There's limited capacity so they do make sure we're social distancing by using every other table. They have a huge menu selection for breakfast and lunch. Friendly and quick service! I ordered one of the breakfast specials, the chicken fried chicken, so it came with a lot of food. I got to choose hash browns and scrambled eggs, along with a side a pancakes. Everything was good, but I thought the hash brown was a little bland. Other members of my party tried the eggs Benedict and really like it, so I might try that next. Chicken fried chicken was $14 and chicken and waffles Benedict was $15.50, so the total came out to be about ~$33 with tax. Kind of pricey considering the portion size for the chicken and waffles Benedict to-go was smaller than if you were to dine-in, and it was missing the homemade maple cream. Unfortunately, I didn't realize until I came home and by then it was too late. I don't know if it was a mistake, but it seems like according to the reviews on here, a lot of people had something missing whenever they ordered to-go. So keep in mind, make sure that your order is correct before leaving (if you order to-go)! The utensils looked a little unsanitary too.... so ask for a new one. read more

This place serves a real breakfast and is a definite to do if you are in the area. A chicken fried steak, corn beef hash and eggs benny please. Nothing but compliments from around the table and it must have been good. After the food arrived, my father in law has not ever been that quiet! The atmosphere is friendly with attentive servers, but sometimes the food can leave something to be desired. It depends on what you order. My mom and I split the almond-crusted french toast and the vegetable omelette (so that we could have both sweet and salty). The almond-crusted french toast didn't have a lot of extra flavor (tasted like regular french toast) and the omelette needed lots of hot sauce to give it some kick. We split a biscuit each with butter and jam, which was served warm and a nice size. I would not recommend the sausage patties. They were quite overcooked and tough to try to cut through. We told the waitress and asked for her to bring out some other patties, but unfortunately they were dry and overcooked as well. Perhaps if we go again we will get the sausage links instead. Positives: The decor is nice and definitely Seahawks friendly. We had no wait being seated on a Friday at 9:00am. The coffee is good! They're great about refilling often. Loved my breakfast at Bisquits Cafe. I met a friend for breakfast during the week. It was pretty busy, even for a weekday. I was seated fairly quickly, however I waited for a good 20 minutes for my friend to show up! (That's a whole 'nother story ) I ordered the chicken and waffles and an order of eggs. The food took a bit longer than I would've like but the large sign on the wall that read, " We don't serve fast food we serve fresh food" was an indicator that I should expect that. The food was worth the wait. My eggs weren't scrambled too hard, my waffle was large and fluffy and my chicken were nice sized chicken tenderloins that were good and juicy with good seasoning. The serving size is generous. The prices are reasonable for the portions of the food. Roughly $11-13 per person. All in all I love the Bisquits Cafe. We visited this restaurant at about 11:30 am on a Thursday. They were fairly busy. It took a long time for us to get waited on, and then the server forgot to bring my beverage. When we got our food, it was barely lukewarm. I had eggs Benedict which was good. My husband ordered a meat scramble which was way overcooked, so much so that he couldn't eat it. He did enjoy the pancakes that came with it, and they were hot. We asked for the scramble to be taken off the bill, which they did, and we appreciate that. When we went to pay, the gift card I had wouldn't scan so we had to pay full price. I would not return. read more

Mmmmmokay. My first trip to Biscuits Cafe left the same impression as a wet beach towel. They had some plumbing issues making operating a restaurant even more challenging than it already is. The food here was great! The coffee was fresh and the booth was comfortable. So, the reason for the missing star is the service. The place had AMPLE staff, and there were only three tables of two customers each, but we had no coffee refill ($3 for a cup of coffee) and in fact didn't see our waitress after she dropped off the food. Ah, the politics of breakfast.....one would hope to escape the nonsense, but apparently here, one cannot. I presented my vaccination card at Biscuits Café. "The owner isn't enforcing that", was the response. Okay, got it. I should've turned 180º and walked out. It probably explains why, during a breakfast rush hour, I was one of three customers in there. Whether they want to help protect America and Americans or not, I stayed; I've done my everyday patriotic duty and stay current on my vaccinations. I present no threat to Biscuits Café (but this review probably will). There is nothing on this menu I, or you, mostly likely, can't make for 25% of the printed prices. Still, it's good to go out once in awhile and try something new. This was my first time here. The first thing I looked for when walking in the door: cleanliness. Anyone who reads these reviews of mine know well by now that a clean café is of paramount importance to me. You can eat off my floors at my home. I'd at least like to be able to see nothing on the floor, tables or countertops if I eat someplace in public. In this particular regard, Biscuits Café succeeds brilliantly. All tables were cleaned and ready for new diners. Applause, applause, genuinely. Next: the menu itself. Organized, legible, attractive, and not overwhelming of choice. The descriptions were as good as any photos that could've been on the large sheet of plastic. I narrowed down my choices to three from many selections I'm sure I'd have enjoyed equally. I settled on the four egg Country Omelette, with Loaded Hashbrowns and a side of blueberry pancakes. Oh, and coffee. Gallons of it, please. The omelette tasted good. Not overly salty. The veggies in it were obviously fresh, which I appreciated. The sausage patty pieces, though, were dry and cold. The bacon tasted good. As regards the Loaded Hashbrowns: cold and dry. A few sprinkles of grated cheddar cheese on it were not soft or melting. Disappointing, honestly. As a comparison, the Loaded Hashbrowns at Shari's, a stone's throw from here, are hot, moist, melty and plentiful. I was honestly surprised by these. The pancake was perfect. Light, flavorful, nice balance of berries, and plenty of butter-type substance and maple-type syrup. To be honest, the pancake and the coffee were the best part of the breakfast. I'm not saying the rest of it was awful; it was good. Just not once-in-awhile-treat good. Average, at best; particularly considering the price. And now onto the price. $20.00 for the entire breakfast. That's not a bad price, really. I don't eat out often, so when I do, I want the value of the meal to be worthy of the price. I don't think this was, quite. I've had better food at Denny's and Shari's, for less money. Other places near here include Shelly's in Normandy Park and Pancake Chef in SeaTac/Tukwila. I'll give them at least four stars, each and all of them. With all that to say, this wasn't a wasted trip. The service here was on par with the food, and I tipped accordingly. But why, I wonder, is the tip menu misleading? Businesses try to get away with this egregiously dishonest practice, but they don't get away with it if I'm reviewing. Next step: finding legislators who will introduce a bill in Olympia to make such a practice illegal and punishable with fines and full-day closures for each infraction. All in all, I'm glad I came here. I was one of three tables in the entire place when I was here at 9:30AM on a Tuesday morning. Political Assault: If the owner doesn't care about Covid, I won't return here. I care. The food: average/good. Cleanliness: perfect. Accounting practices: deceptive, in part. Two stars. Come here if you want, but don't tell 'em Jeph sent you. Decide what's important to you, in the exchange of your money for the food and services provided here, particularly the lack of public service in ensuring only vaccinated people eat and work at Biscuits Café. Everytime I come here the food is good but the service is HORRIBLE. Being seating doesn't take too long depending time and day you go but once you're eating you are constantly hearing other customers having issues their servers or food. I finally made a review today after being completely ignored while trying to PAY. I almost just walked out with a free meal. Everyone but myself was being ignored and the poor cashier was young and new and instead of the other server JESSE coming to "help" he cashes 1 person out next to me, I ask to cash out with him he completely ignores me and yells at the young cashier to rush his other customer out the store and help me instead of doing it himself.
