Quite disappointing and the lack of power points doesn't make it any better. I got here at rush hour and ordered myself the house coffee which is 2.33 with tax. There are a range of food options from salads, sandwiches, egg and sausage muffins, drinks, etc. Food for everyone and hence out of the minimal three cafes in this part of the airport, it is doing really well catering to everyone's needs. Very salty, the pesto was a little bit acidic, there was one mini slice of tomato and the crumbled feta was almost non existent. Any sandwich outside of this place would have been a better option. I'll first start off by saying that SFO has a pathetic selection of food joints to choose from. Even the international terminal. I thought the great food reputation that the city of SF has would be reflected in the main airport - but I was wrong. Amoura Cafe is a decent place, RELATIVELY SPEAKING, to grab something healthy before a flight. I was very unimpressed with the lady who served me, though. I asked if my veggie sandwich could be heated up. She rudely said the most she could do was heat the bread up...ok, fine, good enough. I got my sandwich, and surprise surprise, the bread was cold and soggy. The filling were good, though, and the spread on the bread was tasty - it had a Mediterranean flair to it that is characteristic of the Cafe. My hot chocolate also had an unusually good spiciness to it. Those things slightly made up for my soggy bread. Don't know if I'll go for another soggy sandwich here again, though. Amoura Café is a little deli at the SFO International Gates (G Side) which is very busy deli.. They make great handmade sandwiches, any thing from roast beef, turkey, ham, salami, hot sandwiches as well as vegetarian sandwiches. They also have hot entrees as well. Amoura also serves up hot breakfast items as well. The price is typical with airport food which means expensive, but this place is probably the best deal around for airport grub. read more

I asked for a toasted bagel with tomato and cheddar lightly buttered, what I got was them telling me they could not spread butter, (had to give me an ice cold and nearly frozen packet) then they served NY toasted bagel with the slice of tomato and cheddar wrapped individually on the side. WTF?? The quality and taste of all ingredients were sub standard (awful bagel - even by low airport standards) I also enjoyed how they serve scalding hot coffee on one side of the store and the heat sleeves are on the opposite end. To be fair the rest of the food at SFO is no better, and in most cases far worse. I guess the point here is these guys gave a glimmer of hope, but in the end it was the usual airport garbage. Ps. I was delighted to find Amoura Cafe in the International Terminal at SFO. Grabbed a salad (Chinese Chicken), yogurt and latte. The salad was very fresh, dressing had a kick to it, and felt like I was eating healthy. Nice cashier staff too. Worth a visit while waiting for your plane. read more

Just had the chicken shawarma. The seasonings were missing. This was nearly a boiled chicken wrap with Tahini sauce. In comparison to the other SFO restaurants, it's the same. By this I mean, the business name and type of restaurant is only for marketing. This place is bomb!! Idk what other people are complaining about. I am at this airport all the time and have tried a multitude of other eateries. If you want your money's worth, Amoura is def the way to go!! The staff was very friendly. The meat is seasoned well and cooked tender. My favorites are the fallafel wrap and the kofta platter. Everything I've tried has been fresh and tasty. You get a very nice amount of good for the price! Very happy to see these guys at SFO and hope they stay for a long time! Keep it up! read more

Nice place at terminal 3 SFO, I got the kofta kabob plate- came with rice, salad, hummus and pita bread. The salad was excellent. Everything was satisfying except for the pita which was a little dry. i was very happy to find amoura cafe after a flight back into sfo intl. i'm not a fan of heavy foods or overpriced foods, and i just wanted a healthy snack before taking off again. amoura had a good selection of fresh sandwiches, salads, and other mediterranean foods at a fair (for an airport) price. also, i accidentally left my wallet there and they were great enough to keep it locked up for me until i could pick it up. really nice and honest staff and they saved me from replacing lost wallet things which is always a big hassle. thank you people at amoura! read more
