Fried Green Tomatoes and Cheese sticks
    Troy P.

Great food, service and atmosphere. If you are a Texas Tech alum you'll love cheese sticks and the fried Oreos for dessert take you to the State Fair without all the walking. Great fried green tomatoes! Meatloaf is delicious as well as the Chicken Fried Steak. Definitely a special place online McKinney.

Enjoying seating in Patio with the warm winter eve

Begin my review with a huge shoutout to Cade! Not only did he put us at ease as this was our first visit here but when we mixed up on our order he so sweetly corrected it and got us exactly what we had wanted and ordered in the first place! Just to be clear I am looking forward to coming back just for the human interaction with Cabe and other staff as they were all so courteous and friendly! Next about the ambience : it was unusually warm for a winter eve, so we decided to sit out in the patio and boy did we thoroughly enjoy watching the sunsets over the horizon - some deep pink colors amongst others! Finally about the food- we were blown away by the quality AND quantity of food in each dish we ordered. We started off with some chilled beers and half order of Fried Green Tomatoes which were made so well! Next we ordered the Sweet n Heat burger which we got split in half to share. The burger was perfectly medium rare and a huge portion with some real crispy fries. We were full by the time we finished our portions But We had also ordered the Pot Roast with Asparagus and Mashed Potatoes n Gravy, again split to share! Delectable as it was, we were overstuffed by then, so we decided to take most of it as to go to relish the next day. Do note - all the splits were free and provided with a smile ! We are definitely coming back as we heard they make a wonderful Blackened Chicken Alfredo with pasta but only served as a special on some weekends! Anyway all their dishes are fresh, tasty and in huge portions and priced very correctly so hardly a reason not to return!

    Amazing sunset views

We wanted to try burger so thought of trying this place out ... we chose to sit outside as it was little warm in the evening glad we chose outside had amazing sunset views.. Cabe was our server he went through their specials we decided to go for some beers Dallas Blonde & Voodoo Ranger IPA along with Fried Green Tomatoes as an appetizer since we are in Texas & wanted to try it for quite some time... it was crunchy, delicious went very well with their ranch sauce. For our main course we chose- The Sweet and Heat Burger - 7 oz. hamburger with mayo, American cheese, lettuce, tomato, sautéed jalapeño, and onion on a jalapeño sourdough bun with fries. Slow Cooked Pot Roast - Slow-cooked for hours, hand-shredded, and topped with brown gravy. Along with 2 sides Asparagus & mashed potatoes with gravy. We loved the burger it was juicy, flavorful & nice portions & the fries were very crunchy. It's been a while since we had a good burger so we really enjoyed it... I must say it really had a nice spicy kick to it... never had jalapeno sourdough bun it brought out all the various flavors & this was perfect !!! Both the dishes were delicious. Since we were full by that time we chose to pack Pot roast to have it for later... Since we were sharing so we asked both the orders to be split which they did very graciously. Enjoyed our dinner with nice service & amazing sunset.

    Chicken Fried Steak, Chicken Parmesan

We stumbled upon this restaurant, looking for dinner on a Friday night. We got there around 8:30 PM and there was a little to no wait! The server got us seated immediately and service was quick and efficient! I had the chicken parm with the side of parmesan truffle fries! My meal was absolutely delicious with generous portions! I ended up taking half of the chicken parm and fries home! The chicken parm was breaded wonderfully and maintained it crisp even with the marinara sauce pour on top. The truffle fries in my opinion are also a must! The flavors were great, and the fries are delicious! My husband had the chicken fried steak with a side of mashed potatoes and tater tots. The breading on the chicken fried steak was good, but the steak itself seemed overcooked. The gravy and the potatoes are delicious, and tater tots were crispy. He also got an old-fashioned bar and was raving about how good it was! I opted to get a soda, but unfortunately, it seemed a little flat! Overall we will definitely be back to this spot to explore the rest of the menu!

Met at the doors and then seated. Our waitress Crystal from Guatemala was very attentive and made sure we didn't run out of anything. Very friendly and cozy atmosphere. I had the pot roast which was absolutely delicious, sweet potato fries, and a house salad. The only thing I would say is the banana pudding needed more bananas.

    The Fried Chicken Sandwich

Such a chill vibe and the service was super fast! Bonus points for the owners being Texas tech alums. I got the chicken sandwich and the chicken was juicy, the buns were soft and toasted, and the pickles gave it a nice bite. The sweet potato fries were also great!

I ordered take out for lunch, I got fried green tomatoes, pimento cheeseburger, & fries! Wow, the burger was hugee & delicious! The host was wonderful, extremely friendly, the restaurant seemed really cute & chill! 10/10 recommend trying their burgers!!

Garlic Parmesan fries very good 10/10
    LaTasha L.

The restaurant had very good vibes. We were there when they opened for the day. The service was great Allen our server was extremely attentive. The food was good, lemon pepper wings could have used some lemon pepper they were just fried unseasoned wings . I'm not a fan of fish nuggets , but the taste made up for what was lacking. The onion rings and the Garlic Parmesan fires were a 10/10!!! Not pictured were the fried Oreos - they were just ok I think they were fried too long- to dark almost burned. Give it a try!!

Large, partially covered patio. Fun ambience, not necessarily like a bar, a bit more upscale--amazing food! We came for lunch on a Saturday and had great food and service. We tried the fried cheese and chips and salsa and queso. The apps were amazing! I'd love to try out their onion rings and fried green tomatoes next time as those looked great too. For food we had two kids meals, the steak fingers were breaded perfectly and everything a steak finger should be! We had the southwest salad with house made chipotle ranch---the portion size was hefty and the seasoning and flavor was great. We also had a club sandwich with sweet potato fries. I love the the cut of the turkey and ham in the sandwich is thick. Fries were also perfectly seasoned. We tried two desserts--banana pudding and brownie a la mode. Both were really good, but the banana pudding was next level. Overall, this was a great experience. Nothing we had was mid or meh---This is a place we will return to and bring our friends and out of town guests. For any fellow Red Raiders trying this place out,, make sure you try that fried cheese. Iykyk.

While waiting for our table we wondered up to the 3rd floor. They had live music. The place was jumping up there. We are going to have to look up who is going to be playing and have another married date night. The only downside to the evening was unfortunately the host at the front door. He was rude and severely lacking in communication skills. If anything else had me "meh" I would have taken stars away but everything else made up for his shortcomings.

Once seated we waited nearly an hour for the food, and it arrived with one good plate, and a $55 "Wagyu" which was a small, twisted piece of sinewed, chewy meat with cold, soggy veggies and mash. Sent it back, and my wife was finished by the time the replacement came - which again, was about as 'Wag'yu as a pup's tail. They kindly removed cost of my meal, and we got anniversary desert. Nice building and staff working hard - just set your expectations accordingly.

Pretty spacious place that offers a wide range of food and drink options. Everything we ordered tasted great, came out in a timely manner, and everyone devoured what they had. Since we came in the middle of the week on a late afternoon we pretty much had the place to ourselves. Our waitress came over who was really sweet and had that southern Texas charm. I ordered the elote with homemade tortilla chips, gluten free Mac n cheese and my mom got a flatbread. Hands down that mac n cheese was the best I ever had, it was so creamy but not over powering with that bold cheese flavor and it was made with gf penne pasta (I know a little weird.. but it was the only gf noodle choice I had). If you don't have an allergy I'm sure the regular noodles are just as good! So if you want that comfort food that Texas is known for, this is the place to check out if you're in Celina.
