Haven't been here in a while. The service is great cashier was on point. Always clean inside and my order was ready in 5 mins. I wish the chicken was a bit more juicy but still good cause my dog had some (she's picky). Garlic sauce is consistent soooo good with the chicken. I've been eating Zanchou since my teens and it's nice to have this place still open.

I always come here, Luis and Enrique are the best. Get tri-tip wrap with a falafel special, or the plates.

Update: They were closed to observe day of armanian genocide. Back open for business 4/25! I ordered my kabob plate and was delicious as always! Perfectly seasoned. Not too salty like other American chain eateries. Lots of veges and good quality meat. Didn't eat in and got it Togo so not sure what to say about ambiance. ------------------ CLOSED without notice! I don't know what happened because not single sign on the door and it looks like it was left without tying the loose ends. Hopefully that re open soon!! These pictures taken on 4/24/25.

4.5 half a star because the restroom either should be closed to the public or a makeover is needed!!!! -- A little mix up with my number being called since the cook switched the numbers and my food sat on the counter 7-10 minutes till they figured it out. -- The person who took my order was friendly and made eye contact. She explained the wait time to me. The soda machine was dirty and sticky and so were the tables. The room temperature was warm and stuffy. -- The kabob plate was 5/5 stars and it made me want to come back next time and get a wrap to go. 16th of September 2025

Looking for Delicious Mediterranean food in the SFV?…read more Panini Kabob Grill makes healthier, homemade Mediterranean food with fresh, high-quality ingredients! Great flavors and fresh, generous portions! We ordered: * Lentil Soup * Falafel Combo Appetizer * Beef Koobideh Kabob with Romaine Avocado Salad (FAVE - so flavorful and juicy. The salad is fantastic) * Charbroiled Chicken Shish Kabob with Romaine Avocado Salad (FAVE - huge chunks of juicy chicken. Love the Lemon Vinaigrette and avocado in this salad) For a low carb option, get the Romaine Avocado Salad with a Lemon Vinaigrette. This location has both indoor and outdoor seating. Sometimes it gets loud. Seems really busy with to-go orders. The restaurant was busy when we got there. Customer service is a hit or miss. I wish the bowl of lentil soup was bigger.

I would understand that if it they were busy, but the dining area was quite open so I'm not sure why it was taking extra time. Especially when my order was just for me. Staff was...not really around. I waited a bit to say I was here to pick up and no one even seemed to notice I was there until my meal finally came out & was wrapped up to go. With that said, food came out tasting fresh and the portions were fantastic for the price. I was able to eat all I wanted and still have leftovers. I won't say I won't come back here, but next time I will definitely dine in. Hopefully I'll get quicker better service when seated at a table.

We were attending an event at the bookstore next store so it was a no-brainer to give Pi on Sunset…read morea try. Mediterranean food is pretty consistent (ie the same) for my tastes wherever I get it so I was pleasantly surprised by a few elements of Pi. The pies, for example...I tried the Zaatar pie...honestly it was not much more then a thick, airy, freshly made pita with Zataar and olive oil on it...but it's sometimes the simplest things which delight. The Zaatar pie delighted. I tried the Lebanese red wine (I mean, when in a Lebanese restaurant, why not?) And it stood up to any red I'd had anywhere else. The Tabouleh (one of my Mediterranean standards) was fresh made, filling, and a nice companion to the heavier Zaatar pie. It was awfully nice, and unexpected, to get complimentary baklava at the end of the meal...2 generous sized pieces which were pretty indulgent and eliminated the need to get (and pay for) dessert there or anywhere else. Service was lovely...the manager or owner took care of us and made us feel he was truly grateful that we were there. It's also a hookah spot...so if you're not into that vibe or smoke of any kind, (I'm not really) you'll definitely smell that anywhere you are in the restaurant, even if you're not seated next to those using hookahs. If you've got a hankering for Mediterranean...especially a place that has some unique things not at other Mediterranean spots, definitely give Pi on Sunset a shot.

Unfortunately, it was a complete letdown. The sandwich was extremely unappetizing. The bread was soggy and falling apart, and the filling looked and tasted like it had been sitting out way too long. It didn't feel fresh at all, and several of us couldn't even finish it. The fries were even worse, they tasted stale, like they were at least a day or two old, and had that chewy, reheated texture instead of being crispy. Definitely not something anyone would want to eat.

Did not know what to expect because it's located in a building that only has a kitchen facility. I walked in, went to the kitchen door and was greeted by Fred. sweet, caring man that just wants to make delicious food served with a wonderful smile. Since my son was coming over, I ordered two koobedieh combos (beef and chicken ) and a falafel plate. OMG, so good, so much flavor and huge portions. The rice is perfectly seasoned and fluffy, the skewers were juicy and tasty. The falafel, the best I've ever had! So yelp community, I would be so grateful if you support this small family run business. You will not be disappointed. They also cater, score!!

This spot is takeout only, hidden in what basically feels like a restaurant warehouse, and as you walk down to pick up your food you genuinely start wondering, "Where the hell am I?" Then the aroma hits and suddenly you're floating like a cartoon character following the smell trail. I got the beef koobideh and WOW! Perfectly seasoned, insanely flavorful, fluffy rice, and the shirazi salad absolutely slapped. All this for $15 in 2026 when gas is $6.30. And the service? So kind. The person I called taking my order was sweet, everyone at pickup was welcoming, and I swear someone's grandma was in the kitchen because the food tasted like a warm hug. I don't usually write reviews unless the food is genuinely special, and I definitely don't gatekeep good food. So if you're craving Persian food, place the order now.

So I ordered 3 Gyro meals. Lamb, chicken, and beef with the combo meal fries and drink. For the 3 sandwiches with each of them having a side of small fries and small drink I paid $71.29 for the entire order which is crazy in itself but the real crime was the food here, I am surprised how this place is been running business this whole time. First thing you do when you sit in a car? Take a few bites of the fries, and let me tell you that shit got stuck in my throat from how dry and nasty it was absolutely no SALT on any of the sandwiches and or fries... We all know salt makes everything more delicious and we had none of it. Me and 2 of my guests all had complaints on how unsalted and bland the food was. Also with a gyro usually you need a garlic sauce aka white sauce for my New Yorkers, they tried to charge me $5.90 for a SMALL plastic side of garlic sauce for my $20 sandwich. Save your money head over to Pita Pocket or any other gyro spots cuz this ain't it. It's really not hard to get a gyro down. Trader Joes also has a box of gyro meat you can buy make at home and I did once and it was WAYYYY better then this place lol. This place gets 0 stars for charging customers $20+ for a freaking combo meal that doesn't even include a garlic sauce.

Easy parking out front…read more Lots of seating inside but it's a very casual vibe, more of a pick up and go place than dine in. I was a little icked out by the number of flies inside, I didn't see any by the food thankfully but there were between 10-20 flying around by the menus. I went with a falafel bowl. You choose a base, I got half lettuce and half rice. I chose falafel as my protein, you get 3 balls. And you get two sides and a sauce. I got mushrooms and roasted eggplant and hummus as my sauce. The falafel wasn't bad actually, they weren't dry which is so common with falafel. They're pretty large too which is nice. The rest of the meal was sort of ehh, plain iceberg lettuce, plain rice. The mushrooms were cold, I wish they served them hot and found that surprising. And the eggplant was ok. The portion was filling and it was an ok meal overall.
