice amount of friendly people present for the time of day. Before even looking at the menu I already had an idea of what I would be ordering for today. Any guesses? Just in case you missed it, the vegan burger. That is what I ordered right along with truffle fries, as it comes with a side, minus the parmesan cheese. I was going to order the regular fries but then I decided to live a little. My waiter: was all, sooooo tell me what you want what you really really want Me: I'll tell you want I want what I really want--I wanna I wanna I wanna Vegan burger please and thank you lol ;) My waiter was friendly and sadly I don't remember her name. She took my order to the back and little while later like magic she had my vegan burger in hand. I already had my beverage of choice which was water (no surprise there) on the table with no ice and for a change lemon slices. I only squeeze the lemon juice inside water because you never know what is on the lemon wedges. Back to the burger, I took a bite and quickly took another. I was completely impressed! Super delicious and juicy, its mind-bogging! It has shiitake mushrooms, kale, avocado, tomato, daiya mozzarella, arugula, red quinoa and all on an onion bun. The flavorings all came together, this was my thought as I was chewing my food. The truffle fries were quite amazing as well, it had herbs and seasonings that made these fries so good! I wasn't sure what I initially expected but I was pleasantly surprised. I did skip dessert but I can almost never do both a meal and dessert--it's one and or the other. Rating: 2.5 stars Wow, this was such a disappointing experience. I usually love Yard House because I mean, what's not to love with their seemingly endless beer selection? But everything this time around was just.. bad (awful, if you will). SERVICE: Slow, soooo slow. To be fair, our group was pretty big (8 people) so I did expect everything to be a bit slower but not THIS slow. Waited 30 min after placing our drinks order for drinks to actually arrive. Waited another 20 or so minutes to place our food order (so about an hour after we were seated). Waited another 40 ish minutes for our food to arrive AND some of it was wrong/missing. Our waiter was super friendly and he really did try his best (even upgraded a few items for free), but there must have been some major mishaps in the kitchen that night or something. My inner hunger was screaming, but I kept it together (thankfully). FOOD: I ordered the BBQ chicken salad. The full portion is huuuuuge, but there's not much lettuce at all - it's more like a plate of fried onions with lettuce on the side lol (just because there's SO many fried onions). It's pretty heavy, so I recommend sharing it if you go for the full portion. Also ordered the clam chowder, which was.. interesting. I had a few friends try it and we're convinced they accidentally added queso (also on YH menu) or something to it because it tasted so off. They changed the truffle fries!!! They're no longer the thin shoestring fries, now they're thicker and the portion is smaller. So sad. I usually really enjoy YH food, so this was all around pretty disappointing. DRINKS: Ah, the savior of YH's rating. Goooooood as always. Highly recommend the belching beaver nitro peanut butter stout! Or y'know, if you're trying to die (just joking), get the new holland dragon's milk - ABV 11%, so be careful. Also just an FYI (especially if you have kids), once you tap into one of the premium games on the tablet (on each table), you'll be charged for it! $2 WHOLE DOLLARS. Basically nothing, but def a surprise. No warning at all, so I made that mistake just to check out some cute coloring game (I know, I know) and got charged. Don't let the cute pictures fool ya. I don't think I'll be back for food, but will probably be back for a few beers and happy hour (who can resist?). Also also, they do validate for 2 hours and the location is pretty convenient so.. let's be real, I won't be boycotting YH anytime soon despite this pretty awful experience. read more

Our waitress was quite nice. The food took a bit of time to come though. However the worst part is one absolutely reckless and inconsiderate waitress bumped into my daughter's head. Something needs to change because this is unacceptable and there are no excuses. Terrible! read more

2 stars for decent food and initial Service. After the first drink at the bar, we were actively ignored along with a good number of people. We tried getting the bartenders attention for 20 minutes and gave up. Just rude. I get it that they may have been short staffed, but acknowledgement would have greatly helped. Think it may have been better if we ate at the table and ordered drinks there. read more

Wife and I came here for a late dinner but ended up just getting nachos instead because we didn't want to eat too much so late. But the nachos were gooood. It's a pretty big order so well worth it. I guess it's bar food which I consider Yard House because of the drinks available. My wife had a beer with watermelon or something in it. She said it was so good. I don't drink but the wait staff was great at keeping my Diet Coke filled when they could. We came here on a Friday night and thought it would be crowded. It was and the bar was packed. But we only waited for maybe 5 minutes the most. Probably because it's such a large restaurant there is plenty of room to hold a sizable crowd. All in all a good place to come for casual bar food. Didn't get a dinner entree so can't comment on that. But this is a good place to go to for beer and snack. read more

I've been here a couple of times. It's about what you'd expect ... this place won't blow your mind or anything, but the food is generally not bad, and they're open later than most other restaurants in the area. The service tends to be reasonably friendly, but on the less-than-attentive side. Parking will be available in the area, but be prepared for some walking (unless you're lucky enough to score one of the curbside spots in front). In sum, this place is never my first choice for a meal, but it'll always do in a pinch (especially if it's late at night). read more

Overdue review: I went here in June and service was actually amazing! I don't expect much from chains and almost never write reviews for them but this Yard House location was the best I've been to. Our main course came out before the appetizers and our drinks took forever, so when our server found out she had the manager come over to help us out. Glad they took the initiative! read more

I went there around 3. It wasn't busy. My server took my drink order and took forever to bring it. I ended up ordering my own food on the tablet on the table. My food came faster than my drink. I ordered two plates of food because I had a giftcard and I wanted to use it up. I asked for box because I barely touched my other plate. He brings me the smallest box. I don't know how I'm supposed to fit everything into it. I had to leave half of my food. I give him my giftcard and he tells me the service is down and I can't use the giftcard. I traveled 40 mins to use this giftcard! If I was gonna pay for my food I would've went somewhere down the street from my house. Not only that, I got all this food just so I can use up the giftcard. I basically tipped him to bring my drink. read more

We were headed to an event at the Pasadena Convention Center and decided to stop in for a quick snack and some drinks. I always order the poke nachos at any Yard House location I visit and it never disappoints, I would recommend giving it a try if you haven't already. We had the Malibu Peach (sweet, good if you don't like the taste of alcohol) and the Salted Watermelon Margarita (strong taste of alcohol). The GM, Angel, has been professional and patient on two different occasions. I frequent YH for a specific dish and on my last two visits, I had questions about the dish. Apparently, the waiter notifies Angel when someone has a specific question or concern about a dish. Angel each time has been kind, patient and only desires to make sure that the questions are answered and that the customer is satisfied and welcome. By the way, try that Jambalaya dish when you get a chance. read more

The Yard House is located in the Paseo Colorado mall beside the Cold Stone Creamery and Rubios on the 2nd floor of the Victoria's Secret building. I can't say I'm really a fan of Paseo since everything is so disconnected from one another in this outdoor type mall. The Yard House while one of the larger places to eat at the Paseo takes almost all of the 2nd floor of the Victoria Secret "building". The area we sat in while still having a roof over our heads was open to the outside with ceiling fans as opposed to being indoors with AC. This seating area is quite limited when compared to how large the footprint of the indoor dining area is. Usually when coming to the yard house it's sort of a novelty to get the super long yard glasses and have what equates to 3 beers in one glass but not this go around. I just wanted a normal beer and we weren't planning on staying too long. My wife ended up ordering some sort of ice cream dessert with a coffee and my friend and I just had a few beers. For me I can't really associate this place with food as much as I do for drinks so it's probably why whenever I go to a Yard House I never eat but they do have a wide variety of beer which is always a win. read more

We went in when they were letting people dine in during covid, with social distancing. So, every other table was blocked off. All the servers were wearing a shield and mask, and making their jobs twice as hard with all the running around to take and bring your food. The food was good, especially the Ahi poke (I think it was an appetizer) The drinks was really great, especially the Pomegranate margarita. The only problem was their host OR seating arrangement. We made our reservation to sit at the patio. I understand with the social distancing and all, but they wanted to sit us up against a wall. Like all 6 of us were to sit in one row, all facing a wall. What's wrong with this picture? Awkward! We couldn't sit 3 on each side or around the table. Because if we sat the way WE wanted to we would be to close to the table behind us. Very inconvenient. So we decided to sit inside around the table. read more

They're a Thai restaurant, I hear the staff talking in Thai so I HAVE to assume that the Thai food we got would be good right?? Their Tom Yum noodle soup is YUMMY. So flavorful and enjoyable!
