I have been to BJs many times before. This time was a terrible experience. We were a party of 8. Ordered a couple avocado egg rolls for starters. They brought it out after our meal was served. One of the dishes chicken Alfredo was cold. Had to be sent back. The server never could be found and we had to flag different people to get any help. No one came by the refill waters. UPDATE TO ORIGINAL REVIEW Mia the locations site manager called me the next day to apologize and not only refunded our entire order but also bought us our same order so that we could still enjoy our special treat from our daughter and son-in-law. The food was wonderful just like we are used to getting from BJ's. Thank you Mia for correcting this and regaining our love of BJ's as it was once our regular place for our weekly date nights. I'd heard through the grapevine about the famous pizookies (skillet cookies) so my hubby & I stopped by for a sweet treat. The services was amazing but it took forever to receive our dessert. When it arrived, it wasn't aa hot as I'd like nor as thick as some of the other skillet cookies that I've had but it was pretty good. I ordered the chocolate chip pizookie & my husband ordered the triple chocolate pizookie. His was a bit more warmer but still not as thick. If you sign up for their rewards program, you can receive a free pizookie as a reward! It takes 24 hours to receive. If I go back, it'll just be for the free pizookie. We came to this BJs for a late night dinner around 9:45 PM and we were greeted by servers and staff a like headed out the door. While it was understandable that staff was clocking out for the night, we waited 5-10 minutes before being greeted at the host stand or being seated. It looked like 3/4 of the restaurant had been cleaned and put away for the night already. Once we sat down our waitress got our drink orders, one beer and two waters. My husband said his beer tasted off (almost like medicine) and was flat. Our waitress seemed super busy so we didn't bother asking for anything else. We got a half and half medium pizza (buffalo chicken and BJs classic) and a mac and cheese couscous appetizer. About 5 minutes later the waitress came back and said they ran out of medium pizzas and we had to either get the large or change our order completely. We weren't that bothered by this and decided leftovers wouldn't be the biggest issue. Once the pizza arrived it seemed like hadn't been cooked enough. The crust lacked a crisp and seemed like it could have used a few more minutes in the oven. The veggies on the BJs pizza seemed to still be raw for the most part. Honestly the best part of the meal was the couscous appetizer! We've been to plenty of BJs in the area but this experience had to be one of the more disappointing ones! read more

All of our food was mixed up and cold when it was brought out and we were charged for it when they were the ones who mixed it up. The management was extremely rude and was not helpful at all. With only 5 days until the date, the manager at this location worked with me and came up with an amazing meal for our staff, and the price was right in our budget! Our waitress was absolutely kind and caring but lacked training. And urgency. We were eating a late dinner (around 8.45p) and the restaurant was quiet - we were one of 3 total tables. I have grace for wait staff having previously been a server myself. I just wish they would have spent a little more time focusing on us and less time texting on their phone and in the corner. Food. I was ravenous after a long day of travel prior to little sleep. However, our food all came out mild temperatures and not too tasty. The breads all tasted stale, the sides lacked flavor, and the starter seemed half empty. Definitely not worth what we paid for. I've loved a BJs experience because the vibe of the place is always on point for great conversations and fun. However, probably best to skip over this location if you're in the Allen area. read more

We were not impressed with our visit to this restaurant. We had called for a reservation and when we got there, they had said they never received one. Because of this, we had to wait another 20 minutes and the service was very slow. It was not very busy in the restaurant either so we were quite surprised at how slow the service was in comparison to the amount of people there. Our favorite thing though was the spinach artichoke dip which was amazing! The nachos were also a hit for our party of 10. Had my first really not great experience at this BJ's and was quite surprised by the lackluster experience overall. We were sat and our server did not come by to say hello or ask if we needed anything for almost 25 minutes. After taking our food order we never saw him again. The drinks we ordered did not come until almost 50 minutes later and both entrees came out both very overdone. We also noticed other tables in our section all seemed to be looking around for the waiter that never came back - probably won't be coming back to this location. read more

So we had a party of 5 on a Saturday evening. We were seated quickly and our waiter, Romello I believe, showed up quickly and got our drink order promptly. We took a while to order but he kept checking for when we were ready. He was super helpful and personable and gave us his opinion on a few menu items. Food got out on good time, was hot and everyone at the table was pretty happy with their food. This place seems to have some bad reviews, but our experience was very enjoyable. When my wife and I asked for the same, instead of getting cloth table napkins like everyone else, the water slapped down a pile of brown recycled paper towels from the restroom. The staff were all very welcoming and friendly. Our waitress was really nice!! We ordered the ahi poke appetizer and it was pretty good, but the tuna didn't seem as fresh as some other places but the flavor etc was all still fine, it just didn't look that good I ordered the 8oz filet mignon w starter salad and mashed potatoes. the steak was cooked perfectly (rare- like just show it to the grill rare, yum) but it was incredibly salty/over seasoned. First, I want you to succeed, but you have to do better. I've never thrown away food after one bite. I was served up a Facebook ad that your large pizzas were 50% off so decided to try. Bought 2 of them, and asked to be cooked well done. -Verdict: Awful. Both undercooked, and both were so soggy as if someone ran it under a tap. Dough was like wet bread. It was that soggy. My kids refused to eat it after one bite. Two large pizzas ended up in Tuesday's garbage pick up. 2-stars only bc the curbside server was polite. Wish you the best. read more

BJs has been in this area for about 20 years. I've never been. Until today. Recently one of my credit card points redemption choices was BJs so I bit. After reviewing it I realized I should have checked the Yelp ratings first. Sure enough, things are choppy in the Yelpasphere for BJz Brew House . I looked at the three locations within striking distance of my house. They all appeared equally mixed. So,what the heck,never been,give it a try. Tonight we went and upon entering the place is big. However,it seems impersonal or outdated..can't put my finger on it. The menu seems to be trying to appeal to all people and taste. It kinda feels like if TGI Fridays and Cheesecake factory had a baby. Without going into detail I'll just bottom line it. We chose BJs because their app allowed a party of 8 to join the waitlist on the app. We joined the wait list at 6:07, at 6:30 we were told it would be 45 minutes, at 7:20 we were told it would be another 30. Made a reservation since it was a Saturday night and was seated right away but unfortunately we waited 10 minutes before anyone even greeted us. We sat watching as several servers walked past as we looked on trying to figure out how long we would sit before we got up and walked out. At exactly 10 minutes, our waiter (one that we had seen pass a few times) comes and quickly says "sorry, I didn't see you here". That's all, as it it was our fault he couldn't see. We ordered drinks and he quickly went away. As soon as they came I realized that A. He didn't even ask what we wanted in our margarita rims (I was already irritated that I forgot to change) and B. They seriously half assed our drinks which came out lukewarm, minimal ice, and no garnish at all (I had just ordered the same drink the day before which came out completely different and was actually good). We ordered appetizers and entrees and asked for our salad to come out with the app. Well a few minutes later, out comes the Salad but not appetizer. We waited at least 5 more minutes for that to arrive. Our food was "ok" but all in all, the experience left a lot to I be desired. The pizookie was the best thing about the night. Hi! Teenage girl here who totally gets that some teens can be shitty and not tip! I am not one of those teenagers. I am completely ready and willing to tip 20% on a bill, however not this time. Kaitlyn V, super cute girl, literally made eye contact with me several times before running away basically From seating to paying we were there for about an hour and a half. I'm a fast eater and I just wanted a lil pizookie to finish off my meal. Queen would not deliver the damn pizookie though. Did not get refills, silverware was dirty, server AVOIDED US, and from when she set our entrees down to when she actually got to us about desert was almost 45 minutes. She also stuck her hand in my ranch and then proceeded to apologize and set it on the table anyways. Not even really a fan of BJS, especially with this horrible service and expensive food.
