The breadsticks are just dough with cheese on them, tasteless. The sauce is just tomato paste... no flavor. I asked the bartender how long till the food is ready. She said 3 minutes... it's now been 15 and I'm still waiting. I got the pesto flatbread. It was ok. I've had plenty of flat breads and pizzas. This really didn't blow my mind but it was fair. I love the buffalo chips (get hot because they are barely hot). However, I have to give them only one star because while they offer a gluten free crust, their cheese is not gluten free. ‍ I feel like it's shady. Love the pizza. The Veggie Lover is their best, by far the best veggie pizza we've had. I think it's the artichoke hearts and pepperoncini peppers that give it the unique taste and set it apart. I was staying at the Hilton Gardens next door and decided to give the place a try. I read the reviews and was a bit worried. The place was busy for a Wednesday night but they sat me in the bar area right away. I ordered a small mushroom, sausage, pepperoni pizza. They also had a very good selection of beers on tap. I had a very good brown ale. The pizza was great but the tomato sauce was a bit sweet and there was a lot of it, I liked it. The service was great and the pizza arrived sooner than expected. So we stopped at a new-to-us pizza place in Chesterton (AJ's Pizza) for dinner tonight. I must say they had some of the most interesting pizza on the menu. Some I have never seen before. Since I am a real sucker for Reuben sandwiches I had to get the Reuben pizza. Delicious but it is only a short-time special. We also tried the Italian Beef pizza which didn't work as well. If you're out near Chesterton give them a try. The noise level was quite loud with the restaurant only half-full. I am sure it gets rowdy over the weekend nights. We got the cheese garlic bread as an appetizer and they were nice enough to offer free pizza sauce or garlic butter to dip it in . The cheese pizza was tasty. I like the sauce even though it's a little on the sweet side. One complaint I do have is that the tables are small and we had to get rid of things in order for the pizza to fit on our table. This place has so much more potential. We've been frequent customers (1-2 visits per month for the past year or two). In our experience, take out takes forever. If they say 30 minutes you better wait 50 and then leave the house. Pizza is average for a pizza place but not a lot of specialty options. Sandwiches are way under par and often consist of a protein smothered in cheese and sauce without vegetables (very plain for the cost unless you pay extra and request vegetables to be added). We want to like this place but have given it so many chances only to get mediocre food each time. read more

I was in town visiting family Saturday and stopped in for lunch. The pizza was really good and the new restaurant is beautiful.

We haven't eaten here since they moved from their original spot. My wife called for carry out and the boy that answered was not helpful at all. He was rude with her and insulted her for not knowing the menu exactly even after she explained that we did not eat here in a while. Then she asked for a large pizza. What we got was a medium. The toppings on the pizza did not stay together on the pizza. It literally fell apart in our hands. We are NOT happy and WILL not go back there. read more
