Amazing cinnamon roll with a tasty icing that isn't too sweet. The gooey cinnamon sugar at collects at the bottom of the roll is fantastic!

I love this place! I come here everytime I do laundry next door. Their ham and cheese croissants are amazing. I love that they have hot sauce and simple syrup and other sweeteners and cream at a self serve station. Very reasonably priced and the customer service is usually great. They also have a good seating area inside and outside.

Great little gem in Serra Mesa. Cinnamon roll was delish. Also had their banana bread latte, which tasted like you are eating banana bread. Forgot to take pics of the pastry but the cinnamon roll was great and not super sweet. They also make breakfast sandwiches, which I'll try next time. Small parking area but you can park on the street.

I love this cute little neighborhood coffee and more shop in Serra Mesa. The ladies are so kind and helpful. I've been here numerous times...everything I've tried is to die for. Save some time and pre-order on the Toast app. I'm addicted to their Birdie Breakfast Sandwich - piled high with fluffy egg whites, spinach, turkey and pepper jack cheese on a soft herbed Kaiser roll. I don't know where they get their bread rolls, but they are unique and delicious! Today I tried their Raspberry white chocolate (made to order 1/2 sweet and non fat milk), and a Salted Caramel Chocolate Chip Cookie Bar. Rich and decadent. What a treat for me! Come and try the wonderful food and drink here and treat yourself, too.

Depending on your taste buds, may or may not be your preference. For the price, I would personally buy pastries elsewhere. Coffee is good The consistency was better a couple of years ago, I believe the ownership changed. Would just recommend for coffee, or somewhere to sit and sip when doing laundry next door. Smoothies are decent.

I stopped in because I was using the laundromat across the parking lot and wanted to kill time. I got 2 strudels (strawberry and cream cheese) and found them both to be delicious. At close to $4 a strudel however, I do think they could have offered to heat them up or something. The shop is small with some seats though I just got my item to go. I probably wouldn't mind stopping by again when I'm in the area but probably won't drive out of my way to come back.

Bear Buns Bakery has become my go-to spot in the mornings. I'm absolutely hooked on their Ube Cold Foam Matcha, which has the perfect balance of flavor, and I find myself ordering it almost every day. The cafe is never too busy, which makes it a great place to relax or get a bit of work done. There's plenty of seating both inside and outside, and the overall vibe is calm and cozy. Their pastries are always fresh and flavorful. I've tried the cinnamon roll, which is soft and delicious, and the almond croissant has the most amazing filling. It's easily one of my favorites. The breakfast sandwiches are also really good. While I agree with some reviews that the bread could use a touch more salt, I actually enjoy it as is. You can tell it's baked fresh and made with quality ingredients.

I originally came here because I kept hearing they had an amazing Cinnabon. It is absolutely delicious and worth the hype. Since then, I came back a few times. Their coffee selection is good, and they're happy to make drinks less sweet. During the fall, they also offer seasonal pies, and the apple crumble pie I tried was incredible. My only complaint is that I wish they had even more pie varieties year around and some scones because everything I've tried has been so good. The carrot cake muffin is one of my favorites, but my newest discovery was their coffee muffin... and wow. It was honestly one of the best muffins I've ever had. It had the perfect texture - not overly sweet, just dense enough to feel rich and satisfying. Absolutely delicious! The customer service deserves a special mention too. I always order a nonfat latte, and one day they made it. But just as I was about to leave, they stopped me and told me they had accidentally made it with whole milk. I hadn't even noticed, but they immediately remade it without hesitation and with such kindness. That level of honesty and care says a lot about the people who work there.Fantastic pastries, excellent coffee, and genuinely wonderful service.

I visited the establishment on a late Tuesday morning to purchase a few cinnamon rolls. I appreciated that the rolls were prepackaged individually, allowing for easy distribution to my team. I ordered five rolls in total. The process of handing them out was straightforward, and the customer service was efficient. Everyone complimented the rolls, noting their freshness and not being overly sweet.

Cinnamon roll and a iced vanilla latte with almond milk

A hidden gem in San Diego that is a must need drive. I live by bea buns almost my entire life, and I've never tried it until recently. Who knew I was missing out on such amazing coffee and delightful food. The service there is fast and quick, and the vibes are nothing but homie. There's cinnamon rolls and ice lattes. Fill my heart with warm and I absolutely love it. 10 out of 10 place to try!!!

Got the Benny sandwich on focaccia. Definitely could use some more salt in the bread and the hollandaise. Also got the sticky bun. It did not disappoint. I swear they put like $300 worth of pecans on the top. No shortchanging you there. I ordered an iced decaf dirty chai latte. They forgot and made it full caf. They offered to remake it but I don't want to be wasteful. Staff are super awesome. Very friendly. They have indoor and outdoor seating The outdoor seating has been updated since the last time I was there . I think there might have been a recent ownership change, but I'm not 100% on that Would definitely go back I went at 10:30 on a Sunday and there was no line and they still had cinnamon buns and sticky buns left. That is not typical.

If chewy cinnamon rolls with a slight exterior crunch is what you are looking for, this may be the roll for you. Their cinnamon rolls are made without nuts and the glaze is thin which I prefer. The staff is friendly, the space is super clean with indoor and outdoor seating. @sturdygirlstyle #sturdygirlstyle

    Ube croissant
    Michaela I.

Very cute little bakery with limited seating and parking is very limited. Everyone working is very kind and sweet, seems family owned and operated. I got the ube croissant and the cinnamon roll. Ube croissant wasn't sweet enough for my taste, however, my brother really enjoyed it. Their cinnamon roll however, was very bread-y and the frosting was very lackluster. I saw mixed reviews about the cinnamon roll despite Yelp listing this place as being known for them, so I thought I'd give them a try. Stick to Cinnabon if you want cinnamon rolls. I would like to come again to try the coffee and other more specialty pastries.

Saturday morning, my husband waiting for his turn to pick up the sticky buns.
