I've been seeing this place on social media a lot lately, so we stopped by on a Saturday around noon to give it a try. It's definitely overhyped! First, there's absolutely no seating inside the place, so you have to eat your bagel to go. The dusty old plaza it's located in has no seating or tables either, so we noticed everyone was taking it to the outdoor patio of the next door Mexican restaurant to eat at. If I was the owner of that restaurant I wouldn't be happy! Also, they have zero napkins available and only provide wet wipes. Why can't a customer choose to have something as basic as napkins, especially since their bagels can get messy? We got the Jalapeño bagel, which wasn't bad but it wasn't amazing either. The bagel itself has a nice crispy exterior, but the interior is LOADED with cream cheese that becomes watery from the heat of the toasted bagel! So unless you enjoy watery cream cheese making the inside of your bagel a soggy dripping mess, I wouldn't get it again. Overall, bagel itself is ok but the business model made it an unenjoyable experience. Would not come back! read more

My boyfriend and I were so excited to try the bagels here because the first time we came, they were completely sold out. We came back early on the weekend and got to get all the flavors we wanted to try. We got the chili oil, ube, corn and garlic asiago flavors. Of the 4, ube and corn were our favorites. The texture of the corn one was perfect -- it was soft, airy and chewy. I'm not typically a fan of bagels because the ones I have had in the past tend to be really dense but these bagels weren't like that at all. The ube one was actually a mochi texture which was perfect because it was a more dessert style bagel. The garlic asiago bagel and chili oil bagel had a slightly different texture than the corn one because they contained cream cheese filling. I do kind of wish the flavor of the garlic and chili oil filling was a little stronger - the flavors were a bit more on the subtle side. We had ordered the chili oil bagel expecting that it would have a little kick like chili oil seasoning typically does but it didn't have a kick at all, so I hope they are able to add a little more kick to it in the future. In regards to their drinks, the flavors were subtle as well but I appreciate that they weren't too sweet. The dark chocolate mocha tasted like a dark chocolate hot chocolate. Their dubai chocolate latte had a pistachio cream top that was very creamy and went well with the dubai chocolate underneath. The note on the website to drink it through the side so you get both the top and bottom together was a great tip. We live close by and lo and behold there is always a line outside Bloom Bagel. Everything here is delicious gourmet goodness. I will always get a classic bagel and then try a new one. I have liked everything so far but the best is the corn cheese one but you honestly can't go wrong with any. As for drinks I get the Pistachio Hojicha Latte - Iced. So good. It's a small shop but line moves fairly quickly. It's not too far from Campbell park so you can walk over and sit on the benches (or even bring a picnic mat). read more

Drove all the way to Campbell to try these bagels and the lattes! Definitely need to eat while hot, as the crispiness of the bagel and the warm toasty inside really add to the overall flavor. We got the Cali roll and the chili oil scallion bloom bagels. The Cali roll was my favorite: imitation crab, furikake, cream cheese blends together well. I like the crispy outside and how it provided a contrast to the soft texture of the fillings. I do think it's a little heavy on the cream cheese though. The chili oil scallion does smell and taste like chili oil, so if you like that I think this would be a good bagel for you! I liked the richer/more varied flavor of the Cali roll. I also got the pistachio hojicha latte and very much enjoyed every sip. The pistachio cream isn't too heavy and the flavors complement the earthy tones from the hojicha. Bloom Bagels is known for their Asian inspired stuffed bagels. They rotate flavors once in awhile, and so far I've tried the Hong Kong toast and the ham and corn bagels. The Hong Kong toast tastes like a Hong Kong cafe western style toast; the peanut butter flavor was strong with condensed milk. The ham and corn pastry tasted very nostalgic, like the ham and corn mayo buns I used to love from Asian bakeries. The drinks are also good too so don't skip on them! Oh this place is just wonderful! I saw it all over social media and knew I needed to check it out. A few months ago, I showed up to the sold out sign on the door. I decided to give it another go (and ordered ahead on their website!) - I am so grateful I did! I tried the corn cheese bloom and the chili scallion bloom, along with a banana biscoff latte. We came in around 9:50 AM on a Friday and there were about 4 people ahead of us in line. They already had the classic, corn cheese, and ube sold out so I'd recommend coming even earlier if you want more popular flavors! We needed up getting 2 garlic asiago and 2 chili oil scallion bagels and they were both super yummy! The bagel texture was absolutely perfect with a chewy exterior and a soft interior. The garlic flavor was just right and there was a slight sweetness from the honey in the bloom butter. The hype of this place got to me. I was super excited to try this place so we ordered online right when the store opened. We placed an order for 5 bagels and 2 drinks. Just came here yesterday and wanting to go back and try more stuff now! Placed an order online not long after they opened up just to make sure I could get their shio pan bagels. I saw on social media that they have seasonal flavors so will definitely want to check throughout the year to see what kind of stuff they g t into because the ones I tried were really great. Ordered 4 of the shio pan (gave 2 to a friend), the jalapeno cheese, and the chili onion scallion ones. Price came to $50 for 6 bagels so they're definitely on the pricey side but the online ordering was quick and ready in 5 mins and they were going to hold it until 1 for me so great to order ahead if you can't make it in just so they have it for you. The bagels themselves weren't as crispy when I picked them up around an hour after I ordered them so I can't say how it will be when you pick it up but a quick pop in the air fryer and it was crispy on the outside and soft, buttery, and chewy on the inside. I failed to take a pic of what it looked like inside because I devoured them so quickly. The jalapeno had a nice kick to it and comes with the cheese already stuff inside and it was a generous serving. Came here earlier today about an hour before closing to finally try their bagels and drinks. They were viral online for their banana matcha drink and bagels, so I wanted to wait for the hype to die down. There was a small line ahead of us when we first came. I like that they post the menu outside of the store so you could take your time looking without having to rush and feel pressured ordering in line. They do have menus inside as well and at the front. At the front, they mark which items are sold out for the day. We ordered the garlic Asiago bagel, miso scallion bagel, cloud hojicha latte and the ube sesame drink. No wonder why they sell out items for the day because the bagels here are delicious. I got the miso scallion bagel and it was savory, flavorful and fulfilling. The outside was crispy with melted cheese and as you take a bite, the inside with the cream stuffing was soft and warm. My friend loved the garlic Asiago, he'll probably come back for the Cali one because it was sold out when we checked. I'll be back to try their dessert bagels, they were sold out of the churro one today. :( The drinks here are pretty good. I enjoyed my cloud hojicha latte I got and the cloud cream on top was yummy. When I say Bloom Bagels is my favorite business in the Bay, it really is my favorite business in the Bay. It's a small grab-and-go location in Downtown Campbell with a parking lot. Depending on the day you go, there may be a line, but this is easily combatable by ordering directly off their website using Toast! This is the best way to order if you're worried about flavors selling out. (Don't use Doordash for ordering pick up, since the prices will be higher.) As of today, I have tried every single Bloom Bagels flavor (minus some previously limited edition flavors and the current additions for fall). The bagels are expensive, but they are so worth it. My go-to flavors (and one that I hope they'll bring back permanently soon) are pork floss, corn cheese, and ube almond. Not only are they delicious right out of the store, they reheat SO well that I've made the bagels last multiple meals. Since they're pre-cut into sections, it's so easy to take bits of multiple bagels for a small snack or breakfast/lunch! As for their drinks, I typically get their vanilla latte with their ube cold cream, which to not be dramatic, changed my life. If you take anything away from this review, let it be known that Bloom Bagels knows how to do ube! The workers are so so sweet and work so quickly even with the large line. Cute spot in Campbell serving Korean style stuffed bagels! I visited Bloom Bagels at around 11:30am on a Wednesday, and they were unfortunately sold out of most of their bagels. However, I was thankfully able to get my hands on the last of their Corn Cheese Bagel (which was one of the flavors I was most excited for) as well as their Banana Cream Matcha! I found the bagel to have a nice fluffy yet chewy texture, while the toppings of corn, kewpie mayo, and cheese made for a delicious savory bagel. It tastes a lot like the corn cheese you get at KBBQ as a reference. The matcha latte was pretty good too - the banana cream was delicious and tasted like real bananas, while the matcha itself was on the lighter side with more floral accents. I personally enjoyed the latte, but it did come in a smaller cup than I expected. Ambiance-wise the place is small but cute. There's not really any seating in the store, so it's definitely more of a grab n go spot. The workers were nice and personable. I've been so curious to try these bagels out, but every time I drive to the location, the line would be down the sidewalk, so I'd promise myself I'd go another time. I waited 20 minutes until someone pushed their way by me. The people behind me were irritated I'd let someone in (I was also talking on the phone), but I promised them I'd guard my line better. As someone exited, there was a tiny sign on the inside counter for online orders. That's when I entered and waited behind the person who had pushed through the waiting line. And it was just a few minutes to gather my order that had now been sitting for a good 35 minutes. I drove home to share my carby finds with my beau. And I wasn't super impressed with anything. The drinks were good, but adding oatmilk and extra shots made them $9 each, and so I'm not sure I loved the $46 price tag for 3 bagels and 2 coffees. The bagels are still in our fridge this morning! This completely lived up to the hype. Their was a ~10 person line out the door but we still got in about 15 minutes later. I recommend trying to place an order online if they make that capability available. We got four bagels and two drinks to try. 1. Banana matcha latte 4.5/5 Free oat milk substitution. They give you less of the drink if you ask for no ice. This had a strong banana flavor and overall a great matcha! 2. Pistachio hojicha latte 5/5 I thought this drink was delicious. The pistachio cream was not super pistachio-forward but I liked the creaminess of it. The hojicha was strong and bold. One of the best hojichas I've had in a while! 3. Cali bagel 4.25/5 This was quite heavy as a bagel but overally it did kind of taste like a sushi bake! 4. Chili oil scallion bagel 5/5 This was the most savory of the bagels and overall I would not say this bagel was spicy. The scallion and chili oil are such a great pairing. 5. Corn cheese bagel 4.5/5 I loved the subtle sweetness and savoriness of this bagel. 6. Ube almond bagel 4.5/5 The ube was strong and had a great almond marzipan texture. However, these bagels had a really nice texture. The garlic Asiago bloom had a sweet and savory flavor. The ube matcha latte wasn't my favorite, they have a sign that recommends just drinking the latte without mixing but I could only taste the ube foam and no matcha. This is somewhat the traditional bagel that you can expect. The herb cheese is whipped and has a nice layer inside of the bagel. The bagel was dense, but paired nicely together. This is a nice hint of heat from the chili oil after several bites and the cream cheese was a decent ratio to bagel bite. Shio Pan Bagel (Salted Butter Bagel) - $9.35 The Shio Pan Bagel is a unique twist on Japanese shio pan (and Korean salted butter bread). It resembles a lightly glazed plain bagel with a sprinkle of flaky salt. The bottom was a bit oily. The texture leaned dense rather than soft and fluffy like traditional Korean salted butter bread. Overall, it's a solid, kid-friendly option for those who enjoy simple, bread-forward flavors. Churro Bloom - $11.25 A limited edition bagel stuffed with cinnamon sugar cream cheese, dipped in butter and topped with cinnamon sugar. Customer Service I was greeted by the employee for my order and promptly given it. I asked for napkins and wet naps were the only option available. The ordering process has several options: online via Toast Tab or DoorDash (there may be other food delivery services) and walk-ins. I was looking to order either on Toast Tab or DoorDash. However, right when I was going to submit my order at 10:00 am (they open at 9:00 am), a notification triggered that they stopped temporarily accepting online orders and it was likely due to capacity. I waited a few more minutes and after my next try, Bloom Bagel re-enabled the ordering services on their end. Ambiance Quick grab and go spot for your orders. Outside of the storefront doors are signs for walk-in and online orders to guide customers on where to enter. It felt like a small box shop and very claustrophobic with the long line of walk-ins going out the door to the short line for online orders. There's white and wood accents for the decorations. One of the best bagel spots I've been to. I usually get the garlic asiago and corn cheese bagels both are so good if you're into savory flavors. They sell out pretty fast, especially on weekends, so definitely go early. I've tried the banana matcha latte, which was pretty good, but my usual is the pistachio hojicha latte the flavor combo is just right. Hands down my favorite place to get bagels. I've come here time and time again. I recommend it to everyone because they are just that good. If you come on a week day, you have a better chance of items not selling out as fast and a shorter line. If you come on the weekend, I recommend coming before 10 am. The staff here is great. Everyone is super friendly! Their store has only gotten more and more popular so I appreciate the staff continuing to provide excellency service. My favorite go to is the corn cheese bagel. After seeing countless videos on social media of these wonderfully stuffed bagels, I decided it was finally time to give it a try. Reviews mentioned that it can get quite busy on a weekend so I decided to come on Thursday morning around 9:45 AM. When I arrived, no one was in line with just a couple of people waiting to pick up their orders. You can find their menu online or posted on their Instagram page. They have a seasonal/limited time flavor rotation so check those out as well! I ordered the garlic asiago, pork floss (limited time), and Hong Kong style (limited time). I also tried their banana matcha as recommended by so many others on Yelp. After a 30 minute drive home, these bagels were still warm when I finally got into them! They are each quite a hefty bagel and stuffed very well. They're cut up into 6 pieces so you can easily share. The bagels all have a nice crisp on the outside but a sot interior thanks to their double baking. The butter they use to dip the bagels makes them full of flavor as well. The garlic asiago was perfectly garlicky and creamy. A tad too much cream cheese filling but still a delight with every bite. My husband loved the pork floss which was filled with kewpie mayo and had bits of ham and corn. Very savory. The Hong Kong style is filled with a peanut butter cream cheese and drizzled with condensed milk. If you love peanut butter, this one is dreamy. Despite these bagels being on the indulgent side with their fillings and buttery goodness, I was surprised that they didn't feel too heavy. The banana matcha was decent. They don't whisk their matcha to order here and pour it from a pitcher that is made in advance. They offer whole milk and oat milk. The syrup they use added the perfect amount of sweetness and did not take away from the matcha flavor. It's not the strongest or highest quality, but you can still taste it. The banana cream tasted fresh and more natural than other banana matchas that I have tried. In terms of service, I think it could have been a little better. The gal who made my drink was friendly but the individual who took my order was not very warm. When asking for recommendations, I wasn't given any suggestions and their tone of voice wasn't the most welcoming. All that to say, it didn't change the taste of the bagels and perhaps it was just a bad or off day for that individual. The price is a little steep for a bagel at almost $10 per bagel. Ordering 3 bagels and 1 drink after tip was over $40 but with the rising costs of everything these days it's not too much of a surprise. I think it's certainly worth trying as you normally don't see bagels made in this way. I'll consider returning for the occasional "treat yourself" bagel. read more

Recommend any of their bagels but I got were the famous corn cheese bagel and classic bloom. I paired it with the banana espresso latte and banana matcha latte. In my honest opinion, I really enjoyed the banana espresso latte but whatever they did with the foam top is super amazing. I always try to stop by and grab a quick breakfast but sometimes on certain times/day it can get quite busy. (Especially when they sell out so come early as possible) read more

Bloom Bagels always hits the spot! I don't think I've ever had a flavor I didn't like! Got here a little before noon on a Sunday and surprised not to find a long line! Some of the flavors were sold out already, but we snagged the Jalapeño, Garlic Asiago, & Chili Oil Scallion. All of them were great and filling. I've also tried their lattes & einspanners in the past, but the Dubai Chocolate Latte is my new obsession--Tastes just like the chocolate bars!! Ordered online and picked up in-store! Was super quick and easy. Kind of sad that they removed the small seating area that they had, so I ate my bagel in the car. But glad that they've extended their hours, so I was able to snag a bagel at around 2pm :) The scallion chili oil bloom was so delicious and is def one of my faves now. Bloom Bagel did not disappoint. I came around noon and they were already pretty picked over. which says a lot. but I couldn't leave without trying something. The ube bagel was sweet and delicious. I also ordered the banana matcha latte, and it was perfect.not overly sweet, just smooth and well balanced. Even with limited options left, everything I tried was so good. The bagels are drinks here were so, so good! I got the cali roll bagel while my bf got the chili oil one. Both flavors were unique and done so well. The cali roll one tasted exactly like a cali roll sushi! The chili oil one wasn't spicy, but the oil seemed to be blended into the cream cheese which gave it a nice, savory flavor. Towards the end, I was a bit overwhelmed by the cream cheese so I think this is great for sharing or trying other flavors. In the future, I definitely want to try the garlic asiago or corn cheese! The matcha with strawberry cream was so delicious and the cream wasn't too sweet - it tasted exactly like strawberry! My bf got the pistachio hojicha latte and he mentioned that the pistachio cream was the best he ever tried and really brought out the flavor. read more
