Great food, loved the banh khot and the fresh rolls. We also got charbroiled pork and five spice chicken which was very flavourful and tender. There was a slight musty smell in the air when we entered but we acclimatized to it pretty quick.

Came to the Richmond district for some Viet eats and ended up at A Chi where we got the bun bo hue and shrimp banh khot to share. The banh khot were super thick and very savory. I really liked them here. The bun bo hue was good, but I've had better, and nothing beats homemade. Next time I want to try the nem nuong summer rolls.

My fave neighborhood Vietnamese restaurant! The servers are always so welcoming and friendly. Everything is delicious, but my go-to is the Bun Bo Hue with flat noodles and a cà phê sữa đá with extra condensed milk!

Had lunch with my mom today, we both ordered the No. 1 combo beef noodle soup. This place is big and roomy, and the staff are very friendly. The soup was okay overall, but the portion was a bit small. I ordered a large and still didn't feel full... lol.

Came here on a rainy day for early dinner. Service was okay as we had to ask for water. Instead of bean sprouts, they had shredded green and red cabbage. I didn't mind it because I like cabbage. Bun Bo Hue had a nice mild spice to the broth. The noodles were the thick circular rice noodles. The temperature of the broth came out hot which is always nice. Bun Rieu - the crab paste was small broken pieces compared to other places that have it in more of a meatball shape. The broth had a subtle tomato flavor to it

A no frills, Vietnamese restaurant located in the Richmond and a great spot for when you're craving pho. I came by during a weekday dinner, and service from beginning to end was simple and quick. I ordered a pho tai and if I remember correctly, that day they were having a deal to upgrade to a large for the same size as a medium. Thus, I ordered the large and the portion was very generous. Very warm and rich pho broth, delicious! Pricing is fair and very easy to just drop in, have a warm bowl of pho, and you're on your way from there. Worth a visit if you're around the area.

Quality/Quantity - What?!?! Where is my review? Or did I frequent this place during my pre-Yelp life...? Anyways, glad I/we are back again. Today we got the following, 2 of the 3 weekly specials: #14D Fresh Spring Roll with Crispy Fish - So fresh and huge portions. We were only able to finish 3 of the 4 halves. Well I forced myself to finish my share, as I know it will not taste as good the next day. Used fish sauce as my sauce, but you can create your own sauce from the table condiments, see picture. #9 Grilled Chicken with Egg Noodle Soup - Again, generous portions. The "boss" suggested we share this, but my guest is NOT good at sharing, lol. #26 Garlic Noodles with BBQ Chicken - My dish and as usual, a home run. No surprises, generous portions. I literally think we took half our meal home. No room for dessert, see my picture of the "FBI." Atmosphere - Decent size location. Clean restrooms. Metered street parking, but due to the endless construction, we had to park 2 blocks away. Good exercise for my guest, lol. Open 6 days a week from 11am to 8pm. Service - The "boss" and the lady both did a good job. Kept our piping hot teas full. Very patient with us, as they knew we were light and slow eaters. Gave good recommendations. Never felt rushed. Price - $47 + tip. I feel reasonably priced, especially for us as it would be two meals, lol. Owner Comment - Congrats on your success since 2019. We do not come here often enough. I need to change that, lol.

I ordered take out from them for the first time today and everything was excellent. The food was packed meticulously and all the ingredients were fresh. The meat quality is good and the soup tastes really clean. Will be coming back!

OMG this is probably one of the best vietnamese places I have been to in a while. As soon as you walk in you can smell the aroma of the broth and I immediately knew I was gonna like this place. I was debating between the pho and the banhmi and I ultimately decided on the banhmi and I was not disappointed. The tofu was fried but not too deep fried and it melted in my mouth as soon as I took a bite. It was definitely worth every penny and it was pretty cheap as well. The star of the show!! THE BBQ PORK SPRING ROLLS!! omg i loved the spring rolls so much! they are huge portions and you honestly get the best bang for your buck!! The service was quick also!

This is my go-to spot for Vietnamese food in Richmond district! The portions are large and there is a huge variety of dishes. Service is fast and friendly as well. I ordered the Banh Khot which was really flavorful and I was pleasantly surprised by a coconut flavor in the batter. However the banh khot was not as crispy as I had hoped. My vermicelli had tender pork and the portion was large with a lot of vegetables too so I definitely felt like I was getting my money's worth.

Attentive and kind wait staff. Food came out quickly, was delicious, and prices were extremely reasonable.

We decided to cross the park to try out An Chi for lunch. Parking was a few blocks away. The place was spacious with a few other patrons. We got there around 12:15 and sat down. Placed our order within 7 minutes and got our meal at 12:33! That's pretty quick! Food was good and fresh tasting. OUR PICKS ~ BUN CHA GIO GA NUONG ~ cold vermicelli noodle salad with grilled chicken. This was my order. Tasty chicken and fresh salad greens. 4/5 BUN BO HUE (L) ~ this was my BF's order. He said decent amount in the bowl and appreciated that pork blood wasn't included. But he's used to getting pork bones. He got sliced meat instead. It not as authentic as other restaurants. 3.5/5 I order cold vermicelli noodles a lot when I have Vietnamese food. I enjoyed this meal, but coming from Sunset district, it's pretty comparable. We could just walk down the block from where we stay and have something similar with the same price if not a dollar or so less. But if I was in the area, I'd come back to try other dishes. Just wanted to note that an hour after eating, I was VERY thirsty! I'm assuming there was MSG added to the marinated grilled chicken. So be prepared to drink lots of water after!

"IT'S QUE VIET!"…read more No Superman here, but let me be your hero for a second because I'm about to put you on to, hands down, **the best Vietnamese food I've ever had**. I actually discovered Que Viet through DoorDash and had everything delivered. I ordered the Deep-Fried Imperial Rolls (Cha Gio), Grilled Chicken & Chicken Imperial Roll Garlic Noodles (Mi Top Ga Nuong Cha Gio Ga), Grilled Pork Sausage Rolls (Nem Cuon), Vietnamese Shrimp Mini Crepes (Banh Xeo Tom), and the Grilled Pork Sausage & Sliced Pork Woven Vermicelli (Banh Hoi Nem & Thit Nuong). Yes... I spent almost **$100 for two people**. Looking back at the receipt, I had to ask myself, *"Is this place expensive, or am I just fat?"* Honestly... probably a little of both. Either way, it was one of the best $100 I've ever spent. If it's your first time ordering from Que Viet, do yourself a favor and get the **garlic noodles**. I know garlic noodles are everywhere these days, but these completely changed my expectations. They were perfectly cooked with an incredible bounce, packed with rich garlicky flavor, and the portion size was generous enough for leftovers (if you have the self-control). I also tried the **Banh Hoi Nem & Thit Nuong** for the first time, and it did not disappoint. One heads-up, though: it's generously topped with crushed peanuts. My friend has a peanut allergy, so thankfully we caught it before digging in. If you have any nut allergies, be sure to mention it when ordering. Every single dish arrived fresh, flavorful, and tasted like it had just come out of the kitchen despite being delivered. That's not something you can say about many places. If you ever find yourself in the city, you **need** to make a stop at Que Viet. This place has been living rent-free in my head ever since, and I already know I'll be back the next chance I get.

We tried the day's special stuffed wings--boneless wings stuffed with scallops, shrimp, and meat paste that were incredibly crisp, deeply savory, and served piping hot (be careful on that first bite!). The tuna tartare served on crunchy taro chips was wonderfully balanced--honestly, my only wish was for a few more chips because the flavor was so good. For mains, the tender beef cheek over celeriac mash with crispy enoki mushrooms and the rich Thịt Kho mushroom dish were both hits. Some dishes were better prepared than others, but overall, the food was solid across the board. If you enjoy making your own spring rolls, you'll love the grilled pork skewers. The pork is super tender and has such a incredible flavor profile of lemongrass, garlic, fish sauce, and more. Rolled up with the woven vermicelli noodles and fried wonton crisps in a rice paper, you get a wonderful combination of texture in a single bite. The other crowd favorite of the night was the bánh xèo -- the stuffed rice crepe. The bánh xèo here is by far the best one that I've ever had, even surpassing ones I had in Vietnam. The outside was insanely crispy and and was surprisingly not particularly oily, while the inside was loaded with fillings. Two other dishes that were well received by the group was the betel leaf wrapped grilled beef and the sugar cane shrimp. The beef had a very similar flavor profile as the pork, but the texture was a lot more lean. The shrimp had a bouncy, yet firm texture to it, and was very well-seasoned. My only qualm with the shrimp dish is that the sugarcane did not actually have any sweetness to it. There's fish sauce on the table along with a shrimp paste sauce, but to be honest, every dish we had was so flavorful on its own, the sauces aren't even needed. The only dish that we ordered that fell short was the grilled river shrimp. The presentation of the shrimp is impressive and very photogenic, but the flavor was lacking and the cook was inconsistent. Some people had shrimp that was undercooked -- borderline raw, and on the other end of the spectrum, others had shrimp that was so overcooked, that it was very difficult to remove the shrimp from the shell without completely tearing the meat. That said, everything else we ordered was well-prepared, and very tasty. Service was good throughout the meal, and I would definitely come back again for a meal with a large group. 4.5 experience rounding up to a 5.

Since finding it, my girlfriend and I have been here numerous times and it has been awesome every time. I've so far tried several noodle soup dishes (Pho, Bun Bo hue, peanut noodles soup, mi hoahn thahn) and everything has been great. Their appetizers and non soup based food are also excellent.
