Being fast food we did not expect great food. This review has nothing to do with the food. The food was mediocre at best but the cashier. The young lady was rude and unfriendly. Before I ordered I asked if I could upgrade the fries in a combo for chili cheese fries. She looked at me like I was from outer space huffed and snapped YES I said great and proceeded with my order. She was rude even I went to order money when I finished with my husbands she kept cutting me off And basically told me what to order. I usually get the twin kitchen with no cheese and when I told her I wanted my burger to have no cheese she insisted it comes with it and wouldn't place it with no cheese so I couldn't even order what i I wanted. When I was done ordering she handed me my change and just walked away!! Wow if you hate your job that much please go find something you like!! It seems that any Baker's I go to is almost always a pleasant experience. The employees are always nice and not miserable like some other fast food places. Their food taste great and non-greasy. Although they may use oil to cook, I dont feel that choking oily feeling as I do with other fast food places. I had the single baker, Caribbean chicken sandwich (sweet and spicy... caught me off guard there but not over powering) and a taco this time. I find that the tables and chairs are very clean all the time (perhaps they are well staffed or customers are much more on the cleanliness side). I worked in fast food years ago and I doubt the latter. They even have an employee that brings you the order when your order is ready. I dont think all locations do this. Friendly and timely service. Baby Blue Shirt Jessica is always on top of everything here. Clean dining room, and the food is actually grilled, chopped, and prepared inside the store. Daily! I can't really stand other fast-food restaurants any more. It's so obvious when food is microwaved instead of grilled now. I really like Bakers, and I wish I had one close to home. When I realized my doctor was down the street from here, I always grabbed some food before or after my appointment. I love their habanero ketchup. I usually order the mama burger and fries. I also like their chorizo and egg burrito, it's pretty decent chorizo and eggs. So why the 3 stars? Because I came to this location an hour before breakfast was due to end. I had my sights set on the chorizo and egg burrito. Stopped just to get a drink so we didn't feel the need to wait in the drive thru line when the inside had a sign that said it was open. Even though there were people inside, at least one of which was not an employee, the doors were locked. Nobody inside came to open the door. Pretty stupid to advertise that your dining area is open and that masks are required to enter if you're going to keep the doors locked and not let someone with a mask in to order to go. Good food is never an excuse for bad service. I am vegetarian, I love that bakers has options available for people like me. I always get a Boca Burger-Mama Twin meal. Veggie burger, Veggie taco, Fries, and a green tea. Same thing every time. But why, oh, why do they decide whether or not they will MAKE my food each time i come? It's simple. Either you Serve the items or you don't. Just make sure your staff is on the same page because the "sometimes we do it and sometimes we don't" is complete nonsense. And the managers explanation of why we can't do it coupled with the apparent attitude in her voice definitely convinced me of her poor aptitude in her position. Fortunately, I'm here more shocking that my hubby never has Bakers (omg yes) so I convinced him to take our hangry ass to Bakers lol 1. I'm amazed menus slightly changed (in a good way) 2. Orders were handled quickly and on point! 3. I live right next to the other Baker's in Rancho Cucamonga (off Archibald near the 10 freeway), but I drive the extra distance because this location is a million times better. Quick shout out to Corey at the drive thru who is always super nice, patient, and helpful :) Anyway, I'm vegan and I have a very specific order--bean burrito with no cheese and add potato. The other location gets it wrong every. single. time. I finally got fed up and started coming here, and they've never gotten it wrong. I use to love this restaurant it has amazing food but they just removed one of their best items off the menu, the classic bean and cheese burritos were by far one of their greatest items but they removed it as well as the combo where you'd get two bean and cheese burritos for a very affordable price. I am highly disappointed in this change and I will give a higher rating when they return this item. I'll be avoiding this once beloved restaurant until further notice. read more

I used to take my wife and kids to eat at bakers.Their burritos kept getting smaller. Last few times, I noticed the beans are spread VERY THIN, VERY LITTLE RICE.. If I ordered a beef burrito no beans and rice. About 3 tablespoons of beef???.. Would cut off half of the EMPTY tortilla. Pretty disgusting to be biteing into a AN EMPTY tortilla....large nacios, more beans in the bottom, FEW chicken or beef pieces, maybe a tablespoon of cheese sprinkled on top. I find that I had to put alot of sauce to add flavor.. Don't care if prices go up, BUT! when the portions are smaller it's very frustrating.. First the lady taking my order kept repeating it wrong, then the lady taking my money was to busy taking the order of the car behind me (she just stood with the window open rolling her eyes because the guy behind me was saying the wrong name of the food) I had to wait till she finished that order, just to ask how much was due, (since I wasn't told after I ordered) then the guy handing me the drinks, hands me a cup that was all messed up, and the lid must have not been placed on right. Now the pictures I posted tells the food issues, torn up burrito, I asked and was charged for extra green sauce, i guess they charged it as extra cheese, THERE WAS NO GREEN SAUCE. We used to love it here, but we will not be returning. This location has completely gone down hill the last year. The last five times we have gone they have messed up our order by either not giving us items or today they did not even put sausage in our sausage breakfast burrito. The drive thru was ok, took a little while to get through but I think it's because the car in front of me had a really big order lol. The food was really good! I ordered a teriyaki sandwich with an order of chili cheese fries. The chili cheese fries are always my go to whenever going to Bakers, but this time they were even better than usual. I don't eat beef, so I'm reviewing what I do eat, which is mexican food. It is pretty awful. First I tried the chicken burrito which was $5 and very small. Hardly had anything in it. Beans and a few pieces of chicken, I don't even think it had cheese for that price, and not very good. Today was a vegetarian burrito, which consisted of old, seriously burnt beans, and cheese. I asked for green sauce on it and they wanted to charge extra! It's a shame as I live very close, even got the App in anticipation of many visits, but I'm done. Those burgers must really be something for them to stay in business. read more
