My favorite coffee in the world -- the New Orleans is to die for. The baked goods (especially the almond croissant) are delicious. Kind service & great coffee.

Searched for coffee shop while in the area and am so happy we tried it. There is valet in the small shopping center if you don't want to struggle with finding parking. Tends to be busy but there is plenty of dining space inside. Staff are very welcoming and helpful. We tried the Iced Tiramisu Latte, Iced Creme Brulee Latte, Iced Latte, The coffee was soo good, we ended up going back to get another for the drive home. Bacon and Egg Croissant, and the Focaccia Prosciutto Cloud. The bread was very light and flaky and absolutely delicious.

Drinks: - Matcha einspanner has a good balance of sweet and earthy flavors - Tiramisu latte is alright, too sweet Parking: - If you come before lunchtime, you can park in the lot for free! - If you come after/during lunchtime, good luck finding street parking or you can pay valet Seating: - Plenty of seating all throughout the store - Many outlets! Of all the alchemist locations, this one is superior because of the abundance of parking and seating

one my best friends was visiting LA and she decided on this place for brunch, I had actually never heard of it so I said let's go!! firstly, parking is terrible but that's normal for k town. we had already parked in a residential area and walked 10 minutes to get here lol. but the inside of the place was surprisingly spacious! I didn't think it would have a lot of tables and chairs but it does, as well as a restroom in the back. lots of stuff to choose from on the menu, but we just got food, I got the Focaccia Prosciutto Cloud and she got the Avocado Croast. both were super delicious we were so happy!! but I really loved the toppings on my focaccia one. only thing is it took a long time for my order to come out. I would come back here to try more food as well as their drinks!!

We got our usual order -- New Orleans Cold Brew with oat milk. We're regulars, and about half the time we ask for no ice since we moved a bit farther away and don't want it getting watered down on the way home. With the milk substitute and a $2 tip, it came out to about $22 for two drinks. I understand that no ice can mean a slightly smaller amount, but this time it felt like way less than expected... kind of a "wait, what?" moment ‍

Loved this location because it had lots of seating options inside. They even had some vegan pastries which is always a bonus for me. Unfortunately I did feel the avocado toast was a little too salty but I enjoyed my latte and vegan chocolate chip cookie. Staff was friendly from what I can recall so no notables issues there. I'd definitely go again some time. Great place to go settle in and do some work for a couple of hours.

I LOVE The Alchemist Coffee project. It has such calming and welcoming vibes. They have a lovely display of pastries that are beautifully presented, and the menu is set up so you can read it as you wait to order. The team here is wonderful; they always welcome you with a smile. Most of their signature drinks are iced, but they do offer a Spanish latte with a lovely taste of cinnamon. It's on the sweeter side, so you can ask them to adjust the sweetness if you prefer. I really appreciate the tables, lighting, and music, which make it a perfect spot if you decide to stay and work. Parking can be challenging, but there is valet and plenty of street parking available. I hope you enjoy your visit there!

Cute coffee spot inside busy little Ktown plaza. I went on a Tuesday around noon and a lot of people there hanging out with computers so there weren't too many spots left to sit. The staff was great and super friendly and I had the lavender matcha latte which was delicious. If I come back I'll def try and review the food bc a lot of it sounded tasty.

House coffee + latte + blueberry muffin. Finally made it out here!

Best pastry & large variety!! From bagels, to scones, to specialty cakes! Best coffee! From drip, to pour over, to iced or hot lattes! Wonderful ambiance and plentiful seating. Parking is good before the evening when the neighboring restaurants open up. Service is excellent! Love this place and it's my favorite in the Southland of Cali :)) Come here and definitely try the house made basque cheesecake. A MUST and unforgettable treat.

My main irk with this place is that you're paying $6-7+ for a small drink...whether or not you get coffee or matcha, they taste great. Just remember the portion not being like this. If you come here to study/work, it may be worth it for the ambiance, but to me it felt more of a grab and go spot. Parking is street parking if you are lucky and if not then valet parking. Friendly service.

Was staying in the area for a couple of days and we were able to walk to this cute little shop. Fun decorations inside very like steampunk in a way but for coffee. Service was goods My friends enjoy their coffees, so I'm not sure what they were drinking, I think they got the same the next day . The first day I had the tiramisu drink, and it was quite delightful, more dessert than it was coffee, but it was still very good . The second day I had a brown sugar latte, and it was good . The ham and cheese croissant was so incredibly flaky. I got a second day in a row. . We tried the honey cake and it's very nostalgic and reminds me of a moon pie, and I can't stop thinking about it. I would love to know where they get their pastries from. . Definitely skip the chain coffee shops, and come here!

Do they have bottomless coffee or tea? Is this a place you can sit and study or do work?

You can definitely sit and study here, but as far as I know they don't offer bottomless anything.

    Is there outdoor dining?

No, I believe last time I went there was no seats outside

    Is there parking?

I believe at this location, there should be as it is part of a small plaza but might be full or crowded

How's their coffee? Basic? Unique? Flavorful?

Flavorful!!! Enjoy and be safe always!

Do they still open open mics on Wednesday's?

Hi, Alchemist never did open mics.

Are there many outlets and tables to work at?

They do have a fair amount of outlets. But depends at what time you go because there are various people at many times also using them. Especially during the evening time

    Hi, is there WiFi? Thanks!

    yes!

    Is this a pet-friendly cafe?

    unfortunately not 😿🐶

    Is there air conditioning?

Yes but it's not blasting just regular strength

We have gone a few times over the course of 3 weeks. At first we thought Stagger was having an off day with their matcha. The taste wasn't as strong and the double matcha isn't as creamy anymore. We've gone several times since then. The flavor has been off and it has disappointed us every time. I'm not too sure if the recipe changed, that's just what my partner and I have been noticing.

I've been coming to Stagger for years, and they've stayed remarkably consistent…read more - Their double matcha is what they're known for; it comes in a smaller cup than any of their other drinks, but what it lacks in size, it makes up for in strength. The matcha quality is great; it holds its own in matcha lattes and einspanners, and has a robust earthiness without being astringently grassy. They clearly use a lot of matcha in this drink, and even though it's batch-made, they go through it so quickly that it might as well be hand-whisked. I prefer to get it with light sweetness, but even the full sweet version is delicious and not overpoweringly sweet. - Their hojicha is just as competitive as their matcha; it has a misugaru nuttiness that I am obsessed with, and their latte has a creaminess that seems impossible to achieve without cream or whole milk. In terms of ambiance, it can get quite loud, but it's a popular spot. There's a lot of indoor and outdoor seating, plenty of room to stand around and wait for your drink, bathrooms, and free iced water. Staff is friendly and knowledgeable, and the line moves quite fast. The only thing that leaves much to be desired is the parking situation; the lot is tiny and impossible to park in anyway, but in the afternoon and evening is valet only. That's not really Stagger's fault, and I think walking a couple blocks is worth it for this Ktown matcha staple.
