This was one of the first places I went when I moved to the bay area many years ago and it brings back warm memories. It's casual dining at its best with delicious Cal-Mex food. They have vegan and vegetarian options as well and I have tried most of the things and can't pick a favorite. It really depends on how hungry you are. They also have a salsa bar and I have over indulged in some rather hot ones (the mango habanero ). It's perfect for big groups

I came here to try the swirls and they did not disappoint. Beware because they are quite strong and taste so good. You go up to the front to order and the food comes out pretty fast. It was crowded for a Friday night but it was the perfect start to our bar hop. The taquitos were crispy and I got a bunch of salsas to try with them. It was very filling and I would definitely come back again.

Aqui Campbell never disappoints. The staff is always friendly, the service is quick, and the food is consistently solid. If you're not sure what to order, I'd definitely recommend the West Coast Salmon. Overall, it's a relaxed spot with great food and a welcoming atmosphere.

I've always really enjoyed coming to Aqui after checking out their other locations in the South Bay. They have a pretty decent plant-based menu with items that can be made vegan, which gives someone like me a lot of choices to pick from. For lunch, I ordered their Cauliflower Bowl and subbed out the dairy for a mango dressing that was vegan. I also ordered a side of their black bean dip which was a standout at the other location. The staff were so friendly and took the time to look through their official allergen menu to make sure my meal was fully plant-based. The cauliflower dish was an excellent decision. Crispy veggies over a bed of cilantro rice with beans, pico, avocado, etc. made this a wonderful lunchtime meal. My black bean dip also proved to hold up and I enjoyed it with their tortilla chips. I also really appreciate how affordable pricing is here compared to the rest of the South Bay. My bowl was less than $15 and the side dip was $8, and with everything being sharable, I left like I had gotten a great deal. Venue wise, this shop is probably my favorite of the locations I've frequented. Lots of open seating, beautiful decor, and a clean restaurant make this a great spot to dine in or out.

The food has gone so far downhill. So sad as I've been going here since they opened. Was healthy and delicious. Super disappointing. Friends who live in the area have told me this, but I didn't believe it. Willow Glen and Campbell locations are bad. I unfortunately have to agree. If you're not gonna step up with the taste and quality of the food, shutter the doors people.

The food is great! Well made, good ingredients, tasty recipes. Incredible bar menu with equally delicious drinks. Service is spot on and attentive. However, during busy times with few seats service could do a more proactive job at pulling plates and encouraging turnover. It's a nice place but can get kinda loud. All in all a great experience!

We used to come to Aqui in Campbell all the time but after a probably 5+ year absence, I recently came back. It was as busy and fun as ever, and the food tasted as fresh and happiness-inducing as a crisp springtime morning. I had forgotten how much I like their menu, including and especially with all their veggie-forward options. No swirl for me - just good food. Will add Aqui back to the rotation.

Had been to farmers market on a Sunday. Decided to have lunch at familiar aqui. It never disappoints. Usually good Feels healthier with do many veggies if you order the right dishes. Got avacado roasted corn bowl which was pretty good with so many veggies. Also Thai peanut organic tofu was pretty good. Similar veggies. But this had mango grapes etc as well. Would recommend this place

Got the adobo chicken, specialty bowl and a couple swirl drinks which is a must! Bamboo straws, iykyk

Aqui Cal-Mex always delivers, but this visit really hit. I usually go straight for their burrito, but this time I switched it up and tried the Adobo chicken bowl and it was fire. Perfect balance of flavor, hearty without feeling heavy, and layered in a way that keeps every bite interesting. We also ordered two margaritas and they did not disappoint. Strong, smooth, and exactly what you want when you're settling in for a relaxed night out. The space itself is really well designed. The sectional bar layout gives it energy without feeling cramped, and there are plenty of little pockets and seating areas so you can choose your vibe, whether you want bar-top action or something more tucked away. Great flow, great food, great drinks.

We were in downtown Campbell and was looking around the area for a lunch spot that we could walk to. We decided to go with Aqui Cal-Mex, since they had an outdoor patio for our dog. There are a couple of registers at the front to order at and they'll give you a buzzer once you pay for the order. The self service sauce bar was nice, I got three sauces on the side to try. They have quite a large menu, I decided to go with the adobo chicken lime-avocado bowl. The bowl was decent, it was a good portion of food and everything tasted good. Overall, it was a decent spot for lunch. However, it's not a restaurant that I would go out of my way for. 3.5 stars.

Loveeee aqui's. They are great for a casual dinner or catch up with friends. The food is so tasty and well balanced with veggies. My go to is the crab cake enchiladas or the crab cake bowl (anything with the crab cake!). Of course you have to get a swirl too. They have 6 oz or 12 oz options. My favorite so far has been the coconut strawberry soju swirl. Service is fast and friendly. There is ample seating but they do get busy during the weekend for dinner.

Do they have Happy Hour? If so, what days and times?

Does the Campbell location have Happy Hour?

No unfortunately they do not. However prices are very reasonable.

    How is parking?

It can be tough on Friday, Saturday and Sunday. Other than that you should be able to find parking without stress. Monday-Thursday there is ample street parking. Most people usually park in the garage nearby.

Does it get pretty busy on Sunday, Monday, Wed or Thursdays at 6 pm? Planning a casual post-work meetup that could have 30 ppl showing up and would like to plan if there will be enough room/tables for us to sit together. Thank you.

We were there tonight, on a Monday around 5 to 6pm and it wasn't busy at all. Closer to 6pm more people start trickling in, but. no where near as busy as later in the week. Thursdays it tends to get busier, especially if it's nice weather.

What kind sugars are used in the swirls and frozen drinks?

Is this a sit down restaurant where you have a server/waited in or do you order up front and wait for number to be called?

Are dogs allowed to sit on the patio?

Officially, no. But, I used to bring my dog all the time. Just keep in mind the patio gets super crowded. 👍🏼

FWIW guy behind me struggled too but had more time to wait for someone to take his order. The food itself doesn't taste bad or anything. It does taste fresh. Chicken was on the dry side. Portion size was smaller than I expected especially after paying $31. It's the kind of café that makes you want to slow down and stay awhile. The staff was friendly and helped us choose both a pastry and our toast. They were also happy to customize our order--we asked for the levain sourdough toast with butter instead of the usual olive oil. That toast was absolutely divine. The sourdough had the perfect balance: chewy without being too sour, with a crust that was crisp but not so hard that it fought back. Easily the best sourdough toast I've had in the Bay Area. If you come here, this is the one thing you have to order. The only disappointment was the butter. They serve French butter, but for an extra $2, the portion was tiny and honestly nothing special. I've had better butter from Whole Foods. It didn't take away from how incredible the bread was, but it wasn't worth the upcharge. Their Kouign-amann is also one of the best I've ever had. 1st time here. A friend invited me to join her, and said it was where many of her co-workers ate…read more The short version is: my meal was very sub-par, and way over-priced. The details: I normally don't eat a lot of meat, so I chose the Falafel Salad. It came with extremely little lettuce, plus a few olives (which I don't eat), onions (which I also eat sparingly), tomatoes, cucumbers, and the falafel balls. Oh! And there was feta cheese, but those were such miniscule pieces, and so few, that I wouldn't have remembered it was supposed to be part of the salad, if I didn't just pull up a photo online with their ordering system. What you see in the photo online is not what you get. The photo actually looks like a salad. Since it was called a salad, I expected there to be more lettuce, than the few pieces on the plate. I mainly was cutting up the cucumber & tomato pieces to go with the falafels. I don't even recall any dressing. There were also some pita slices with what I assumed was hummus. Whatever the dip was, it did not taste good to me at all. So I left all of the pita bread, as well, since it was dry without anything on it. Maybe what I assumed was hummus was a dressing. Hard to know, but it was not tasty. For the $27 I paid at a walk up counter, I would have expected much better food! I have bought frozen falafels at Lunardis (around $7) and made a salad for them at home, and enjoyed it very much, which is why I ordered it. I have purchased Spanakopita at the store many times, (about $5 for around 12 of them at the store) and made them at home, which is why I didn't order that. The falafel salad was not an enjoyable meal for me at Yiassoo's. I'd also seen some reviews from a few years back that said they paid around $10 or $11 for their meal. That is more in-line price-wise with what you get, based upon my meal. With most of the meals around $20 for lunch, I feel they were very over-priced. I also asked my friend if she'd like to split a Baklava. They had a pistachio one & chocolate one. My friend wanted to try the chocolate one, so I bought that. I didn't think I was too into baklava, but thought it might be nice to try at this highly rated Greek restaurant. The main flavor that came through was the honey & nuts. The chocolate was just a tiny, narrow drizzle on top. I didn't hate it, but I would never order it again. My friend took one bite, and said she mainly tasted the honey, and would take it home for her husband. It may be very good baklava, but it was not to our tastes. My friend ordered the Gyro salad. It had a large pile of shaved meat, and she seemed to enjoy it. She ordered it To-Go, as she knew she'd be taking some of it home. She seemed to have more lettuce under her pile of meat than my meal got. Maybe because it was in a To-Go box, which might be larger than the plate? Or maybe the person making my salad just wasn't paying attention to how to make a decent meal. I was hoping I was trying a restaurant that I could go back to for something different. Based upon my experience, I would not go back, if I had a choice. I gave it 3 stars, because maybe other dishes, or people looking to just eat meat or falafel balls and not much else would enjoy it. I only have the 1 meal to review, but it does not encourage me to try it again. Overpriced & not a fulfilling meal.

Just never got around to working a review before. Went early on a Saturday evening recently and was surprised to not have to wait. We split a Bibb lettuce salad that was simple, refreshing and perfect. A tiny pea fritter was the very definition of a small bite, and while it wasn't what I expected, it was crisp and tender. Grilled artichoke was one of the best I have ever had. (Just wish they had been explicit on the menu that it was a half a grilled artichoke). Cocktails were up to their usual high standard -- rye Manhattan for the BF and clarified milk punch for me. I don't get out much these days and I rarely drink alcohol, but is $20 a lot for a cocktail? Or is that normal now? They were great though. BF got the ribeye with morels, which was perfectly cooked and unbelievably tender. I had the burger, which was more exciting than it sounds, dressed with a wild combo of veggies, cheese and bacon while still managing to be harmonious and fresh tasting. Side of fries were crisp and tasty, though not as perfectly hot as I would ideally wish. Because the burger was late coming out, or server (Bernardo I think?) comped us an amazing little dish of vanilla soft serve ice cream with olive oil and sea salt, along with the butterscotch pudding that we ordered. The pudding didn't have the strong butterscotch flavor that I hoped for, but the vanilla ice cream stole the dessert show. OCK isn't a place I can afford often, but I still really like it. I appreciate the creativity of the dishes, the quality ingredients, and the bar. And the old-school shopping center vibe of the Pruneyard is low key festive and garden-like. The interior of the restaurant is kind of standard-industrial modern, but nicely so. Oh, and their glassware is super nice.

Unfortunately, I wasn't particularly impressed with what I ordered this time around, but I'd like to come back and try some of their other dishes before forming a final opinion. The Vienna hot dog was $12, but it didn't feel worth the price. The chili and cheese they used made it taste more like something someone could make at home rather than something I'd expect from a restaurant at this price point. The KFC (Korean fried chicken) was decent, but the flavor and texture reminded me almost exactly of Taiwanese popcorn chicken with the basil and with green onions instead. Overall, maybe I may have just ordered the wrong things, so I'll give it another try and explore more of their menu next time.

It is one of the pricier burger options around, but you can literally customize your burger to your hearts content (or other sandwich type). We have had their burgers, fries, onion rings, chicken tenders and a salad - kale quinoa. Quality of ingredients - really high, really delicious meat. Lettuce and ingredients in salad were fresh, and plentiful. Portion size - a large fry or a large onion ring feeds my whole family - when it says large, it is large.I did not trust the first time and ended up with WAY more fries than we needed. But fun fact - these reheat really well! Some do not, these are great the next day in the air fryer (same as onion rings) The only disappointing item for my son was the chicken tenders, they were very small and mostly breading. Kind of felt like we had the last remnants of a batch. Good flavor overall, just not a lot of chicken and overall this was the smallest portion size, even for a kid size. And we order from them all: Mojo, Habit, The Burger Lounge. I would rank the Stand higher than these others for quality, flavor and menu selection. But definitely at a higher price point. One thing to keep in mind - paying for McDonalds these days is close to paying for one of these higher-quality spots and I will pay more $$ any day of the week to ensure higher quality ingredients and choices.

The burgers are juicy, the fries are crispy, and the milkshakes are absolutely outstanding, rich, creamy, and the perfect way to finish the meal. What really stands out is the consistency. The restaurant is clean, the atmosphere is relaxed, and it's a great place for families or a casual meal with friends. If you're looking for high-quality burgers, delicious shakes, and excellent customer service, I highly recommend The Stand. We'll definitely be coming back again and again for our classic burger fix!
