Amazing service. Our waitress was very helpful and accommodating. We had a party of 8. We ordered several dishes extra spicy. Food was good. The chili pakora was fantastic. Butter chicken was my favorite. A few others preferred the Korma. It's not my favorite Indian food in the Bay Area but it is good. Worth a visit if you are craving Indian in the mission.

Omg yum, I think this is my new favorite Indian/Pakistani restaurant. Service is fantastic and space is clean, spacious, and quiet enough to have a conversation. We ordered a rose, appetizer platter, paneer saagwala, lamb biryani, and a paratha. Everything was so incredibly fresh and the saagwala in particular tasted incredible. The plates look average size, but they're actually really filling because the chef is so generous with the proteins. Everything was perfectly cooked and seasoned, and clean as well. Not oily whatsoever. Really loved being able to taste all the spices and ingredients so distinctly. We were blown away. Everyone here is so kind and friendly and the food spectacular. We truly had a wonderful experience from the moment we set foot into the restaurant. Thank you for a wonderful date night!! We'll be back very soon :)

tldr amazing indian/pakistani food in the heart of the mission with standout fusion-y dishes like the paneer tikka masala biryani and samosa chaat one of my Pakistani friend's favorite spots in the city and justifyingly so! We ordered the samosa chaat, paneer tikka masala biryani (secret menu item/delivery menu), and chicken tikka masala! All dishes were amazing and had great flavor. samosa chaat was a fun play on samosa and had a great spicy chutney on top and a great way to kick off the meal chicken tikka masala had some dark meat and lots of sauce that could soak up in the buttery fresh naan paneer tikka masala biryani is definitely the stand out dish as it combines the best of two dishes - biryani and tikka masala! paneer was nicely seared and flavors were decadent and flavorful staff is great there and attentive for the most part! the restaurant is huge and has a lot of tables perhaps why they are considering shutting down but hopefully have the funds to open in a smaller place. wishing them well as the food is great!!! food 5/5 for creativity service 4/5 ambiance 4/5 value 5/5

Some of the best Pakistani/indian food in the bay! The pakoras were my favorite part of the meal. They were breaded lightly, and yet were unbelievably crispy! The chicken and lamb are juicy and full of flavor with an enjoyable level of spice. The biryani is not real dum biryani, but the rice is still flavorful and quite good considering. The servers are attentive and friendly and their interior space is huge. If you love dhaba style food (pakwan, shalimar, karimi) but want to go a step up in flavor and service, this is the place to go!

After almost 20 years, this San Francisco staple was on the verge of closing for good but has thankfully managed to keep their doors open so they can keep serving up the tastiest Indian/Pakistani food in the city. Stop by Aslam's Rasoi the next time you're in the mood for a fresh and flavor packed dinner. And don't forget to ask for their new mango lychee drink - it's one of the tastiest new items on their menu.

So happy to be back here at one of my favorite restaurant in the city. Aslam Rasoi is always a hit if you're craving for some North Indian paki food. The service is great here especially the waiter and waitress that works here. Ambiance is awesome! And we got so lucky today with VIP parking in front. Chicken tandoori and Tikka masala is always a must here!

The food is delicious. Best tiki masala I've ever tasted. The employees are great and have a very positive and pleasant attitude. The restaurant is very nice. From the bar to the table setting. I have recommended this place to a few people and they love it.

They now have Tikka masala fries!!! And they are the best I've taste!! Staff is super friendly and it's a big space so I didn't feel cramped eating my food.

Great service, great food, great ambiance! Everything was on point. We were greeted immediately with a smile and escorted to a table right away. We ordered the Garlic and Plain Naan, Chicken Briani Rice Chicken and Fish Tikka Masala, Lamb Vindaloo, and Tondoori Chicken. You have to come check them out. You will not be disappointed.

Aslam's Rasoi has such friendly service and they go above and beyond to take care of you! My family and I came here last week to celebrate a birthday dinner. They were able to accommodate a big party and to add the restaurant is spacious. We ordered a few dishes to share family style and so many different naan breads too. We ordered: Chicken tikka masala Lamb saag gosh Whole chicken tandoori Samosa Lamb vindaloo Chicken karma Lamb biryani Garlic and basil naan, plain naan, goat cheese naan Poori Papadum All the items such as curries we ordered mild due to the young children sharing at the table. All curries had a lot of sauce to dip your naan bread into. I wish they would've added a little more protein to their curries. We had left over curries to bring home too. Naan bread was nice and warm and we had extras. The poori and papadum was a family favorite and the children wanted more. The restaurant also made some spicy sauce on the side for us to try. Thinking it would be spicy and I wouldn't handle it.. it was not spicy at all and it tasted more like a brown stew. We were appreciative that they were able to make us some spicy sauce on the side. Thank you.

The garlic naan, seafood tandoori along with the lamb was so great! Fun atmosphere!

Living la Vida Loca…read more.. It's always a good day when tacos are involved, and even a better day when they are absolutely delicious! La Vaca Birria is counter service- you order at the counter, you pick up your food at the counter. The menu is fairly simple, and who needs overly extensive when what you're ordering is hitting a 10 out of 10 in taste and flavor ?!? Working backwards, the Horchata is delicious! I often find that when I order Horchata at different restaurants, it's either been watered down, or somethings going on with it where it's locking the fullness in flavor. Chips- house made. Perfectly crunchy, definitely tasty, could have used salt or some seasoning. I still enjoyed them. I ordered three birria tacos with consommé. ( combo #4) with the plan being that I would enjoy one and have the other two later on. These were so good, that I finished all three. The meat is tender, flavorful, and the overall flavor profile super tasty. The consommé did exactly what it was supposed to do and added a layer of flavor to the tacos. I found that that's not always the case, but this was definitely the exception. The tacos were fairly light on the filling, which is why I was able to finish all three. The added bonus is the house made churro that comes in the combo. Who doesn't like a tasty churro? Services nonexistence since it's a counter situation. Are you getting the biggest bang for your buck here? No, not really. It's pretty pricey for the offerings. The meal cost pretty close to $30. Definitely not cheap eats. Go for the deliciousness!

I ordered the chicken and beef kabob plate, and while the meat was flavorful, I wish they included more hummus. At around $25- $30 per plate, I expected a more generous portion. I ordered takeout and arrived about an hour later because the app never updated to show my order was ready. Surprisingly, the restaurant wasn't very busy, and they didn't start preparing my food until I got there. I mentioned that I had placed the order an hour earlier and expected it to be ready, but the server seemed to brush off my concern, which was disappointing. One highlight was the hot sauce. I'm not sure if it's house-made or not, but it's so good. The pita, however, was a letdown. I prefer my pita soft, fluffy, and warm, but this one was hard and grainy. Everything was fresh, flavorful, and beautifully presented. We shared one breakfast platter, and it was more than enough for us. The restaurant itself is also beautiful, with a cozy atmosphere that makes you want to stay and enjoy your meal. The biggest disappointment was the Turkish coffee. I had been telling my husband how amazing authentic Turkish coffee can be because I had previously visited a Turkish café in San Mateo where the coffee was served in a traditional pot alongside Turkish delights, allowing you to refill your small cup. I expected something similar here. Instead, we each received only a tiny cup for around $5, which felt more like ordering a small espresso. It wasn't bad, but it definitely didn't live up to our expectations. The service was another area that could be improved. We arrived early and were ready to order, but we waited quite a while before anyone came to our table. During that time, I noticed another table that had arrived after us was greeted, had their order taken, and thus received their food before we were served. That was a little frustrating. One small inconvenience is that there is only one restroom for the restaurant. Despite those issues, the food was excellent, and that's what matters most. We would absolutely come back for the Turkish breakfast because it was truly delicious. Overall, I'd give this place 4 out of 5 stars. With a little improvement in service and a more memorable Turkish coffee experience, it would easily be a 5-star restaurant.

Parking for this location was very difficult, especially when you visit on a busy day. The atmosphere is moody and dark which is perfect for a date night. I ordered - Burma Chicken Mint - Nan Pia Dok - Tea leaf salad We started off with the tea salad since it was highly suggested by our waiter. I love the amount of toppings they add onto the salad and having it served table side is even better. For the salad, it was more savory and the flavor was light which helped bring out the salad more; which is a positive. The Nan Pia Dok noodles were also served table side and honestly, this was good but not quite extraordinary. Eventually halfway, the noodles lost its flavor and just felt like stir fried noodles with toppings. This was also more of a savory dish. The Burma Chicken Mint dish was also somewhat delicious but fell short towards the end as it tasted exactly what it looks like. It's not bad but does get boring fast. If you love spicy food then I highly recommend getting this; otherwise it's not really for me. The service is honestly top notch, can't really complain when the person serving you the salad is extremely friendly which breaks the awkward silence every now and then. Overall, I would definitely come back to try some of the other dishes as I'm venturing into newer territory, and honestly that's okay. The service and food was decent enough for me to give it another chance. The salad was honestly the best thing to get here.
