I came here at 11:00 am to get a smog check. I was told they were swamped, and it would be two hours before they could get to it. He told me to run some errands, and they'd take care of it when I came back. I came back in two hours. When I walked in he said, "I know! You were here earlier, but he's at lunch now." I guess it takes two guys to sit in the office watching television while there's one guy who actually does all of the work. I've seen smog checks done and know it's easy to do and only takes a few minutes. It's more than a little bit ridiculous that the service wasn't performed. Took my 2009 Lexus LS460 in January 13, 2022. This is my first time there. Spoke to Hutch who is the owner of the shop. He's straight forward and honest about the work they perform and the services they provide. My check engine light, VSC & ABS lights were on, which is never good. My car needed to have the fuel pump seals replaced along with the valve cover gaskets. Oil had leaked onto the engine causing the valve cover gaskets to leak oil. Hutch worked out a reasonable price for the repairs and explained what they need to do, and how long it will take. I was in at 912am and out by 230pm. They offered me a ride back home and will pick me up when it's done. (Only if they have the availability of extra staff to do this.) They also have a credit/loan plan that really helped me with the cost, since I couldn't afford $1,100.00 out of pocket! That was a life saver. I took the car and noticed the next morning there was a puddle of oil under the car. I immediately called and spoke to Emilio, explained what happened; he said to bring it in and they'll look at it. I brought it in at 1115am, they found out it was leaking from the filter cap, and not the replaced gaskets. My only cost was to pay for the filter cap, about $100.00. They had me out by 420pm. It may seem like a long wait, but it was a special order so we had to wait for the part to be delivered. My over all experience was good! It's getting harder to find a good auto shops with reasonable labor cost, experienced mechanics and knowledgeable managers/owners with friendly customer service. I will be bringing my vehicle back to them again, because I know my car will be taken care of. I am new to town with a very low mileage 2000 Toyota Camry. I went to AA to make a (appointment) for smog tires and general service. The sales guy must not of believed I wouldn't come back. He actually made me pay for all the work upfront, to make sure I would return which is not really ethical and good business practice. I did pay and had the work done, which was fine. They did Charge me for a cabin filter for my car which did not have one. He said he would give me a free oil change next time which he totally forgot about. Now I went in there to check on an oil leak and he acted like I didn't make an appointment which I did, he blamed it on (Joe) and looked at me like I had no business being there. he told me to come back some other time?! I'm retired and owned my own auto repair business for 30 years. He did not treat me like a customer. He treated me cold like he didn't want me there. I'm never going back. read more

I just wanted to take a little time out of my very busy schedule to let the world know how excited I am that I have finally found an auto repair shop out here in Las Vegas that goes out of their way to take care of their customers. The one that I'm referring to is the AA Auto Care on Ann Rd & Decatur in North Las Vegas. There are many repair shops that do good work but it's hard to find one where it's obvious that they care more about their customers than taking their money. Usually, when a female like myself drives to an auto repair shop, we are taken advantage of. They are always trying to sell us on work that our car doesn't need. I came to this AA Auto Care on Decatur & Ann Road because my breaks were squeaking. Instead of selling me on a break job plus new rotors and a bunch of other stuff that I didn't need, this shop told me that my breaks were fine and that it was just an accumulation of break dust. They got rid of the break dust and sent me on my way, free of charge. Every time I try another place that's closer to my house, they try to rip me off. So even though I have to drive a couple of extra miles, I will only use this company on Ann & Decatur to take care of my auto repair needs. I trust them, they do good work, and they have a driver who will take me home and bring me back if needed. Also, if the job happens to be a big one that I cannot afford, they have a funding source available. It is so hard to find good customer service these days. But Rolando, the manager at this particular AA Auto Care location, treats me like family. They do excellent work at fair prices and have the best customer service that I've experienced in years. BUYER BEWARE !!!! If I could give this place zero stars I would. Not only did they not fix the car, they made my fiancé pay for a part she didn't even get. One manager told us we could have a refund on the part that WE HAVE NEVER EVEN SEEN right so I'm like fine this shitty place will never get another dime from me but atleast they're giving me something back. WRONG! When we get there a different manager tells us he's not giving us anything back. I asked the owner if there were any promotions which he then told me there was a coupon for 3999 for synthetic oil change which my car need it. I then opened up the website showed a coupon to the manager who recommended me the coupon and he did not want to honor the discount because I did not have a printed in paper, I then politely asked if I can email it to him to print it out and his establishment which he did have a printer and the computer but he said no. Cause I had to go to five different places to get that printed out in order for him to be able to validate the coupon what kind of customer service is that? Long story short as possible I had parts to provide for my vehicle & asked manager Georgie if she could do the work assuming complete the job. I pay over 2k to her establishment to be told I need to take it to Land Rover & have it calibrated as she could no longer assist. I then take me vehicle to a private shop in town. They gave me a fair price to clean up her work and informed me there were two minor leaks they found in the work. This establishment actually had the computer my vehicle needed in the 1st place to complete the calibration and was actually honest. Good news is the Range is back on the road after the poor initial diagnostic form this location AA Auto. To be fair other locations from this chain has actually kept there word with me in north town. Not to mention Ms. Georgie still hasn't provided me the proper receipts of her work she performed as she reminds me they have a new computer system. I live 40 min from this place but took it there initially b/c when I 1st called Georgie conveniently informed me they had no wait. IF I could give this place less that 1 star I would. They are the rudest and biggest liars I have experienced in the car business! I started going to this place since I live nearby and have taken both cars in for the standard oil changes & smog checks. I needed a car smogged & stopped by yesterday afternoon. They were backed up & there would be over an hour wait. I asked if I could set up an appt. for today & he said bring it in between 9-10 am & did not take my name. I was there at exactly 9:30 and told him I was back. He (same guy) said he had zero idea who I was and I reminded him of out exact conversation..still blank...I also asked if I could get my oil changed as well since I had a FREE one coming! I was in last September & they had a promotion "next oil change free if we wrote a review" which I did at the time. I even have the card from the employee, Rene, who approved & signed it at the time. Big surprise, she no longer is there and he flatly refused to honor their commitment and was the rudest jerk I've ever experienced & that's saying a lot for a car repair shop! I asked if he was the owner & he told me he is the Mgr., but refused to give me his name.. I walked out after telling him that they'd receive another review and a horrible one at best! Very disappointed with AA Auto Care in Ann Road. I brought my car to AA Auto Care for a routine change oil and tire rotation (ended up changing all 4 tires as per their recommendation). Everything was working fine in my car before I took it there but when I got it back, I just drove it home and next morning the check engine was ON, and the cruise control was not working either. I was there Saturday, so I must wait until Monday to take it back. They check it, did some diagnostic thing, spent maybe 30 minutes and said that they need more time to check what was wrong with it because I came in an hour before closing time and ask to bring it earlier another day. In short, they were not able to fix it when they were the last one to touch my car. So, I went to Auto Lab which my friend recommended, and they fixed it in 10 minutes at no charge. read more

First, while diagnosing my car, the mechanic does something that breaks apart on my car which was perfectly fine before I brought it in and then they tried charging me for it along with the diagnostic fee. Second, they told me I needed almost $5000 worth of work but when I got a second opinion I was told I only needed about $300 worth of work and my car is running perfectly now. I would NEVER in my life recommend this auto shop. They commit highway robbery and try getting away with everything under the sun and charging for it because they think people are stupid and they think they can get away with it. I've taken my car to multiple places for multiple issues. At the end of the day, nothing gets done or fixed until I've taken it here. I've put way too much money into this junker of mine, but I can't afford a better car yet. In the meantime, George and Joe have kept my car reliably on the road. They have both taken the extra time to educate me on the things I didn't understand. When something has been off with a repair, they get me right in to fix the issue- ie when the brand new water pump was defective (out of their control). It's really the only shop that I feel has a genuine concern for me and my family's ability to get where we need to go safely. read more

I have spent thousands of dollars at this place. I took my vehicle there in August. $1600 and water was leaking from the bottom of my car. I was supposed to take the car to California but when I got on the freeway I had to turn around and take my sons car. Took it back for them to fix that issue and they said it was something wrong with the cars computer. Car sat up there for 6 months. Got the car back and the hose is still not fixed. Water leaking and running hot. Now I have to take it elsewhere to get fixed. Just to let y'all know everything up there is going to start off at $1600. All that and can't drive my car. read more
